NEW Fallout 4 Walkthrough Gameplay includes a Review of Main Story for PS4, Xbox One and PC. This Fallout 4 Gameplay Walkthrough will include Character Creation, a Review, Weapons, Power Armor, Crafting, Combat, Perks, Bobbleheads, Books, Main Story Missions, Side Quest Missions and the Ending of the Single Player Campaign.
Fallout 4 is an open world action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game will be the fifth major installment in the Fallout series, and will be available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
Fallout 4 takes place 200 years after a war over resources that ended in a nuclear holocaust in 2077 - roughly the same time as the events of Fallout 3. The setting is a post-apocalyptic retro-future, covering a region that includes Boston, Massachusetts and other parts of New England known as the Commonwealth. Unlike previous titles, Fallout 4 ' s story begins on the day the bombs dropped: October 23, 2077. The player's character (voiced by either Brian T. Delaney or Courtenay Taylor) takes shelter in Vault 111, emerging 200 years later. Gameplay will be similar to Fallout 3. Completing quests and acquiring experience will level up the character, allowing for new abilities. With an optional first- or third-person view, players can explore Fallout 4 ' s open world setting at will, allowing nonlinear gameplay.

The Minutemen can be the most powerful faction in the game if you put in the effort to build them up. I think this battle proves that.
Absolutely, depending on how many settlements you've got you can rain down artillery mayhem on unsuspecting enemies practically anywhere on the map. Could be helpful if you are playing on survival difficulty and find yourself swarmed by Ghouls or Raiders or the many big creatures. Although one word of warning - don't be near where the volleys are going to land if you've improved your explosives perk, I've experienced some hilariously untimely deaths from the massive AOE.
I've had my fair share of funny deaths. I know how crazy the artillery can get.
The only thing what is pissing meine Off Me: i helped the settlement 1sec later Preston: Another settlement needs our Help After you helped all settlementy Preston: The settlement got attacked they need your help
The minutemen are the most powerful faction ever seen in a fallout game really. Ur absolutely correct tho all the settlers you see are ur minuteman and they can have any weapon and any armor
Honestly with the "militarised minutemen" mod it can go gun to gun between the NCR and legion maybe even the sercutronsmkII
-General, I think it's time to deal with the Brotherhood. -Hehehehe, oh man always wanted to say that.
Beginning of the game: Minutemen struggle to defend themselves against some raiders Towards ending of the game: The minutemen nuke the Institute and blow a fucking airship right out of the sky
That's an underdog for you.
well the minutemen are clearly secretly the most advanced faction in the entire post fallout even more advanced than any pre war accomplishment because they are capable of building things that completely defy the laws of physics and build monolithic structures that are an affront to the gods
LOL! Best comment in ages. :)
Airship base? Pfffft! The Minutemen roll out with a fortress that has inexplicably gravity-defying parts of itself floating around as a defensive measure against invading vertibirds, mirelurks, and whatever else might threaten the Castle. And they don't even need to use any technology to make this possible. Those parts of the Castle stay in the air through the power of the people of the Commonwealth standing together, and the spirit of post-apocalyptic historical reenactment. Because that's most definitely how things work around here. It took quite a lot of helping settlements to achieve that. Speaking of which, another settlement needs our help. I'll mark it on your map.
that why i say don't fuck with the minute men . i mean it .
I mean they are because of the playing character
"shot in the face with a missile :ad victorioum
lol yup ad victorium.
I was a traveller just like you once... until I took a rocket to the face...
Minuteman Artillary can't blow through Brotherhood hulls 2287 was an inside job.
1776! WILL COMMENCE AGAIN IF YOU TRY AND TAKE OUR GUNZ!!!!!!!!
That airship was just asking to be blown up.
Corrupted Archangel artillery shells can't melt steel beams.
Corrupted Archangel Ikr
The railroad planted bombs inside the ship
0:57 - I think MacCready laughed at Preston
MacCready: HAHA, THE MINUTEMEN DEFEATING THE BROTHERHOOD LMAO
Hahahahahha
"General. I think it's time to deal with the brotherhood." MacCready finds that hilarious.
Explosion + Vertibird wing debris flies towards you... Codsworth says, and I quote, "Blasted All. They winged you!"
I did this mission. This mission was so awesome. I wasn't expecting it at under level 30. So when the smoke cleared and we had won, all my companions were downed and all of the settlers there had been killed. In addition I had no ammo, and no anything. I used the escape tunnel once just to get them from chasing me. Crashed veribirds everywhere.
And in the first place there were almost no defenses
- It's time to deal with the Brotherhood - Hohohohhoh man!!!
I was laughing at that to Macreedy has doubts :3
"puny mortals cannot hide in water, for I have bullet of explosion."
I love how he taught me a history lesson while blowing up shit, that's a nice change from being in a quiet classroom
Glad that you dropped by, feel free to come back again anytime. Have an awesome day.
Those laser and rocket turrets were beating the shit out of that vertibird at 4:35 lol wow
amen that is the way i like it .
11:48 that is the best view of the mysterious stranger that KZhead has had
That dancing vertibird looked fabulous DONT JUDGE IT
Paladin Danse used that Vertibird to much!
Don't you mean why vertibirds never DANSE? I'm not sorry, but sorry.
Dammit, I should have thought of that! :) Well played, well played.
+Cheng Teoh Thank you, I look forward to more of your videos.
I loved doing this mission because it just felt the brotherhood never really cared for the people of the commonwealth at all. That's why I enjoyed reducing the airship and there order to a big smoking pile of ash
Yeah, I want to destroy the Prydwen too. I just feel sorry for the technology and the money I get when I sell the technical documents
JET PSYCHO BUFFOUT STIMPACK MENTANTS GOOOOOOOOOOO COMMONWEALTH! By your drugs combined, I am the Sole Survivor!
+stinkoman2x6 There's actually another easy way of getting through this particular mission, you can either snipe the pilots or hit the engine on the wings to take them down.
Lmao I wasn't the only one thinking about that.
8:00 Elijah must have unlocked the secrets of the Sierra Madre.
who cares ? i dont .
Preston Garvey: You did it General! With the Brotherhood of Steel out of the way, we can continue defending the Commonwealth. Good riddance to those tin assholes. Who would thought the missile turrets suspended in the air would actually help with the artillery we had. Oh, by the way another settlement needs your help. I'll mark it on your map. Sole Survivor: Aw...crap... After all that? I wanted to do some gambling! Here we go again...
"The Minutemen are the weakest faction in the game."
No disagreement here, although the artillery is pretty awesome when it hits. Imagine how powerful the Minutemen would be if one were to place a couple of artillery guns in every settlement in the Commonwealth which then triggers a full coverage mandate so that when you toss the flares anywhere in the world the artillery would follow.
not my men . they can own bos blindfolded .
u can . priston tells u that after u meant him after the old guns quest
Nope I actually think they are the strongest
Nope I actually think they are the strongest
2:42 The Minutemen are secretly Advent.
Damn. Now that's what I call a No Fly Zone. But then again, vertibirds weren't all that powerful to begin with.
Indeed, the most restricted No Fly Zone ever. :) Hope you enjoyed the firepower.
They are in the lore, wayy more overpowered.
wow, I'd be scared to fly by the castle with that much defence
It's my own version of a No-Fly zone. :)
Loved the video. I should really try this mission, it looks fun. Loved how you switched to talking about the origin of percentages in the midst of battle. xD
+Corvux It was one of those moments where my mind wandered off a bit. Glad you enjoyed.
+Cheng Teoh you don't NEED to do the minutemen ending.
Prior to doing this mission I made sure I had the maximum settlers/minutemen (MM) possible at my Castle. -I equipped every MM with a full set of sturdy combat armor with a heavy set for high ranking officials. -I also armed my MM each with a grenade ranging from cocktails to plasma grenades. -I finally gave each MM a legendary weapon I wasn't using. The final result was an amazing battle with all colors of lasers, grenades, and fire power. Don't cheat yourself with floating gun platforms and enjoy the battle!
That's the way to do it
yo its taking me forever to suite my minutemen up withh full armor and weapons
Those Three Guys Here is some help, -Gunner's Plaza and Quincy Ruins for sturdy to heavy combat armor and grenades. -You don't need legendary weapons, but, they do give settlers an extra kick.
+Jmagnum8989 sweet thanks man
If those vertibirds can dance, then I'm going to make my turrets float.
Yeeeesh.... This day will forever be remembered as "The Commonwealth Massacre" *see what i did there?*
Very good, well played. :)
Blowing up the Prydwen reminds me of messing with a bee hive ...... you mess with the nest and a swarm comes after you
The only difference here is that the bees were exterminated.
Would be cool if liberty prime came in for the fight
I went incredibly overboard with castle defence, I spent hours scavenging materials and around 2 hours placing it all, I had a mod that allowed me to have infinite settlement building space so I had 1700 defence and almost crashed my game , when they did attack all my turrets took them out easily
When this happened i equipped some of my settlers with combat shotguns and some others with combat assault rifles.. and 3 with missile launchers and one happy guy with a fat man (worst mistake)
lol, oh you poor person. The nightmare of having an NPC with a fatman will now haunt my dreams. XD
I did a hard save before this so I could try different versions. In one I gave Fatmans to three or four Minutemen. I used the Dogmeat duplication glitch to make some explosive shotguns to pass around to other settlers. I built a perch above the Castle to just watch the carnage. In the middle of it Supermutants decided to join in the fun.
I liked how I learned something watching this. the tidbits of non Fallout info was really nice. subscribed!
Thanks so much, glad to have you aboard. Feel free to watch my other Fallout 4 videos to get random tidbits.
+Cheng Teoh I've been enjoying myself so far!
11:23 Now that's some efficient "fly-swatting".
lmao ur just gonna let ur son stay in the battlefield 😂😂
LOL, okay I absolutely didn't think of that, but now that you mentioned it, DOH on me for being a bad parent. Feel free to drop by anytime to see more neglectful parenting.
Mac ready laughing when you guys are talking about destroying the brotherhood..
Hey Cheng. Thanks for putting the for the walk throughout. Cheers
+mark egipto Feel free to drop by anytime for more walkthroughs if you need help.
I really like the concept, like flying to close to a military base you get shot down. Cool
love the what you done with the castle its great
Thanks for the kind words. :) It was fun to build.
i bet i got the castle i am have been looking for a way to set it up thx to this video i now got a ideal .
After years of owning this game, I had no idea this was even a option
awesome video man!
Thanks for the history lesson.
lol i love the random bits of info, so cool.
glad you enjoy. :)
Lots of explosions, lasers, death people and roman trivia. Just how I like it...
Absolutely, the more the merrier. If I added more it would have definitely caused a system crash.
in a way with our powers combined is like the war of 1812, when British forces (in this case the Bos) tries to control but the minutemen (representing america due to a weaker military force at the time) agenst all odds defeated this tyrannical force, this battle in particuler may have represented the defense of Baltimore, which inspired the national anthem the star spangled banner
I know Maxson is very harsh but I don't think the BoS deserves it because overall they are still nice people that wants to rebuilt what's left
Darth Doofenshmirtz have you ever played fo3 and fonv? They are always the good guys that defeated the enclave,if you say the brotherhood are asshole than the enclaves are 12 years old spoiled kids and I do admit in this game the brotherhood did do a lot of things that are wrong but that's the developers fault for making this weird twisted eastern brotherhood branch(the Lyons and the western brotherhood shenanigans search it up it's pretty fun) and you are right Maxon is totally a piece of shit, rail road are nice people and he just have to kill them to steal P.A.M . But hey you can hate maxon but don't hate the brotherhood
The Brotherhood became fanatical when Maxson took charge, they in fact resemble the Enclave in a lot of ways themselves. Looking down on and being prejudiced to anyone that is not a pure human. Ghoul, Super Mutant, Synth, it does not matter. They became the very thing they fought against in Fallout 3. Hell they do not even treat their fellow man with any respect, they always look down on you if you're not part of their ranks. They view you as less than them, and that they're better. Worst sin of all is that they almost view Maxson as some sort of deity with the way they worship him. People with this kind of mindset is not someone you want being in charge, it never ends well. Its why I went with the Minutemen, a faction made by the people for the people. The Brotherhood is just a faction made by themselves for themselves.
Man never thought of that Fallout 3 reference you made... Good Eye man....
It's sad. I used to like BoS since playing Fallout 1. I started to doubt them in Fallout 3 when they act a bit racist. Then Maxson made them all racists :( Wish there's a mission that made you the leader of BoS. I'm truly looking forward to that. Maybe Fallout 5
Mercury The Metallic Liquid Don't forget that the Brotherhood took the engine out or Rivet City so it's no longer inhabitable, it seems they did a number on the Capital Wastelands and stripped it clean of tech and resources to build their airship.
A 200 years later history lesson in school: The Battle of the Castle was brutal because the Brotherhood vertiberds didnt stand a chance. It was a slaughter. The Castle artyllery shot them down like birds one after another. The survivers attempted assault failed. They were met with fierce resistance. It was over before it even began. Not even a power armor wearing soldiers of the Brotherhood could withstand endless barrage or rockets and heavy lasers.
This is a really good video, I am interested in this
If you've got time, an interesting in hoarding any items you come across, and then breaking down said collected items to make other items, then this is the game for you. :)
That and I'm wondering where Codsworth was charging off to @ 5:24 lol. He was ready to kick someone's ass xD
A lot of cool facts in this video! I also think it’s cool you can do this! Thank’s, my next play through I wanted to create mayhem. Going to destroy all the factions, with the minute men. That do... a back stab! Haha!
Damn thats insane defense. I never had that much building materials, and I only focus on sanctuary. What I did on the castle is I armed 20 immortal settlers with gatling lasers, fully modded gauss rifles and nuke grenades(they can throw infinite nuke grenades). I just sat down and watch the BOS fight a fight that's impossible for them to win.
I actually had slightly more offensive fire-power but it absolutely crashed the system, lol. This was a dialed down version. Also this is how obsessive I can get when you give me any crafting system and let me do what I can. I actually have a video of what I did to the castle after this -- kzhead.info/sun/a6-wXb2cqWOblZs/bejne.html .
Nice build bro.
That's a nice Anti air 👍😅
Holy hell this game still amazes me
i enjoy the completely unrelated tangents lol.
Glad you enjoy the tangents, because sometimes my mind wanders to strange places. Feel free to drop by and enjoy my non sequiturs in the various other videos I've got up.
i love his or her castle
I like the brotherhood ending they have checkpoints with fusion cores and power armour don't have to steal it either
Holy shit...I have never seen this ending..
Ever considered installing the Minutemen poster mod? The Orwellian themes really fits your castle build.
you make awesome videos man
Thanks so much! Been off for a couple of week since my wifi is sporadic at best, hopefully I'll continue soon.
Awesome!
4:33 it was at this moment, the pilot knew *he fucked up*
0:58 General I think it's time to deal with the brotherhood *MacCready laughs*.
Commonwealth Minutemen: Bringing an end to the dissident BOS-COM and restoring the bond between the commonwealth... and the elders
When I was at the castle I saw the big blimp and I saw this huge figure there to -
Who would win? 200 year old lawyer? Or a man who killed a death claw when he was 13
As the brother hood of steel you would think they would have a better plane other than going head first with millions of vertibirds.
Oh the humanity!!!!!!
man you really pissed them off! my game i am in a truce with everyone. and its great. for the moment they all help against mutants and ghouls.
Damn, really reminds me of Black Hawk Down for some reason. That, and vietnam.
When I was doing this quest, I fired a Mini Nuke at a Vertibird, missed, obliterated half of my settlement and now I’m stuck on a save where my settlers hate me. Also note that I was inside of the Castle at the time and I heavily armed my settlers.
😆
Seeing how you built the castle, I'm not entirely sure why you decided to fight in the battle personally. I feel sorry for the bastards flying at you
For the Munitemen!!!Commonwealth is ours!!!!
If you don't do this mission inmediately, some settlers give you a mission, protect the artillery from BoS.
Need some tips for getting away from the prydwin afterwards
Wow. They attack with either full, half or fully stripped Power Armors. *Slow clap* Great job. 10/10
Has anyone else had issues with this mission? For me in the beginning of the defense aspect of it, only one vertibird is coming and I have to visit other nearby areas to draw more out. And on top of that, the vertibirds will not crash, only a few actually crash and I'm constantly having to leave the area(around 95 ft or so) just to get them to blow up. I tried restarting it from the beginning also. If the next fallout is like this I am done with the franchise. I've wasted countless hrs trying to find solutions to bugs just to progress in the main storyline which is absurd... Anyway, thanks for reading and any responses/insight is welcome.
Now we do the Railroad!
Thats all great but there is another settlement and they need our help
6:32 Elder Maxon got rid of the religions in the Brotherhood.
it meant they treat technology as a religion
Mr. sting ray They used to treat it as a religion but Elder Maxon got rid of the religion So they wont go back to worshiping it.
🎵Dana Scully. She is our hero. Gonna bring The Prydwen down to the ground.🎵
Realistically the Bos would win, they have power armor, vertibirds, and actual military training along with some of the most advanced technology (and of course liberty prime) while the minutemen are a bunch of farmers with guns. But the sole survivor defies basic reasoning and is a drug addicted omnipotent being, so which ever faction that has the sole survivor will win by default
Can't disagree with any of what you say. Although the Institute might be able to win through subterfuge if given the opportunity and time.
Awe I love the brotherhood of steel
I think the Institute assault on the BoS is way cooler.
How did you build the castle like that? How did you get so much resources
With our Power Combined, I am... Preston Garvey, Commonwealth Minutemen.
This reminds me of the airship in bf1 going down
Elijah Alcoba expect the bf1 zeppelin has A LOT more health Lol
I think that the raiders should try to attack your settlements like this every once in awhile....like maybe a quest where you kill a raider leader and they snap
That would be hilarious. I wonder if I could survive the Castle Defenses if I became a Raider myself after Nuka World.
You really need to add some kinda evil hard rock music to this slaughter.
5:47 idiot savant perk slowed down 😂
an answer to who will the elder of the brotherhood, simply, the son of maxso- oh wait
Bloody hell....it's Like the D-Day Landings but in 2277
It was a fun build. :) Thanks for dropping by.
The BOS got NCR'd once more.
only if I saw this video before stealing the gauss rifle some fusion cores and a suit jumping off the prydwen and joining the institute
I have done that so many times
Bobthebiscut lol
*AVOID TALKING TO PRESTON*
Did you have any human forces guarding the Castle, or was it all turrets?
I did have most of my companions there. I had even more floating turret platforms built but sadly the game just said "ugh cannot compute, must to crash now" I was a bit sad when the framerate went to poop and died after most of the turrets attempted to shoot simultaneously on a target once the siege started. XD
strong like that
where di u have to place the turrets
7:22 someone tipped the cartridge
I like the BOS, but god damn was that a crazy display of firepower Edit: was Preston just a psychopath testing you to see if you’d go along with his bullshit faction and do all the heavy lifting?
I know I think Preston is just an evil genius delegating the work to a random person he just met out in the commonwealth lol.
I meant to ask what character build did you use?
Oh my bad, the armor was mostly from the Automatron DLC. But by that time in the video I was close to maxing out on most of the of the skills. Starting out at the beginning I tended more towards agility and strength since I'm a fan of melee weaponry. So at the earliest opportunity I would put points into Ninja, Big leagues, Strong Back and Blitz. Blitz being easily the best thing in my opinion for a stealth melee build.
Am i able to start this before "Nuclear Option"?
