Ever wonder how Marvel came up with Avengers: Age of Ultron? Step inside the pitch meeting that started it all! We promise it's
#SuperEasyBarelyAnInconvenience.
Step inside the pitch meeting that started it all. Marvel's The Avengers: Age of Ultron was a guaranteed box office hit, but it's also burdened by being the next big junction point in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That means there are more than a few plot holes and story arcs in the movie that just don't quite make sense, in order to further expand the MCU into Phase 3 (and beyond).

Dude you are born to do Pitch Meetings!!!!! Thx for such a great work
“That’s a product!” Is my all-time favorite quote by Ryan’s producer man character, and on his channel/screen rants channel in general.
Actually u r right about one thing, the producer were searching for " " of ultron and they ended up on age because that was the coolest sounding. Actually according to me, age of ultron is still going on because what he did massively impacted all other films after it.
Age of Ultron was ripped straight from a large comic book event that involved the titular robot conquering everything in time & space which forced both heroes and villians to take drastic measures in order to defeat him such as time travel. In other words: The title was appropriate for a loose Hollywood adaptation to print money for Disney.
jm ong really? So was Loki in the fight against ultron in the comics?
Saransh Oberoi Whatever living being the age belongs to has to be alive and well if it’s still going to be considered its age. The Stone Age and Ice Age greatly impacted the human race, but it’s not still going on.
Besides introducing Scarlet Witch and Vision, how has this movie impacted all proceeding films? The events within get referenced a couple times, but otherwise, it could have been skipped and we could have introduced Scarlet Witch and Vision in any other movie and missed nothing.
SimilarIndividual yeah u would only miss sokovia and why sokovia accords were made, why tony is so heart broken, why he wants "a suit of armour around the world". Motivation of cap and tony in civil war would not make sense at all if u have not watched age if ultron. Remember the farm scene, tony and Steve arguing, why Hawkeye feels responsible for Scarlett witch? Because of quicksilver's sacrifice. Why hulk turned to banner after seeing black widow video? These are little things but adds so much to the overall narrative of MCU.
The reason Ultron was "cracking jokes" was bc he took his personality after Tony Stark... I didn't really like him cracking jokes either but that was the reasoning behind that
bad movie
I feel like a serious robot would've been boring. The snarky Ultron kind of subverts expectations.
Kyle Delaney - That doesn’t make it automatically good or accepted by the viewers. Especially after the menacing deep-voiced first impression we got from the trailer. Ultron is able to say less cold & robotic lines in the past versions & adaptations, by going for more personal tourmenting threats. However they mishandled his Terminator like personality seeming to be near the seriousness levels of Jarvis or Vision except that he’s evil minded. I suspect also that they made him less scary to avoid frightensd kids crying when he onscreen & the parents complaining about this in a Marvel movie. But at least the darker version would’ve been more entertaining to watch onscreen compared to the other boring Marvel villains & standout by being so inhumanly meanacing.
@@TharosTheDragon wrong
When Thanos said, "I'll do it myself" I took that as "I'll destroy them myself." I also thought that he somehow influenced Ultron, because Thanos gave that mind altering staff to Loki. I haven't watched that movie since it was in theaters, but it all made sense to me.
“Natasha and Bruce have a long conversation about how they should’ve showered together” I choked on my water in public
Actually Tony didn't retire at the end of Iron Man 3. It was a 'clean slate' protocol. Starting it again from zero. And Ultron didn't kidnap Natasha to lure the avengers. He literally wanted someone to talk with and share his thoughts which he did before with Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch but now they're gone so he gets someone else

interesting fact #1 age can be = period of time clearly distinguishable from other eras that preceded it or followed it, it doesn't have to be in years, it can be in seconds if it's distinguishable enough.
Well, technically, but come on. People usually call short term dramatic evens a "crisis" and if it massively changes the situation in the long term they call the timespan FOLLOWING a new age or era. Kicking a massive army in the ass is a normal Wednesday for the Avengers at this point, this didn't change anything.
AceVsKnight actually very interesting fact sir
Age | Definition of Age by Merriam-Webster www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/age c : a division of geologic time that is usually shorter than an epoch. 3 a : the period contemporary with a person's lifetime or with his or her active life. b : a long time -usually used in plural. haven't seen him in ages. Wrong, AceVsKnight. If you're going to attempt to come across as clever, for god's sake, fact-check. You're online-don't be so lazy.
+dorothy b You used this: a : the period contemporary with a person's lifetime or with his or her active life. ---->That person was Ultron. P.S. My definition is correct Stone Age = the first known period of prehistoric human culture characterized by the use of stone tools. Notice " characterized by the use of stone tools." was the thing that differentiated this period and not its longevity which goes with my "= period of time clearly distinguishable from other eras that preceded it or followed it" perfectly.

The first part: valid. The second part: also technically valid, but I feel like their line about that was literally just a joke on how the actual comics event took place over a long period of time (both in-universe and irl) while the movie takes place over the span of a few in-universe days.
