Everything we know about the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse
One week has gone by since a massive container ship struck a critical support column of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, sending the structure and a group of construction workers who were fixing potholes on the bridge into the water of the Patapsco River. Of the 8 men who were working on the bridge that night, six have been pronounced dead since last Tuesday. As more details have emerged about the accident, and the city and port authority's plans for clean-up and reconstruction, The Real News convened a panel of journalists working all sides of this story to get a sense of what we know, what key questions still need to be answered, and what happens next.

Great information. I can’t listen anymore because of so many “um,” “like,” “sort of,” “um.” It’s literally painful.
I get it, we all have our issues. For me, it's when ads play louder than content. But if "ums" and "ahs" and other ticks of natural language bother you, you might need to get out and socialize more, and lay off the podcasts for a while.
@@falsificationism People that are focusing as a professional (independently or otherwise) should spend some time refining their craft to not say as many uhs and actual words in their sentences. It is quite difficult to absorb the content being shared when it's disjointed by that many thrown in.
As I see the scope of this vital artery being cut; I mean just the delays and the hardships to Indvidual families who built their lives based on the existence, of that bridge. It makes me wonder how anyone with half a brain would not have put bumper guards on this choke point? Now I have had people say that they wouldn't have protected it anyway and I say so what? That they were NOT there is the point!!!

That they were NOT there is the point!!!" Ok, so would bumper guards have protected the bridge or not? If so, how? If not, why not? And if the bumper guards would not have protected the bridge, then why put them on at all? They would have been utterly useless and needlessly in the way choking that choke point even more causing needless headaches at that choke point unless it was either already significantly broad enough to smoothly handle the port traffic or was going to be broadened enough to smoothly handle the port traffic without the bumper guards being needlessly in the way.

The only news of the crash coming out is maybe this, maybe that maybe we dont know & its truth is extremely rare, like Capt Mustafa , The truth of the crash may never come out , other than mis information lest Insurance/Compensation be denied for the pilots/officials erraneous actions ,, changing the focus from the contracted safe navigation of the vessel to saving the Bridge, only to end up crashing the Bridge,
