    • Especially since that 2002 film went through more than 15 years of development hell before it finally got made, with big names supposedly attached. For years we heard that Cannon was making it, then James Cameron was, then Tom Cruise was going to be Peter Parker. Every time I heard the project was cancelled I was so disappointed. Then it finally got made and it was incredibly satisfying. Seeing this movie was like feeling that way again, and I don't get to feel that way too often anymore. New experiences and thrills are something to look back on.

And for Andrew they choose to use his first theme which was hated by the toxic andrew fan base as opposed to the amazing Spider-Man 2 which was loved by the toxic fan base of Andrew.

    • It honestly feels like their the same person but at different stages of life, Tom represents the energetic kid who gained his powers recently and is still on the heroic adrenaline and hasn't faced much setback until recent events, Andrew represents that stage of life where immaturity and maturity collide, being both mature as he has gone through dark times, he doesn't have the heroic adrenaline, but still holds passion for being a hero as he found light through hardship, Toby is like the final end result of all the hardship and growing Spider-man would go through, he is like a calm and restrained man who is still the lovable Peter Parker through humour and good-natured behaviour, but shows deep wisdom and empathy as an older gentleman would for a younger troubled man.

  • I like the detail in the Spider-Man reactions. Tom and his friends are surprised by the organic web but shortly move on as they live in a world where aliens, gods and magic exist. Andrew however is the most shocked and curious as he hasn’t experienced much crazy stuff in his universe. It really shows the difference between these Spider-Man and the worlds they live in

  • You can say what you want about Marvel, but no other franchise can make this possible in theater. The fandom and the cheering is truly something you don't want to miss! I always go on opening day because you are surrounded by the true fans!

  • Okay, even though Spider-Man (all of them but especially Tobey) is my favorite superhero I’m gonna say it: At 30:17 Doctor Strange is literally fixing holes in space-time and keeping the fabric of the universe together, and Peter chooses to get into a fight with a flying green elf🤣🤣

  • 22:49 "where's venom?" 100% feel that haha. if venom was in the actual movie it would've been perfect. i loved this movie but the only thing i was disappointed about was there was no sinister six or venom.. i was really expecting to see him in the movie. i was gassed as hell seeing eddie in the post credits scene, and i know marvel will bring us venom vs spiderman or venom & spiderman against a villain/villains but seeing venom was the only thing that was needed to make this movie PERFECT

    • Yeh but Venom had nothing to cure like what you gonna do ? You gonna play some rock star music to separate Venom from Eddie and lock him in a jar or something ? He’s not a villain so they can’t have him for Sinister Six, they could have bring in Mysterio from other universe though

  • My husband and I had a blast watching this in the theater. And this past January, we were able to meet Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio. I was wearing my Daredevil shirt, with both of them on it, and Charlie complimented it. It was so awesome. The next day at the convention, Jon Bernthal was there (he was there the day prior, but we ran out of time), so I had to see him again. That was an awesome convention

  • Everyone has to understand how meaningful Tobey and Andrew’s revelations were. So many recent movies, especially in the MCU have burned us with this type of stuff. Teasing us with potentially amazing characters and then dropping the ball. After all the Ralph Bohners and Trevor Slatterys the fact that they actually brought in Andrew and Tobey how they were was incredible. Not just how everyone wanted them to appear but done in a way that works outside of being pure fan service. It’s why people keep saying even after 2 years how unreal this movie still feels
