Anthony Joshua Opens Up To Jourdan Dunn About Manners, Male Vulnerability & Being Mentally Fit

2021 ж. 7 Мау.

“It’s fine to fail, but don’t get disheartened. Build, go again.” So says boxer Anthony Joshua, who sat down for some friendly verbal sparring with supermodel Jourdan Dunn in the midst of preparing for his now (controversially) cancelled fight with Tyson Fury. “That marathon mindset is what’s got me through my boxing days and that’s what I’m still using as motivation now,” he says. That and the motivational speeches he tells Dunn he listens to on KZhead before getting in the ring. Watch this episode of British Vogue's In Conversation series in full to hear the two-time world heavyweight champion and the former cover star discuss being a role model, male vulnerability, and what he hopes to teach his son.

    • @@jugjitsharma4938 No, he's not racist. His maternal grandmother is white for God's Sake, and his trainer is white, his promoter is white and half of his entourage is white. That speech was completely twisted in the media. In an entire speech, one single line was taken out of context. He made it very clear in the same speech that he was grateful to see the entire Watford community, black, white, Indian etc. coming together in peaceful protest, and he was very critical of the people who were using violence as a means of protest. Plus, it wasn't even his speech. He was simply handed it and asked to read it out because he is the UK's most recognised athlete. He didn't write it.

    • @@barrybergisch1 Why so cynical - he admitted to his wayward ways and went to prison, which means he paid for his crime. He could have continued down this crooked path like so many - he recognised the errors of his ways and has turned it around for good. Isn't that a good thing?
