I've loved him since before I left for Australia and was so thrilled to see him in Perth in March 2020 and immediately after we went into lockdown. He was absolutely fantastic. Today, 29.04.2022 is the first day without masks and I'm on my way home after seeing David O'Doherty. I cried with laughter at both. Live comedy is the best medicine 🤣😂🤣😂💝

I honestly love him, makes me smile and all warm inside every time. Never liked comedy before him. I'm very disabled bedbound so I'll ever get to see him live, but I thank him for being so bloody wonderful! Funny guy!

Walking is healthy heel-to-toe. Running has too much impact for that so toe-to-heel is better for running

Michael has always been my favourite comedian because he takes every day things and makes them hilarious. He doesn't need to use crude shock humour because he can make me almost wee myself laughing talking about getting a trolley at the shops.
When he said "welcome to Heathrow, ready, get set, go" I was laughing soooo hard cause I never heard anything more true 😂😂😝😝

Aussie here. Either hurdling or unhooking the ropes is valid, depending on clothing and luggage. If there's a lot of people around and the rope maze isn't excessive I'll walk it.

Watching this in the middle of the night, and trying not to wake my family wheezing. Holy shit. How on Earth is he making the most mundane things funny? I usually hate physical comedy, but godamnit.
Watching this in bed at night. My husband asked me 3 times not to laugh out loud in the middle of the night.
I met him and his wife and kids at Paultons one year when I worked there. He was trying to be stay under the radar except with a big green baseball cap and grin on his face it didn't really work. Everyone knew it was him. He is great bringing everyday situations and finding the funny side to them in his comedy.

HW. The entire performance is him telling the people a highly exaggerated version of our everyday lives. It really doesn’t take much to get an audience into laugher with such relatable topics... we all have experienced one or more of these things in our lives and 99% of the time we all have the same thoughts and actions to deal with them. The laughter is purely down to the exaggerated story and the relatability to that story. We’ve all made others laugh with our own relatable moments in life. It really is the easiest type of comedy that there is! A comedian who actually creates a show based on genuine jokes and fictional stories is the true genius.

I'm Canadian and British humour (older style) was never my bag. But I don't know WHAT it is about this guy but every time I've heard his comedy for like 5 yrs or so I'm like snorting laughing my guts out! Runs yes, but not walk. He was walking on the front of his feet which was the error that needed correcting. Then he took some comedic license in somewhat exaggerating and embesilihing.
Michael has successfully managed to fit in a bit of comedy in between his gym sessions.
You should listen to his audiobook, which he reads out himself - it's so good! The whole thing about his life was interesting and quite vulnerable. I appreciated that it's not easy to do an audiobook and sound engaging!! 😀💖 He did though.
