  • Also i think it's important to remember that Poirer is an elite level fighter, he's been so much more active than conor and has evolved so much as a fighter. I think the trilogy will be great for Conor as we can see how much he can evolve as a fighter and forget the boxing bouts as he can't just go between the best mma and boxers and expect to walk through them, I hope Conor comes back better as I believe he will.

Alvarez he would have his hands low touching the right arm of Alvarez to easily control the arm as it is the closest arm to him and then be able to counter of it. Connor vs southpaw means his lead left arm would have to reach across his body to control Dustin’s lead arm so if he had his hands down the lead arm of Connor will be controlling and touching thin air also Dustin’s right hand is uniquely his power hand so it would be extremely dangerous to go in hands down with the chance of a quick lead right hook from Dustin going for a non protected face

Dustin should fight Charlie Olives next for the belt, they should not tie up the division another 6 months for a Conor trilogy. The other option is put Chandler vs Oliveira for the belt if Dustin wants that Conor money trilogy. I honestly think both Chandler and Oliveira would school Conor after this recent performance. Flat footed, totally forgot how to fight, and the ego of just showing up and walking down a dog of a fighter is not going to cut it. Looking forward to more fight coverage, previews/post fight breakdowns of the big name title bouts etc and for the record would love to see more content geared toward guys, mental health, relationships, dealing with work, health and fitness and just how to put up with alot of the bs in modern day society, and navigating the obstacles we all face. • @@bingbong6127 I think he was motivated, just past his best tbh. Chael sonnen had a similar take

    • No it isn't, because it creates a narrative that Conor didn't work hard for this fight and so he wasn't 100%. Which only takes away from what Dustin did. The truth is Dustin had a better gameplan and exploited one of Conor's weaknesses. It wasn't that Conor wasn't himself. It's that Dustin was better.

  • It's great seeing Brian boxing training but i'd love to see him do a few mma/bjj/wrestling classes for him to feel how those arts feel for greater appreciation when watching/commentating

  • Trouble is there isn't really a 'defense' for calf kicks. Almost impossible to check clean, hard to get out of the way of. Will be interesting to see how he adjusts
