I’m still envious of their way of life. I’m glad that I live in a southern state, and not in a big city, so the people I’m around are all pretty grounded people. Lots of city goers can’t see the beauty in nature and simplicity.

I drank it in one go, and he was perplexed.. said "You deserve a dollar for that!" I was rich, rich I tells ya.. that was like 10 bags of mix lollies back in 1979.

But :) When I peel a lemon, yah, I do get looks. haha, mouth watering, tangy, delicious. Mix one squeezed lemon with one squeezed orange, and it removes some of the mouth sour, but it's sooooo good. :)

    • Yeah, that’s how communities/tribes work… it’s sort of a form of political spectrum, but I’m not that educated on socialism/communism. Either way, they all work together for a common goal. Tribes will still fight obviously, but colonialism and all that really changed things. Conquest became a thing. Industry and advancement. While these people stuck to their roots, and have no reason to change. They’re not on this earth for profit, nor to force someone else under their thumb. (A lot of them aren’t anyways). I’m glad you realize this!

Hell they could of been hunting buddies. I think your complicating sharing from a peer to another peer with system controlled governments. Which is completely irrelevant. And communism and tribes do not work in a more advanced society with a larger population. The bigger the government and population, the more corruption there will be. That is a given. I do believe that the U.S. should embrace more socialism in health care though. That is something we still are ass holes about.

  • I love sweets or candy as you say. My Polish grandad called sweets - "spice". I am a bushcrafter too though, so I know what meat cooked over a wood fire tastes like. It's super hard to pick between the 2.

    • Just met a coworker today and she said they same thing about me 😊. She's from Benin and fluent in French. I had a billion things running through my head. Feel bad that I dont want to hang out w/ her but wasn't really planning on staying at my job either. Almost wanted to cry when she told me how she grew up. But no matter what I say, I still think I prob come off as an ignorant american... which im not... soooo, I just talked about other things. 😔🤷🏻‍♀️ I do need more mommy friends tho. She prob would've never realized how we actually had some things in common.
