Mojang is so out of touch and yet they say they care about what the community thinks, and then they go and remove beloved features for... Whatever reason.

I found funny the fact they add things with no 100% lore , but vague information , for us to create our own lore with them . But they do not add back farlands , a bug for sure , but looks much more interesting and make you to want to travel and you also have a reason to travel so far . Not just a simple wall blocking you completly , but something like farlands and there to be really hard mobs to kill , or things like that , would make the world wall much more interesting and enjoyble.
I still miss the sword animation from 1.8. It was a great feature to declare that you come in peace 😢
The void fog was the best, they could just have an option for it, removing it was a bit too much i would say,it just gave a "mystery" feel

I remember playing Minecraft with my cousin, and after I hauled a lot of gold, tried to craft a Notch Apple for him. I genuinely sat there for a minute staring at the screen when I saw that the crafting recipe is no longer in the game.

it should be added back and only used when no shield is equipped, it shouldn't be as effective as a shield but it would block some amount of damage. I feel this way only us OG MINCERAFT players would use it.

I’m not sure if this would fit on the list, or if anyone even remembers this old block, but on the old versions of pocket edition, the nether didn’t exist. so, instead you needed to craft what is called a nether core reactor. I don’t completely remember the recipe, all i remember is it needed a diamond and 4 gold, but I do remember the structure you needed to build around it (kind of like how you need to activate a conduit) and right click the reactor to spawn a large nether room. all you needed to do was survive in it, then you were let out, but it is so cool looking back at what that was and it brought back a lot of childhood memories.

I have fond memories of the customized world I had created once. It was a world without any body of water. Super cool to explore and looking like a devastated land, "Mad Max" style.
I had a max size jungle with lava oceans. It was my 2nd experience with normal mc (switching from pocket edition) and my 1st unmodded experience, it was really cool and I've built a large minecart track
The removal of the far lands is absolutely sad. It would be absolutely awesome to habe as a natural worldborder if it would be a feature. Even though i have never seen them and the majority of players have also not seen them probably. They are Minecraft culture legend. They got even not to small mentioning in the story mode.
Sword shield should make a return as a parry feature. You have to time your parry or else you'll take damage. Parried projectile should hit the enemy. Like in dead cells.
Enchanted golden apple should be craftable again because it still take 4 sec and less op than totem, damn 😢
Maybe you should look up why the recipe was changed

The old fall sound should be a low % chance of happening
Why not just add a Option in the sounds menu named "Damage sound" with three toggles "Old (Oooh)","Classic (first changed sound)","New (current damage sound)" So all players can have options whether they are happy with the new one or for OGs who can enjoy old "Oooh" sound.

Adding the far lands back into the newest versions only requires to change one line of code. BUT they actually look really boring in the new version imo
