I see no fighter who enjoys parties and fancy clothes beating those fully committed warriors . You've to outwork them in the gym to even have a chance standing against such domination.

Uriah exits the clinch and Petr shoots a knee up as a counter (which I feel like we see a lot, very simple stuff), but in a split second due to Uriah being too far away, he snaps it into what looks like a hybrid lead front kick/switch round kick. • We knew jan would be Defeated eventually I think. With that said I do like the personality of Jan as a champion. Super humble, knows he got that power punch you know. But, I think when glover was cranking on his neck, maybe it was a shot he took or some of the ground game, Jan showed that his neck or jaw was compromised. Like besping said Jan did not like him cranking upward. When glove was on top. Anyway, I think what ever was going on is why Jan tapped so fast. Maybe I’m crazy lol

    • Khabib victories are more impressive, he was able to dominate his opponents for all 3 or 5 rounds, showing everything he can do and what he is capable of. Yes, Chimaev is maybe more entertaining but undefeated record with all finishes in first or second round is not a real sign of someone's quality. We still have to see him in fights for 3 rounds, 5 rounds, how he reacts when he faces a problem, when things are not going at his favor at first, that's how you know how really good someone is.

  • Always enjoy listening to your take, a couple of things I'd mention. First, I think Jan tapped and looked the way he did, because Glover had really drained Jan in the first round. He looked slow with his hands down, and he tapped quickly, I think, because he didn't have much left. The other name to mention in the young guns on the rise, with Khamzat, and Islam is Jiri Prochazka. I think that young man is the future of the Light Heavyweight Division. I can't see Glover defending the title, he'll either retire or lose the next one in my opinion, and then Jiri is going to be the next Champ. What I'd really like to see is Jiri take the title, and then Jon Jones comes back down to 205 to see those two fight. I think Jones is beatable now, I thought he lost the fight to Dominic Reyes, and I'd love see him and Jiri go.
