“It’s fine to fail, but don’t get disheartened. Build, go again.” So says boxer Anthony Joshua, who sat down for some friendly verbal sparring with supermodel Jourdan Dunn in the midst of preparing for his now (controversially) cancelled fight with Tyson Fury. “That marathon mindset is what’s got me through my boxing days and that’s what I’m still using as motivation now,” he says. That and the motivational speeches he tells Dunn he listens to on KZhead before getting in the ring. That speech was completely twisted in the media. In an entire speech, one single line was taken out of context. He made it very clear in the same speech that he was grateful to see the entire Watford community, black, white, Indian etc. coming together in peaceful protest, and he was very critical of the people who were using violence as a means of protest. Plus, it wasn't even his speech. He was simply handed it and asked to read it out because he is the UK's most recognised athlete. He didn't write it.
