  • This song brought me to my knees and knocked the breath out of me. These lyrics articulated my entire experience over the past two years. Only, mine was from the man's perspective. This song captured all the significant nuances of my experience; all the layered disappointment and desperation; the complete struggle; the eventual acceptance of bitter defeat; and then, the ultimate deeper understanding of my role as a lover and power in my truth and willingness to be vulnerable. This resonated deeply. This was a powerful experience.

  • Her most confident song. Of. All. Time. How do I know this? The very end when she extemporaneously says “One more time” and cues the band to run the verse back again. She was in total control of her life story, possibly for the very first time in that moment.... and it was RECORDED!! Y’all might not realize but I actually feel like Adele saying “One more time” to her band is actually a life changing moment for her - literally, personally. In that very moment she found her true strength. And we are so lucky to be able to have that moment shared with us.

For example Aretha,Whitney, Mariah, Celine, Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson and many more are better than Tori and Adele. And Pink, Leona Lewis,Jessie J, Ariana Grande are as good as Tori and TECHNICALLY better than Adele. However not all of them (especially the latter people) can convey emotions like Adele which is what Adele does best. There are soooo many great singers in the world, but unfortunately not all of them get the recognition that Adele has. There's no such thing as the queen of vocals in the music industry.
