Wow guys, there is so much hatred for me here when literally everything I knew at this point was what's on screen. It didn't say nearly half of the info of what we know now. Unfortunately they failed to release all the info in the patch notes and we had to wait until the website was updated till we knew how bullshit it really was. I was live on stream briefly after it went all public and spoke about it but as I'm away I haven't had time to film any video or even read comments until now. BSG have made a huge mistake here. I don't agree with what they've done and if I knew everything at the time of filming this video I would of said exactly that.

@@kingstonkbeatsIts an offline version of the game. It’s as separate as arena is to tarkov. Arena came with eod. The offline mode of tarkov should come with EOD as well, as an offline mode to a game is usually an expansion, which qualifies as dlc.

Not considering this a dlc just because battlestate didnt label it as such is an irrelevant argument on semantics. EOD stated all future dlcs included. No matter how you look at it, EOD's value at the least wasnt clearly communicated and at the most intentionally misstated. Someone needs to pursue litigation against bsg for deceiving consumers. You could argue that its value wasnt clearly communicated or it was intentionally misstated. Both would hold up in court.

I have read a lot of comments about this "non dlc," and my social media is filled with it. I haven't seen one positive comment out of a thousand. This proves yet again that the general playerbase of the game don't have a say in these matters and that the devs don't care (I am not saying that content creators are happy either). We love this game, for many it is a literal escape from a stressful day, having fun with friends on an innovative game that is the best in it's class. Please Pestily, you get listened to by the devs and so many players, let them all hear our voices, and fix what can't be described as anything other than theft and lies. This is nothing short of outrageous and a mockery of what was one of the most loyal playerbase of all times until as of 10 hours ago.
So with this version you can choose to do a run with just your group or like regular with other players and pvp and the items you find in the pve runs can be used in pvp or is it a seperate mode with seperate stache that you can not use in the other mode?

you've been playing the game for 7 years and expect them to be able to support the servers for such a large online serverbase with 150 dollars on your end. For comparison, if you were playing nothing but Halo on an Xbox, the Xbox live membership would have cost you 280 bucks in the same timeframe. I've been playing for a similar amount of time, it's a slap in the face but not all too unexpected ngl. I'm not excited to pay for it but I'm still gonna buy it cuz I've personally been wanting an offline co-op mode with progression anyways.

EoD already gave you access to the PvE private servers in the current game, they even listed it as part of the extras you would get from EoD on the site. To then turn around and lock official PvE behind a new edition is a joke.

My rough draft solution: Make EOD features except for gold name available for purchase for everyone. Make Unheard features available for purchase by EOD players only. They still get their money, EOD players still feel special.

Unique radio-electronic item "Mark of The Unheard": The item is equipped in the special slot; The item gives a 50% discount when using cash services in raids; Insured equipment returns 30% faster; With 6+ Fence reputation, Scavs won’t shoot first at ranges over 60 meters away. Will be available with future updates: Ability to build a unique zone in the Hideout; Unique item "Distress signal device": When the item is activated, it produces a bright flash as well as a loud sound signal; Once activated, all players on your friends list will receive a notification that they can join your raid to help you.
Im betting that unique item functions as a nullifier for cultists, like the lightkeeper signal nullifies the claymores.

@@Joebauers2505 Respectfully, that's BS. I own EOD, not a mod. The version I bought was sold as the ultimate Tarkov edition. Now they've made it P2W and more attractive to big money cheaters. They have irrecovably retconned multiplayer game I bought into. Telling me to play a SP mod doesn't cut it when EOD owners are already around 130Euros in before they pull the rug out from under you - and then ask for another 100+Euros just to play a completly borked version of the game with the sort of P2W crap they promised they would never add now baked in.
I think quite a few Gray Zone Warfare players will be born from this update. I don't have very many regrets in life, but supporting Nikita is definitely one of them!

I watched some streamers play Gray Zone and I love how they did the faction system better than Tarkov. There's another game called Incursion: Red River which is very early in development, but is basically the Tarkov 'coop with friends no wipe mode,' and it only costs about $20 right now.
@@JustinPardue Gray zone already has more content in closed alpha than tarkov ever had in their first open beta. Compared to tarkov Gray zone needs to address bugs and they have product that can be released, while tarkov literally had jack shit in it back in 2017. And it was an asset flip of Contract wars.
Once gray zone actually gets content and good, 'd love to check it out. At least they're trying to push this extraction genre to the next level while BSG is still doing the same shit they started out with years ago.

It's not even just the Unique items (which seem absolutely busted) it's all the rest of it compounded together that's just insane to me. The free junkbox/cases, the flea market rep and the extra pocket slots so you can carry mags. Everyone that has this addition will be loading up early wipe with no rig because there's no need for one now, extra mag in your pocket with spares in your bag and you're all good now. This game edition will make character progression and even late game so un-believably different for those that buy it and those that don't. I had so much fun playing this game when I first got it so I bought the most expensive edition of the game to support the devs. Years later this is the outcome of it.. If I want to be on the same playing field as a lot of the player base I'll have to spend over $160 Canadian to upgrade from my already owned most expensive edition to do so? ..Really? The Devs have to be so wildly disconnected from it's community to pull something like this and honestly I'm over it. I don't want to end up sounding dramatic but I can't see myself wanting to play a game that I know the players I'm playing against have a sizable advantage over me and I also can't see myself accepting that this is fine and buying it.. so I guess I'm done playing for the foreseeable future. I don't think any game will fill the Tarkov void but oh well. Good luck in your raids everyone!
I'm going to echo what others have already said: It's ridiculous that we paid $150 for a game under the pretense that all content will be included only for that to become a lie. I also think it's ridiculous that, with the new edition, players can have larger pockets. The extra two slots might not be a huge deal, or it might shake things up significantly. EoD was pay to win, sure, but at least all of the content it gave players was unlockable later in the game (the Gamma container being an exception, but at least Kappa was still better and available for standard accounts). It's also terrifying that players will be able to join a raid in progress to back you up with the new distress signal system. Imagine taking out half a squad only for 3 more guys to show up. That's going to facilitate infuriating gameplay. I understand that video games are becoming more expensive, but a $250 edition of a game is absolutely ludicrous. BSG has come out with a genre-defining game that still hasn't been matched by a competitor, and they have sold an immense amount of copies. As far as I know, they work with a small team relative to the game's success, and paired with lower labor costs in Russia, I can't imagine where their expenses are going. This really seems like a money grab. I had faith BSG was trying to gain some goodwill after last year's cheater debacle, what with the interviews with Pestily and what not, but this is absurd.

I have the eod version and I love tarkov but when my friends stopped being my friends and I had no one to play with I just kinda stopped I even spent a whole wipe only playing with my scav so yes I am gonna by the new edition or whatever just so I can start playing by myself and not have to worry bout dying every raid to three and four man teams

Unfortunately they're figuring out the hard way why you release a complete game first and then proceed with the extra dlc and modes. Ive just lodged a formal complaint with them. As soon as i get a formal complain registration number, I will wait for the required 2 weeks for them to give me a refund. Otherwise ill push it to the Trade Standards offices. The more of us do this the better. Even considering taking them to small claims court here in UK.

I have 3 friends I regularly play with, one of which is a standard account like myself and the other 2 both have EOD. We all banter back and forth about pay to win and how unfair it is mostly as jokes although we all understand there is a slight pay to win advantage, especially with the alpha container vs gamma. Regardless, it's not enough for us to stop playing the game for or anything. We don't mind being at a slight disadvantage. But now we are no longer at a slight disadvantage. If I don't drop my rent on this new version, the game is going to be really tough even more so than before.

You can upgrade your stash space, get trader rep, get kappa container, etc. What you CAN'T do, is unlock bigger pockets, summon friends from your friendlist into a live raid, get 50% cheaper services in raid, 30% faster insurance returns, more time on trader mail, and a bigger (10x72) stash.
For anyone who wants this same experience that should have came with your EOD. 1. Install SPT aki (buy the base game before dont pirate) 2.Install SIT manager for Co-op (I host my own co-op server on my dedicated game hosting server) 3. Connect with friends and not get Effed over by BSG

A shitload of game breaking bugs there. I've been in and out of SPT/SIT for more than a year now. It's getting better but it's still very VERY frustrating at times. The performance drop on big maps as more bots spawn is also horrendous.

EOD should get access to the offline coop with progression as well, if not everything new version has. Game is not even released yet and they have better edition than EOD. Legally speaking BSG is in hot water. Even if you use the way back machine. The E.O.D Version stated in plain text that the version gives you the season pass and every expansion created for Tarkov. That would include anything else BSG may create including an offline PvE mode as well the Arena version. The fact they gave Arena to E.O.D already sets a preset that any DLC content including the expansions would be covered by E.O.D. The Offline Co-op not being covered under the EOD and in fact creating a new 250 dollar Unheard version without even giving all E.O.D owners a free upgrade would 100% run afoul of EU laws and even US laws. Sure they can argue that the ToS changes and subject to change would not hold up in court if this was brought into light to the EU's consumer affairs. In short BSG may be forced to give all E.O.D members free upgrade or allow E.O.D members to return the game no matter how old their account is because it is a breach. You can say "well they are russian" well EU can full stop block all transactions to their company, freezing their assets and overall force BSG to pull the game off the digital shelves.
I've only ever had standard because I play solo and this game usually tilts me and I quit by level 25 every wipe (if I even play) for one reason or another. I was considering this for the offline prog, but 250$? Insane. I hope they add offline prog for everyone. I think that's an unpopular opinion, but at the end of the day at least people would be playing the game and not just quitting. And there's no skirting around this with delusions.. pay to win with a crazy price point. Anyone who plays this game a decent amount is going to feel stupid for not getting this and BSG knew that when they made it.

I've got several friends who've been waiting for years hoping BSG would put out a PVE, CO-OP Offline Mode. They said if they ever do that, they'd buy a copy immediately. I get the feeling when I tell them that mode costs $250, they're going to change their mind. What the hell, man, why can't all editions get access to that? They finally add it, after all these years, and restrict it like this? I admit, that hurts.

If people were calling EOD pay2win because of the increased stash size, this is LITERALLY pay2win for not needing to bring rigs in on certain loadouts and having more ability to loot in real time in the raids (not even counting the tangible advantage through skills like aim drills, covert movement, stamina etc)

They should have given EOD players this edition for free or an insanely cheap price. Pay to Win aside, $100 upgrade is criminal to those who have payed for the initial package and was promised they would get everything afterwards. Sure, I am relatively indifferent to them selling it at $250 but this just feels like they're strong arming people into coming and playing the game with all of these crazy upgrades. The EOD community absolutely needs to be vocal about this and THEY absolutely need to make changes.

I like how they said "there is never going to be a CO-OP with Progression", because i was very interested in that, and would've loved to see it. Both for myself but also for others who might prefer that over the regular PvEvP. But they said no. And then i swear they saw Gray Zone gaining hype, and Gray Zone is gonna offer PvE only servers. Now we get it but you have to pay for it. That's kinda crazy to me.
Yup this is the world we live in, what we can do about this? Nothing but don't get me wrong i would love to see a law or something that bans microtransactions DLCs and all that because no game benefits from those at all to be honest. Unless the DLC really is like an expansion to the game like in old days where you would get an actual new game when buying an expansion.

It's been clear for a while now how bad BSG is as a studio but now it's just undeniable, it's staring everyone right in the face. No one should support these people. The studio deserves to fail and go under. People wonder why people like Putin or Trump are in power and have strong supporters. Well, you're looking at the way and the reason that shit gets that bad. It's just a game at the end of the day. Regardless of how much we may like it or want to like it it's not worth it.
