    • All the stuff he does, if a scientist would just try and get something from him, blood samples or what not. they can build antibodies for the immune system. It’s crazy what he does. But sample’s degrade and it depends what he got stung with, just curious to see what the human antibodies do after. And if it makes ppl more resilient.And it would be interesting if ppl monitor his health, , I know that sounds crazy. But take ‘em and find out what other harm some disease is. Every time I watch him, I’m like ohhh nooo! And I, clenched, but also wonder if it’s doing the body better after or worse. Of course don’t go and get bitten by things, he’s a pro and takes care.

      @fatsuperfly@fatsuperfly4 ай бұрын
    • @@fatsuperfly well King Mithridates took some much arsenic (diluted in small doses) over the course of his life because he was always paranoid of being poisoned that when the Romans came and he wanted to commit suicide by ingesting arsenic he couldn't because he became immune to it and had to ask a soldier to cut his head off or stab him. That's how you mainly train the immune system into becoming prepared to deal with like everything and also why staying in a sterile bubble is detrimental because all you do is make yourself so weak that you die by the most common flu/pathogens. Heck, at that point even stuff that is only conditionally-pathogen and only becomes an issue with severe AIDS and AIDS-like syndromes will become a life threatening issue. While this guy doesn't get stung on a daily basis by the same insect, he got bitten by so many insects that he definitely has an improved resistance compared to us common folk.

I get that a lot of people want to see the action, but there isn't a part to me that's the "real entertainment." The whole video is entertaining!

Bloodworms are the species I grew up working with, but the clam worm is probably my favorite among these guys.
