Well done, Tribe Trailers. Capability and feature rich, what an amazing camper trailer. I stopped by the LA location earlier this year to check this out. I believe the young mans name was Carlos, really nice guy and gave us a complete tour and demonstration. The production ready version looks even better. I noticed on the website, the floorplan indicates a "Hatch to Roof Top Tent" but I wasn't able to make that out in the video or any of the images. Interesting. I've added this to my very short list of future options. Cheers!
This was a very awesome and informative video. If I were out overlanding for long periods of time, I definitely would love to buy one of these.
The presentator I’ve seen before. He always did a good job in showing this unique camper. But, man he has found his stride lately. In my opinion, he is now on fire 🔥 and should definitely help to move a lot of units this year. Good job 👍!!!!
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that!
In my eyes, the only "problem" with the presenter is so attractive. He's got terrific eyes, eyebrows, etc. that are soo distracting. And I'd love to know what all the artwork on his right arm means. I distract so easily. This 75 yr. old grandma says thank you. Oh, and he is doing a stellar job!
Holy moly this is fantastic and well thought out! Sold! 😅
I love it !! Amazing build!
Get rid of the bed support grates and replace with a single hinged with strut support.
Was thinking the same thing. A thin 1/4” or 1/2” birch plywood with lift struts may also provide some added insulation below the mattress. Adding some rails to attach duffel bags or even some netting above the bed.
Would love this on a back of a Ute/truck. Well done
Seems well thought out. Had a few suggestions: (1) On Board Air: Would be nice to have 1 forward and 1 aft compressed air port for tools and airing tires up. (2) Rear facing camera (3) Red light option. Not at the main control panel but at the individual lights especially outdoor lights. White light attracts bugs and kills night vision. Red light not so much.
there is on board Air 2:00 as well as an access port! a rear-facing camera would be awesome! more options for red light would be nice, agreed, but I am happy to let you know the outside light strip above the kitchen area is a red light strip!
Red light attracts customers you don't want.
Loooooooove the screens! Sealed for those tiny campground bugs.
I see the kitchen and awning is now passenger side vs the one we saw at OX Mtn West. Sean was a great dude to chat with and described everything in person and was just as enthusiastic. I can see his passion for the unit. Some good suggestions here in the comments but some stuff could be diy “mods” as well. Thanks for the call today Sean. We’re seriously considering this unit so hope to be in contact soon.
thank you so much for the kind comment, I can't wait to see you out on the trails!
Now if only there was a longer version so I could take more than just my wife and I. I love these pop up hard tops, easier to drive but has the space when you need it.
Nice that there's a small kitchen inside. Great for bad weather. Kind of a bummer you have to completely tear up the bed to access the storage area...
This would make a great one-person trailer. Two person? Better get along well. Three or more? NO WAY!
This is definitely the one I'm going to order. #Perfect! 👌🙃
Great pitchman.
This is the best compact trailer yet, has it all love that there is 2 kitchens and full bath, love the outside shower too! Great for 2, good for 3 or 2 small kids in my case that would be for my grand kids . Do they sell these gems in 🇨🇦🍁?
Thanks!
Yeah, it’s $55000. Where can I read more about profiles of overlanders? Is there a basic assumption that they are all really wealthy? Do Overlanders Finance their adventure rigs over 7-10 years? Are units like this used primarily in front country camp sites but they allow the owner to fantasize about what they “could” do?
Only issue is the bed. If you could manage to have the "extra bed" meet at the same level as the main bed I think we'd buy this in a heartbeat. It's just too small for two adults to sleep comfortably together. Otherwise the camper is very nice.
Lotto Dreams..........that thing is a phenomenon
I liked the video because of the 6 foot 6 inch long bed and 6 foot 10 inch ceiling.
Like this idea and one that I'm contemplating. One thought though is the shower/bathroom and kitchen should be switched so you would have a pass through from the indoor kitchen to the outdoor instead of have to go around the camper or inside if you need something
I thought that was a strange "feature" all round. The fridge slide and slide-out kitchen are under there when packed up and the space is only there when they are extended - so you wouldn't really be wanting to access from inside anyway. Maybe if you were snowed in you could access the fridge etc but it would be a 1%er in my view. I agree with Davejg below just put the bed on struts and forget the grates. I think that would give you some access to the smaller passenger side storage. Overall it's quite innovative and noticeably different to the options (what we call hybrid campers) here in Australia.
Nice medical trailer inspired interior 😂
I want to film this! 🔥
I’m buying this trailer as long as the price is not ridiculous guys. I know this is not going to be cheap by any means but I am praying it is not ridiculous. I feel like I’m going to be let down but here is to hoping! Great trailer regardless and I love how much hard work everyone did to get this to production.
55k base price
Figured that out by going to the webpage finally. And 55k is a good price in my opinion. I’ll definitely be checking these out in person as soon as I can, thanks.
55k Fully loaded! we dont do any add ons everything you see you get with the trailer! @@lionflame4890
Do you know when this model will be able to get an actual look at by chance?
@cqbninja3045 seems like my comments are disappearing. You really think this rig doesn't look Chinese made? Look at every component especially the toilet. ROA has a floor model for 34k
Amazing trailer, but that price is outrageous.
Couple of observations - Why aren't the holding tanks completely enclosed? The insulation wrap looks like it would be exposed to the elements when driving. Another is that a bat wing canopy would make more sense due to the kitchen area being away from the door. Also, is there a manual crank option in case the roof lift mechanism fails out in the middle of nowhere?
Myeh thatsall getting torn to sh1d the first time you take this thing on any REAL trail it appears to be able to navigate
Классный ролик, все здорово! У меня есть несколько технических вопросов. Сможешь подсказать?
Beautiful but what’s the weight of the trailer and hitch weight? And one pet peeve is I’d like the kitchen on the drivers side.
The outside is great, the inside look like a penitentiary
So if I want something from the fridge in the middle of the night (or weather is poor), the mattress has to be removed, or folded in 3rd (with the bedding), take off a grate, open the lid (in the "wrong" direction), and reach down at an uncomfortable, if not impossible, angle from either atop of the folded bed or kneeling on the metal grate? Or go all the way around outside? Hmmmmm. Why not switch it with the AC under the small seat that I probably only need to access on rare occasion?
Привет, мой американский друг! Меня зовут Сергей и я из России! С праздником тебя, с 9 мая!
Я строю такие кемперы и воплощение технических идей этого кемпера меня впечатлили. Можешь помочь?
Well this looks like it will be cold in a winter environment. Specifically the aluminum slots under the mattress., (it may not be that bad) as the shell is hard sided.( I personally would want to rent one and try it in January in oregon) in some below zero Fahrenheit weather. I don't think it gets that cold in Australia. But what do I know
I have and obi product. I would be curious how hard is it to order parts if something goes wrong ? I know dealing with Obi in Tempe az is terrible. Their facility is very limited with parts. They wait for conex container shipments to fill up b4 they ship anything, which in turn means very long waits. I hope Tribe has better parts accessibility than Obi does. If not, its just going to cause bad blood with their clients.
I wonder if I could pull this with my 19 Toyota Tacoma TRD off road sport...
Can a RTT be equipped?
For $60k? Move along. Nothing to see here.
Say less. I'm moving on.
i love it. only problem is i want two
What's that slide-in camper there in the background? 🧐
Is this truly 4seasons?? Are the tanks insulated at all for freezing temps?? Thanks
No way it’s four seasons with those pass through
Where can I see one in-person in California?
Can the solar charger handle lithium batteries? Where would the 4th person sleep? Can you even enter the interior with top down?
the solar charger can charge lithium batteries, four-person sleeper would refer to two adults and two children, and yes you can access the inside with the top down!
@@TribeOverlandTrailers doesn't look like there would be any headroom. Would you be able to access the beds?
@@TribeOverlandTrailers what brand and type is the solar charger and inverter?
What's the lbs.
First I want to thank you for putting the inverter outside and not underneath the bed. At least some EMF will be blocked. Why no one things about the EMF they will be sleeping over I don't get. Second, general question overall, why is it that trailers install an outside kitchen and an inside kitchen. I see that as such a waste of usable space. Either cook outside or cook inside. No need to duplicate something, especially when space is at a premium. If you could answer me that I would like to know.
As I always rather cook outside, I use my inside kitchen when the weather is bad(rain or wind). Would be great if someone made a kitchen system that could be used inside as well as outside all in one. But I haven't been able to find a camper that has something like this. If you know of one please let me know.
very True, and great idea! @jmrdrgz Like Cody said the inside kitchen Is used for when the weather may not be optimal, or for a quick cup of coffee or bite in the morning. While the outdoor cooking is great for when the sun is shining and the weather is good!
@codybouillion2493 Sylvansport Vast has indoor outdoor kitchen but it's a pavement princess
@@codybouillion2493 The SylvanSport Vast has an indoor / outdoor kitchen that slides in and out. Starts @ $70K
@@bartman1857 thanks! thing looks like a big piece of plastic... but the concept looks promising if done right. The price tag not worth it to me...
They need to do this to loft tiny homes the frame extension verticality
What are the beds full measurements? I need space for 2
51" by 72 full size
I want an electrified version of this. Mini split and induction burners instead of gas/diesel. Lithium battery upgrade over AGM and if its very cold I can use an electric blanket
Looks badass. Is it still Chinese junk sourced from alibaba
This dude has the dead eyes of a serial killer!
That's because it is $55000!!!! Pass.
Nice trailer but 55k? 😢 I think I will stay with my tent for now for the weekend trips and overnight camping.
$55,000 for an over complicated expandable box. You can buy a decked out 30' used Airstream for that.
Like comparing apples to oranges. This is an offroad trailer intended to be used off-grid. Not at some RV park. You cannot take a 30' Airstream to the places I would take this.
How much?
Was expecting more inside kinda same industry interior design and too much grey tone for the price tag!! Need a company to make more of a unique interior design for me to drop bank like that! Beautiful rig just same same out of most these guys
At 4100# it’s too heavy for the best off road trucks. Not everyone wants a Gladiator
Any 1/2 Ton can handle it....👍
I don’t have a 1/2 tonne. I got a 2 door bronco. Max is 3300#@@Steve-yo4ld
Aaaaaand, no price!
$55K
😬@@patrickdahms1578
Single burner stove is a bummer!
Design a model that replace the bed on a truck and bolts to the frame.
How much
Only 55 grand?! What a bargain 🙄
Why does a small trailer need 50 amps and not 30 amps?
Also amazing trailer! Love it!
😂😂😂Its has a Exit sign above the door this trailer is behind of whats out there
Are these manufactured in China? You can see a Chinese influence in the build.
100%
Huh, fix any wiring issues if you have them. I would hope not.
If you overland, you know things will always break. Our trailers are designed to withstand trails that other campers could never imagine. Tribe's job is to make those repairs, when needed, quick, seamless, and easy for our customers to perform. If you plan for nothing to go wrong, everything does, stay prepared brother!
"it comes stock with.." definitely a car guy 🤣🤣🤣. "is equipped" "comes standard with"
ALOO WAT ITS DIS WC PUBLIC OFFROAD:)))
Air suspension break easily
Eyes
There's nothing about this camper to justify the price tag lmao you can get a great rv for that price .. ive seen it all now
What happens if someone lowers it while you are in it/asleep? And could you get out?
$55k
55K Fully loaded! everything you see comes with the trailer, no add-ons, no gimmicks!
Solar panels are expensive. They’re only used for NASA spacecraft. How can I obtain a solar panel? That’s designed to never come back? What am I going to do go to Mars? (This comment was published in the year 2004. The time when opportunity and spirit landed on Mars.)
Sorry, my son is autistic. He likes to think he’s in the past.
bet it is 50 k minimum to buy one
I’m surprised with all the high end things on this trailer….the stock batteries are AGM batteries. Boo. And that sink is crazy small.
55K & you cant do a dual burner stove or even select an option? Nah.
Only $55,000 dollars folks
It looks like a high tech prison cell on the inside.
I’ll defer to your experience.
$54,999?! Seriously? Where’s Ashton, I think I’m being punked
Price still high even sell my Diesel pusher Motorhome, i couldn't afford 1 of those + i would probably have to buy another vehicle just to tow it,No Thank You! 😢
Dry it’s coming in at 3,660 and curb weight at 4,100 lbs. still towable with my Toyota FJ Cruiser. That’s my plan hopefully. Price is a bit much, yes, but build quality much better than a 30’ Coleman and you can’t take those down a trail like this Ex500. IMO. Heck I’d love to be able to get the trailer and a new Tundra.
All I have to say is you can't really tell much about anything because the dang video looks like it's something from TV back in the 70s. Maybe it's just something with KZhead. Will check out the site.
$55,000.00 in case you were wondering LMMFAO!!!
Pretty good price considering a nicely equipped Escapod teardrop costs about the same.
@@Lex-Rex my first family home was $85,000 with a well on 1/3 of an acre
@@marcosromero3738 Congratulations. Probably in a undesirable state, but last time I checked it is not 1975 anymore, and you can't take your house traveling around the country.
@@Lex-Rex 2006
Who is the idiot that designed that lawsuit waiting to happen 💥
Price is too high! Good luck.
thank you!
Why does it look like of an ambulance interior 🤦really a depressing place to spend time you could use more of a rich and warm materiel ....
$55k 😂
😂😂 $55K yeah okay…..
This trailer has zero appeal for a normal family. The inside is painfully boring and AGM batteries is absolutely the wrong choice for any trailer. The beds do not seem well designed at all……so you are suppose to hold up the mattress with one hand, move the aluminum and access whatever you need from below????
too much junk on this trailer that is not what I would want in a trailer
The electric system, hater heater is the most trash set up for 55k 😂😂😂 can I buy the shell empty plz
Ridiculous price for not much!
eh pretty average tbh, must be american they have no idea how to make campers
Every comment here (except my reply to @michaelkennedy6415 below) has been constructive, giving thoughtful suggestions and the camper is wonderful! I have only one question that I keep forgetting to ask, why is it necessary to have a sink in the bathroom since there's already one in the galley?
What is the price
55K everything you see! we don't do any add-ons, you get everything included!
@@TribeOverlandTrailers The price in decent, however I see this more in the mid to high 40's in the current market. Also removing a lot of your redundant systems (3 sinks? why, plumed wet bath vs. outdoor shower and removable thetford porta-potty, two kitchens? why, only need one etc..) removing items like these would bring the price down without losing any functionality.
Who sells a caravan with agm batts in 2024. 2 x 100amp agm batts only gives you 100amps to play with as we all know you can only drop them down to 50%. And what you get for the price of this caravan its pathetic.
Not to mention the cycle life being an order of magnitude shorter than LFP at 80% DoD. I do like the style of this and I hope it encourages more MFGs to do similar builds
AGM batteries work well in extreme temperatures. They are incredibly robust, safe and reliable and were originally designed to be used in commercial aircraft. They are a good option here because of their rugged reliability. Pros and cons to all types.
@@ChopperChad AGM batteries are far from robust. If you are concerned about operating in the cold, buy self heating Lifepo4s which still come in at a fraction of the price per usable amp hour and longevity of the battery
There are plenty of affordable Lithium batteries that are good in all weather conditions. They lost me at AGM 😔
