    • I'm really amazed that no one there seemed to know him! He was on The Voice France a while ago where he did Gangstas Paradise. I didn't follow him in some way after that but was sure that he made a major career out of that by now.

  • MB14 is very famous in France. - He is beatbox world champion with his former group Berywam (the group itself performed in AGT when he had already left) - He was second on The Voice France 2016 and third of the The Voice France All Stars in 2021, and sometimes he was not using his loop station at all. Even as a normal singer, he is amazing. - He had the lead role in a 2022 french movie, where he plays the role of a rapper/slammer who becomes opera tenor: it got some solid success in french theaters and was titled “Tenor”. MB14 was nominated for the Cesars in the lead role category but didn't win. Cesar is the french equivalent of Oscar.

    • @@ericsicard910 MB14 n'a jamais été adapté aux compétitions de beatbox parce qu'il est beaucoup plus musicale que d'autres qui sont plus technique. La seule différence c'est qu'il est beaucoup plus adapté à vendre le beatbox au grand public que tous les autres et à donner envie à des jeunes de s'y intéresser. Mais il existe pleins de beatboxer talentueux et j'comprends les gens qui disent qu'il y en a de meilleurs que lui ( techniquement ). Cependant pour moi il existe pas de meilleur ambassadeur du beatbox que lui.

    • @@TheSweetCreator tout ce que tu dis est vrai et correspond à ce que je ressens personnellement. Les autres beatboxers m’impressionnent mais ne m’apportent que peu d’émotions. Saro et D-Low utilisent beaucoup trop d’effets speciaux à mon goût, Tom Thumb n’en utilise pas mais son registre se limite aux beats et aux imitations d’instruments et cela me lasse rapidement. MB14 est un des seuls (le seul ?) à avoir la musicalité et le capacité vocale pour m’émouvoir. Je sais que ie ne suis pas un réel et pur fan de beatbox. Quand je vois les competitions entre Saro et MB14 par exemple, pour moi il n’y a pas photo et MB14 doit être le gagnant, mais c’est Saro qui gagne et est considéré le meilleur pour la communauté beatbox.

  • Over the years I started to like Simon more and more. He KNOWS talent when he sees it. No messing around or sugar coating things, just tells it like it is: you have no talent, do not waste people’s times. I know it makes it for good entertainment when he tells off rude people.     • The talent shows in a way are Simons story. He started as a comical villian, he walked away back to the UK and Susan Boyle changed him. To walking out after the rapping boys, to showing his emotions openly, to becoming a dad. Its amazing to see the man he has become. He has done more for talent and the unknown performers.     • There isn't, but Hollywood milks thoughs people on purpose to get more view. Cheers to those people but its not always a positive thing. I decent performance would often get a golden buzzer over an amazing performance because of a sad story. And alot of people started to pick up on that. Nothing against the people in pain, if anything I hope it helps them. That's just where people are coming from.

  • I know he's been around for a long time but my first introduction to this sort of thing was DubFX with his loopstation and effects pedals back in 2009 and I listened to his music so much! I've always wondered why nobody came on these shows to perform like this. Glad to see someone finally do it and get the golden buzzer on top of it!

  • Middle eastern music style spiced with Western culture. Am I right? I feel like I appreciate middle eastern music more after listening to this. And the more you learn the less prejudice you're affected by. And that means you're more cultured and smarter as your prejudice to other cultures goes down. I got goosebumbs.

    • Well I share the same ethnicity as MB14 . Born Algerian and raised in France . You are right it’s a mix . He mixed old ancient Egyptian middle eastern sounds with Algerian vocals (Cheb mami , Raï style) Indian instruments , opera, he showed an open minded and eclectic inspiration mis of all. Music the international langage .

  • OMG... I fully love that performance! I've never watched a first audition so many times again and again. That dude is freakin amazing and got me right within the first seconds... and his high notes... goooshhh so damn good!!! And on top he is so likeable and such a nice guy. He absolutely deserved that golden buzzer! And now I am soooo curious what will come next... Congrats man!!!!!
