I love cryptid documentaries and things like that, especially when conducted by professional educators such as yourselves, but please don't go down the clickbait route. It might inspire more clicks, but it's not very respectable and is definitley kind of scummy. That being said, the actual video itself is fun and interesting, and the reinactment is a cool little movie. I think just the title 'searching for bigfoot' would have been fantastic.

This is a prop from a scene from a movie. Can’t remember the movie off hand but it was about a professor who took a few students on a camping trip to search for BigFoot. The professor finds the. Skull partially buried in the stream.

I like Coyote, but the stings aren't as bad as he makes out. I've been stung by a Bullet Ant and it's painful, but not to the extent Coyote portrays. You should also check 'Jack's World of Wildlife'. Jack gets stung by all the same insects as Coyote and you can see then the show Coyote puts in for the camera

If that skull had really been laying in the ground for a while, there would much more mud caked around and inside it. Looks like it was placed in the mud and covered up for a few days at most.

This channel used to be about entertaining education. Coyote even made it a point to discuss how much he cared about preservation and education about wildlife. Then we get stuff like this. This used to be one of my favorite channels on KZhead, it's sad to see. Deception ruins credibility regardless of the severity of that deception.

Right near Mt St Helens is Skookum Meadows, not far from Swift Reservoir and Eagles Cliff.
I used to live, in Commiefornia....and ran around the woods, whenever my parents took us camping. Playing around, in the burnt hollows of trees, was common for me. When I grew older, my nephews did the same. It's no "Portal". As I've now gotten older, and know what I do, there is no way, I'd run around the woods, solo, as I did as a lad!

Saw the post about "smuggling through customs and TSA", which means it had to go through a scanner if TSA was involved. Hard to believe TSA wouldn't have picked up the skull going through a scanner. Going to be tough to come out of this one clean, even if it is a prank.

There has actually been security people who had permission try to sneak items through TSA, multiple times they snuck through guns, with no problem. It's actually kind of frightening how incompetent they are.

@Unintentional Failure I once went right through security in Thailand with a Thai enep in my carry on backpack. Think of a large curved knife like a kukri, 12 inches long. I actually realized I had it on me and panicked and went back and gave it to security because I didn't want problems down the road changing planes etc. Didn't get into any trouble since I turned it in and was honest. Wish I would have packed it properly though, it was a cool knife.

The skull found could be a gigantopithecus skull. They were from the Pleistocene ice ages. Gigantopithecus thrived in the tropical forests of what is now southern China for six to nine million years. But around 100,000 years ago, at the beginning of the last of the Pleistocene ice ages, it went extinct-because in the changed climate its size had become a fatal handicap, a new study suggests. Or a different ape similar to the Gigantopithecus.
Why would it be found in North america?
Nah, bro. Look at the back of the skull. The shape of that crest is unique to gorillas. Also the only fossils of gigantopithecus that have been found have been teeth and jaws. And they lived in Asia. And were much bigger. On top of that, the gorilla skull was planted there for the video.

Y'all got everything he teased and showed, y'all saw the skull, he never claims it to be real, and bigfoot as creature, he never claimed it was real, although he did claim he'd hope for it be real because cool new primate species. He also gave you guys information about bigfoot, and didn't make any statements in the title or thumbnail, so he didn't lie about anything. At 10:12 he says it's hypothetical, and the description even says it. So where's the clickbait?
My grandpa had several Bigfoot stories but there was one that never changed. He told the story both to me and dad and it never really changed until he got dimentia. Anyway, he was in the Sierra Nevada mountains driving down a road in the middle of the night. He saw this large ape walking across the road so he stops and grabs his gun but the thing just looks at him and bears it’s teeth so he thought “ That’s a mf you don’t want to mess with” so he turns around and leaves. But my grandpa hung out w the Hells Angels in the past and was associated with them and nothing really scared him but every time he told that story you can tell the fear in his face and his voice

Truly and that's such a disappointing concept, cause I realized how his real fans aren't his real fans at all. Y'all got everything you were promised, video is about bigfoot and he talks and shares information about bigfoot, all I see is an animal enthusiast for a potential hidden primate species. He never claimed in the video bigfoot is real but he does claim that he hopes it is. He also showed the skull from the thumbnail so what's the issue?? Title never said they found it, it's not a statement at least so it can't be used as a valid reason to say he's lying. 10:12, he even gave y'all a disclaimer that it was going to be a hypothetical situation and yet somehow people still got mad. It's just so sad.
