Kangal against bear . In this content kangal dog are facing against bear . This predator came near to flock of animals an try to attack , kangal detect the threat and prevent bear attack . It's not easy to deal with bear which is bigger and stronger than a dog but it's the dog courage and effort that triumph in the end .
Mather bear with cubs try to attack sheep but 3 kangals managed to drive her away .
in this face of bear cubs were in risk by dogs and one of the kangal went to far by attacked the bear cub , mather bear responded furious and attack the dog with all her power which cause serious injury . Most of the time dogs try to stay in safe distance to make sure that when the bear respond than they to have enough time to avoid the physical confrontation which can bring consequences including serious injury to the livestock guardian dogs or sometime even death

This is a Syrian brown bear weighing only 250 kg, this size is not much different from a bengal tiger and a tiger can beat a brown bear of its size. Those kangal can only repel Syrian brown bears, not kill them. If the Syrian brown bear gets mad, it can kill any dog breed easily
@@firebear6022 Yep. Syrian bear max. weight is 250kg. These guys are not even close to that. Later they can grow to that size. These are young bears.

A dog can never be compared to the physique of a bear, it can be two and be careful or three, but one can never be a 🐻 is so strong that comparing it to a puppy is very difficult, no matter how strong a 🐶 dog is
I get what your saying, but kangals are ridiculously powerful, for example, an American black bear has a bite force of about 800 psi where as a Kangal has a bite force of about 750 psi not to mention how ridiculously determined kangals are, they don’t care if they have no chance of winning the fight, they’ll still fight
@@ProfNicoschro7711 Yep they are brave but still helpless against bears because they teeth can not penetrate bear thick fur. Bear can not even feal the pain when dogs are harrashing it. If it would it would turn angry and kill dogs. Would not be a big effort. Here in Finland just few month ago truck hit bear in high speed around 80km/h. Bear did run away in the area and even they try to find it with dogs they never did. Every year here are multiple car vs Bear and bear survive 95% of cases. So what i mean is dog is not even close to that dangerous as car is. It is absurd how much bear can take without getting killed. It wont starve even if it hurt because they dont need to hunt all the time. So they heal and after that they have scars but they are other wise ok. But after the hit they are really dangerous for some time.
@SilentDiablo A dog will definitely have more stamina than a bear. Especially a husky or alaskan malamute which can run for hundreds and hundreds of miles in a course of a day with minimal stops to rest,

Those videos Bears were mostly small subspices from Brown bear. Syrian Brown bears wich are around half a size of brown bear. Biggest ones can weight only 250kg but mostly way under 200kg. Females less. Still they can kill big dogs easily. Syrian Brown bear is peacefull bear unless its mama bear with cubs or wounded. They have only small population left because people hunt them illegally. Big brown bears live basically in Finland, Sweden, Russia, Canada and Alaska. Some also usa mainland. All other smaller groups in Spain, Alps, Romania, Bulgaria etc etc are small populated of brown bears and they dont reach normally more than max. 300kg. Kodiak bear is even stronger than Polar bear. It is more bulky and even more agressive like Grizzly. It also has biggest claws in predator world.
Lower 48 griz are ill tempered and would kill these dogs!
However big a wild animal can be it will never be a match for a pack of trained hunting or shepherd dogs never

Its wild animals nature. Dogs are no danger for bear. Bear is too strong and big. Dog is just a dog. No matter how big or trained it will always lose for Bear.

Yes but those are Syrian brown bears wich are only half a size of brown bears. They can not grow more than 250kg and that is rare. Brown bear can weight 600kg. And Kodiak bears even 900kg. Of course records are absurd big. More than 1000kg. Syrian bears are also really harmless they are not agressive.

I know the majority of people would disagree with me on the topic, but though an awesome ancient breed i believe the central asian shepard/Alabai is the best breed for LGD. Though the Kangal has superior strength the Alabai is more adaptable to situations and has thousands of years of being used to being nomadic. The most loyal breed i have ever owned. And have had many dogs in my lifetime since my family used to be breeder's all my life since young child.
I wonder how these Kangals would do against North American grizzlies. They are a lot bigger, a lot more powerful, agressive and violent than these relatively small and timid south Asian brown bears facing those dogs. I think Grizzlies would kill a lot of them in encounters like these and even eat them since these dogs are so fearless and don't like to back down. Wolves are smart and know when to back down when they face a big and determined bear. Some of these bears shown on this video were also very young or look very skinny and sick. Still, the bears that were a little bigger and which look healthy, did ok against the dogs. Some even chase them away rather easily like that female with cubs and the one in the snow close to the house. I don't even ask how these dogs would perform against huge brown bears like the Kodiaks or the Ussuries because that would be dumb. Those bears are just giant monsters.
Seen a video of an ovcharka running black and grizzlys off with no issues , there was someone posting videos up on KZhead of footage from cameras placed on his property of the dog dealing with bears

Some of these bears are not fully grown , it don't mean that they are smaller subspecies of brown bears ! Adult bears in Turkey weigh up to 880 lbs and over. If a bear this big is small by your logic, then you're right.

While certainly no dog or even pack of LGD's will likely kill or even seriously harm an adult brown bear, the canines of the Kangal, Central Asian Ovtcharka, North Caucasus Volkodav are unusually large for a dog and can inflict enough painful bites on the bear to persuade it to move onto less formidable prey. In nature most predators performs a risk/reward analysis, and if the risk of injury to the predator appears too great in confronting a particular prey animal, it will usually relent and search elsewhere for a less demanding meal. However, bears can be insanely determined should they decide they really want something, and are not easily deterred, once they have made their mind up to go after it.

Yep we have here one 450- 500kg (one of the biggest known in the area) bear in Finland wich would kill the dogs in wrong mood. Its head weight almost 100kg alone. It can tear down pretty big trees. It is his hobby to show his power for other bears. There are one area in Finland there u can see really big bears. Area is about 50km x 50km. Somehow they like to live in that area? Perhaps because there are not humans in the area. They just shoot 370kg and 363kg bears very same area. They were not yet fully grown.

The bears in this video are small. A full grown grizzly/kodiac/polar bear on a mission would/will kill any dog (including the kangal) with ease!
Grizzly bears are vicious and super agressive but i dont think black bears would attack 2 kangals unless they protect babies. Black bears are usually scared of humans too
@kevin,any kind of bear will tear up a kangal. We only see little clips on these KZhead videos. They never post when a bear really fights back!

Dogs can be annoying but even Kangals stay a way if there is big adult bear. I did see only one semi big bear in the videos. They probably are just teenager bears. Male bear need 10years to reach it adulthood. After 10year they are adult bears. Still they get more mass and power after that. Most of the dominant bears dont have to kill livestock because they can kill wild animals and steal they food with other bears or wolf etc. They have learn to avoid humans. Teenagers dont have that skill yet.

Attention a ces vidéos montrant des ours combattant des chiens, ses ours son souvent la propriété de montreurs d'ours dans ces pays sous developpes. Les ours sont lâches sans leur entraves habituelles et chiens les attaquent. En Turquie, Albanie, Hongrie, Bulgarie et ex Yougoslavie les combats chiens vs ours sont fréquents.

Le Kangal est présenté comme un chien extraordinaire, mais il est bien souvent élevé à la chaîne pour augmenter son agressivité mais au final c'est simplement un chien 🐕comme les autres, ni plus ni moins. Quand aux ours présentés dans ces soit disant vidéos ils sont bien souvent dressés et lâchés simplement pour le temps de la vidéo. D'autres chiens de troupeaux valent le kangal dans leur pays d'origine. Il faut tomber bien bas pour donner à des chiens des qualités que leurs maitres n'ont pas
