A Few Corrections! - GroundZero is actually level 20 and below (I said 15) but will be separated into 2 different queues (1-15 and 16+) at some point in the future. - I also forgot to mention how important headsets are in game! Basically you should always have one on if possible. Just try them all and see which ones you like the best!
Jessie keybinds Keybinds Show your keybinds
I have died many times as a low level on ground zero by myself or teaching friends how to play to lvl 15-19s with lvl 4-5 armour and good ammo.
You explained scav karma in the exact same way 3 times in a row, I thought I was going crazy
same
Fried
he forgot to cut the bad takes i guess lol
Yeah, longer videos your brain is fried after editing, so that happens sometimes 😂
HAHAHA i just got to this part xD
Hope you enjoy the guide! Remember to stop by the stream and hop in the Discord!
Ur the goat Jesse
Discord is top notch. Especially for LFG purposes.
You can also lose the cultist knife however this is an excellent video, I have about 2500 hours and I wish this was around when I started.
Hey jesse, not a big deal just wanted to remind ya that the flea market section is labeled as “flee market”
even though i have 500+ hours and knows most of the mechanics quite ok i always watch these videos by u just to make sure im not forgeting some and also i share it with friends of mine who are not so educated… thanks a lot for ur effort
Step 1. Accept pain. Everybody and their mother are way ahead of you in everything at this point. Step 2. After acceptance just play it as a hardcore horror survival game. That is basically what it is for the next year. Step 3. Enjoy the small amounts of success you have and celebrate every small victory. Then suffer some more.
i love pain
I havent seen much on the game before this last 2 weeks, whats the issue?
@@tj32408 true
bro this is golden thanks i smiled a bit lol
I play R6 all I know is Pain
I skimmed through so not sure if it was mentioned (knowing Jesse, I'm sure it was somewhere) BUT, get used to using CTRL + L Click (anything you don't wear or hold) and ALT + L Click (anything you wear or hold) for looting, it speeds up your time being vulnerable while looting by a million. Playing with one of my friends recently who only has like 30 hours and his biggest detriment by FAR was looting speed after a kill. I'd be waiting 45 seconds+ just for him to take a gun and a few items. Use hotkeys and keybinds, there's a ton of them in this game but most of them are absolutely worth knowing and using. Also, set discard to a better keybind like an extra mouse button, being able to drop something in a fraction of a second compared to right clicking and pressing discard or looking for delete on your keyboard is a life saver, trust me.
I would also recommend changing discard from delete to lshift+left click. Much faster when looting
Alt f4 auto searches and immediately reveals items so you don't have to wait the 2-3 seconds an item.
@@justofficial8093 If you do like this, you lose the shortcut (shift + left click) to teleport the items to the sorting table in the Stash. Because of this, I assigned Caps key + left click to discard.
@@DerekOQuinn-tf5my you stupid
@@justofficial8093careful with this, as I’m pretty sure shift left click is how you add stuff to the sorting table in your stash as well
It's good to listen to a beginner guide from time to time, just to remind myself of systems I might have forgotten or just refresh knowledge. Even if I can't use most of it.
Amazing video, can't thank you enough for the time and effort! Did not know crafting in hideout counts as found in raid, also you explained the compatible with/linked search path in a way that made me understand it finally. Much love!
Amazing how far you come. I remember being there when you became partner on Twitch. Happy for you and all of the success. Well deserved and earned.
Great videos Jesse. There's a lot of guide videos out there but I can't really find a thorough one on clearing an area for that last rat lurking around when you have taken out his teammates. Would be great to see a guide dealing with this problem. Keep up the good work.
A few years ago this original video brought me into Tarkov. I don't play all the wipes, but whenI do these videos help me get back up to speed. Thanks!
2000hr player here, happily watching this entire video lol. I learned something too. Took a minute, but I realized I can actually totally utilize the Flea Wishlist better. Wishlist my meta stims and ammos, cuz I gotta rebuy those pretty often. Probably other things too. Hell yeah.
One of my favorite things to do with the Flea Wishlist is to actually have a bunch of the very pricey items in there, and I save them up in my stash. Then, I sell when they are high, checking after each Raid I do. For instance… Motors, usually sell for around 80-90k, but, they routinely go up to 140k…. That’s literally almost double. So I’ll save 10 motors up, wait for them to hit 140k. Then, if I need to buy them, I’ll wait until they are low. Wishlist is really nice. Did the same thing with 7.62x39 PS, shit hit 1,200 ea and I sold over 1,000 of them LOL.
I have a few hundred hours in Tarkov but it's been a couple years since I played. This video was a great reminder on some things and an awesome way to learn about new features.
1:28 Importatnly if the time runs out you dont even get insured items back. You can however trow them on the ground before the time runs out.
this is great, this is my 2nd wipe and I kinda knew all of this stuff already, but I picked up tips and ill be more informed next time I get a chance to play. This video is also really clear and something I wish Id watched when I first started playing, thanks Jesse
Tarkov is what the 'Division I' wishes it was
Division never wanted anything to be like Tarkov I would have killed the experience
Division is still a great game, but not even close gameplay wise to Tarkov. I don't get it.
The editing ghost squid thing that popped up when you made a mistake or needed to provide clarity, was awesome. Good shit.
Siiiick. I was hoping you would do another one of these! Your last one was a saving grace for me when I first started playing and learning this game a year ago! Hopefully this update can help many more. Thanks for all the amazing content jesse!
Very comprehensive, wish I had a guide as good as this back when I first started! Cheers Jesse
Cheers Pizzaman. We all absolutely appreciate your hard work and efforts with making tarkov content. I try and watch as many of your videos as much as I can, and to try replicate what you do in certain situations, I almost have 400 hours on the game and I feel like I still struggle with alot of things that I should know already, but now this video exist and I'm going to be using it to my advantage and to try get better. Thanks again Jesse ❤
nice work! im going to show this for my beginner friends
Huge Thank you Jesse! You are doing amazing service for newcomers and fans of Tarkov!
1:17:00 love that he explains scav karma multiple times
I just caught that, too
Thank god been waiting for this! Needed this for the most recent patch!
Here we go awesome to see this updated.
Thank you so much! The last time i played was in 2017…. This helped me a lot to start again!
I enjoyed the video and think the information is useful. This comment is intended to be constructive only for possible future videos. The video formatting feels like it is intended for people who took a break and came back or this is their 2nd wipe. While all the information is useful, I don't know how much of it a brand new player would understand vs a player who already has baseline experience and is looking to understand the mechanics of the game more in depth. In a video intended for brand new players, I would have loved to see the the game broken down into 'chapters' with each chapter breaking down the next step. Ex: -how to get into a raid (what goes on your pmc) -what do you do in raid (different ai, how to loot/extract, what the different symbols on your screen mean, how healing works) -you survived/died, whats next (loosing gear, healing with therapist, selling items you found) After going through the base gameplay loop, other topics can be addressed either in a follow up video (new player series) or in later sections (if the goal is to have one source for everything you need). Ex: -you can get in and out of raid, whats next (questing) -you hit level 15 (flee market) -what can you do outside of PMC raids (scav raids, hideout) Side note: I recommend avoiding terms like 'obviously' in beginners guides. Something that is obvious to experienced players isn't always obvious to new players
would u recommend a video that is formatted like this
very helpful, thank you so much man! would have never known half of this stuff without this guide
Glad you updated this. I often link your video to new players. 👍
6th wipe and ive watch every one of these guides lol
Brand new player here, thank you so much for this, so helpful! Looking forward to getting stuck in.
You just opened my eyes to stash and flea market uses so much thank you Jesse!
I know everything in this video already but listening to Jesse for 1 1/2 hours is just really nice :D Thanks for the amazing Guide ! I'm sure a lot of new players will get lots of information out of it
Thanks man I put so far 80 hrs into my first ever wipe of tarkov I’m enjoying the game!
Thank you Jesse, this is very helpful for my friends that want to get into Tarkov. Now it's easier to convince them to play with me!
Thanks for this, been away for a few years and everything is very different since last time i played.
Great video man! Thank you very much for the indepth resource!
thanks for the vet advice, my first week on tarkov. brutal but loving it.
I was just amazed when you went in depth with the modding of guns :o
Great overview, thanks!
thanks for making such a detailed guide
As always probably the best info dump on this game. Well constructed and well explained
Thanks for this GREAT video! I've been out of Tarkov for a couple of years and trying to get back in, starting today.
I recently uploaded a beginners guide for this game and seeing the difference from mine to yours is nice to learn what I can imporve on as a whole. Great guide though we all appreciate the work that went into this! 🔥
I liked your video yo, friend just gifted me the game yesterday
@@AUG_Glow thanks man I appreciate it! Hope you enjoy tarkov and have a solid time with it!
thanks bro this really helped
Good timing, both of my younger brothers are looking to get into Tarkov. I'll have to share this with them
raiding with your brothers would be awesome man
Very awesome tips I’ve been playing for a couple months now and this helps a lot!!!
700 hours in and I still learned alot especially regarding the UI. Appreciate it Jesse.
I have 1000 hours in EFT and loved the vid. Definitely going to be sending any friends that get into the game to your video, very informative and you didn't get super detailed into anything that would really overwhelm a new player (outside of the overall info dump that they need to know)
Thank you for this amazing video, this is my second wipe and now i know my way a little but very very very good video.
I was hoping this was coming soon. Thanks Jesse!
it's crazy to see the growth on this channel. lots of hard work, you deserve every single subscriber. 👏👏
Thanks so much for the incredibly helpful video, Jesse. I bought EFT a year ago and never really played. Decided to start today and your video was crucial. I just wish I had watched it before I went MIA on my first scav run! 😂
thanks brother as a new player this health system explained helps a lot
Thanks for the informative video.
Thanks alot for this video!
Thanks for the in-depth guide! I'm jumping in tonight, bring on the pain!
First time playing EFT. This guide has helped out tremendously. Got a sub from me, thank you! Hope to see more on this!
Amazing video thanks!
Didn't even watch the video yet but already: thanks for the hard work that went in to it ❤
Hey perfect timing, just started playing today
amazing beginners guide thanks alot, made it much less complicated
I was reluctant to spend an hour and a half watching this video since most long guides I've found are boring and take too long to get to the point, but I'm glad I took the time. This video covered a lot of questions I had about the game at just the right pace. Thanks!
damn bro, in depth. nice work Jessie
This is clear beginner guide ever! Thank You!
Very good job in depth tutorial I was looking for helps a lot thumb up
This video has been a lifesaver as a new player. Thank you for putting in the time and effort.
an amazing video for someone who just started yesterday, thanks for the info
Awesome video as always! Great work dude!
I actually played up to level 7 or 8 and wanted to reset since i have better knowledge of ground zero now. So thats the plan and this came at a perfect time
Don't forget bears get shot on sight by rogues! And you might prefer one factions clothing, just leaving it there for ya
Yesss this is what I needed
This is my 4th wipe, but i still watch the beginner videos. Never stop learning!
Thank you so much brother. This video is helpful for me because I'm new in this EFT game 😅
great guide man!
Great vid, still learned a few things even with 2 years of playing the game under my belt
great vid!! thanks for sharing this!!!!
Thank you for making these videos! I recently started playing SPT so I can learn the game and the maps without loosing everything and get frustrated and your videos have been super helpful! So many Tarkov guides/videos are too vague or is good info if you already know everything about Tarkov
Ohhh don’t worry, you’ll get frustrated my friend
It's a life saver for learning the maps and learning the gunplay. I don't think I coulda played normal tarkov without SPT
KZhead just did the 4+ unskippable ads thing again guys, please be safe out there
Very good video man finally watched the whole thing and it taught me a lot man granted this is my first wipe I got above lvl 10 I’m currently a 21 the other 2 wipes I played never played past lvl 5 n this video helped a lot man good content !!
Hope this video blows up Jesse , appreciate all your hard work
Great video Jesse!
Ohh wow didnt know you could sort tasks by map! Nice! ❤
Thank you Jess
Thanks for doing these. You are a great person with top tier content.
Great vid need this for all my new friends. Also Z13 is conditional open. It's always available but open u need to turn power on.
great vid jesse. now i have assurance that whenever i got a quest item, i made sure to do some looting or scav shooting or at least 7 mins run time; no wonder the morphine stims i brought back for the therapist quest was deemed not found in raid. =/
I just started playing and the only thing I can add for other new players is to just get in and play live raids. PMC, scav, whatever. You're gonna die. It is what it is. Getting in and trying to get out is the best way to learn imo. I've been spending my first wipe entirely devoted to just learning and not worrying super hard about quests, gear, money, survives, etc. If I die, I die. Go next.
You also get xp for healing after raid using in stash meds. So it's not only cheaper, but also more beneficial in the long run as far as levelling up.
I have 4k hours and I enjoy the refresher of these videos. Thanks
Bumping this up. ❤ For the new PMC's❤
So much time and effort for our free viewing pleasure. Thank you jesse :)
Back finally watched the whole thing lmao hadda to get the kid to knock but this was a very good informational video man sent it to a bunch of my buddys that started playing tarkov this wipe thanks for saving me the time of having to explain all this lol
I see a lot of hate for ground zero but I honestly think it’s great. I started the last wipe and only got to level 15 with a total of 2 pmc kills. I just kept getting chadded on every raid. Now I’ve been playing again for two days and have several pmc kills almost every ground zero raid. I took out my first two man today in a firefight, and even though I ended up succumbing to my injuries later on it still felt damn good. Ground zero is great for learning the map, player spawns and how quests work. Thumbs up from me
This was the video you were talking about on the podcast !! Hoping this is a banger of a video I’ll get back to you at the end lol
wow i have 6k hours, and i just now learned about the surgical kits giving you different hp amounts! thanks!!
Jesse I dont even play this game but I watched your level 15 with kedr video found it entertaining and now I'm here.
Thank you so much for the amazing video dude! Just started playing yesterday and instantly felt overwhelmed. And I've played games like DayZ and Arma, so that kinda says something! I did learn a lot from your video though and I feel a lot more confident going into a raid now that I know at least a lot of the basics that will help me survive. Hope to see yu out on the field and I HOPE it's not at the other end of your barrel xD Stay safe out there and happy hunting!
great video tank you very much !
Thanks for this! I'm a true noob to this game, and these videos are going to help me a lot... just subbed, too. 👍
Great video!
Great video thanks duuuuuuuuuuuuude!
