Just listened to this for the first time in years, it still breaks my heart. My Son was ill with his mental health when it was first out, he's recovered now and doing amazing. But 3 times I almost lost him, 3 times I had my heart ripped out from me. I used to play this to him all the time, telling him he was my absolute world and that I would walk over hot coals and bang on every door to get him better. Eight years later, he thanked me for never giving up.
Mothers are so strong, I don’t know what I’d do without my mom. I’ve struggled with my mental health for a while. I didn’t tell anyone for a long time, but one day I decided to tell my mom and she prayed with me and always encourages me to fight trough everything. Both me and your son are blessed with the best thing we could have asked for, a great mother. Im sure your son is so very grateful and feels an un describable love for you just like I do for my mom. You deserve all the thanks ☺️

+Patrik Radelj it's more the strength and the depth of tone in her voice which makes her a great singer, not the number of octaves. I just didn't know she could hit a note like that, her range in 19 and 21 wouldn't suggest she could. And even when Hello came out I thought she was scraping at the top of her range. So when she belted that note in this song I was really shocked.

Why are people saying this note is the highest she has ever done, it isn't. I hear a D5 which can be heard in multiple other songs of hers: i.e. One and Only or her cover of Fool That I Am. The highest mixed voice note I have heard Adele sing is an E5/Eb5 in Someone Like You. Hello goes up to a B4 in chest/mix and a G5 in falsetto (which isn't staggering considering most baritones can hit that note.) But anyway, she is starting explore her range more which is good to see. But no matter what, her tone is everything :3

This song really had me crying out loud. I am having trouble facing the all inevitable experience of aging. I never really had the chance to be reckless as a kid, due to life's circumstances chaning my view of life at a very young age. I am getting back into singing and am starting to take requests from family and friends. One of them chose this song and I have to say, this will be one of the hardest songs to learn, not just musically, but mentally. I can only hope to get through what I am going through so I can sing this for her. What a deep song.
