British Vogue presents ‘In The Bag’ with Tyla. The South African singer and songwriter reveals her handbag essentials, as we take a look inside Tyla’s Givenchy handbag. “In South Africa, we use this [maize meal] to make Pap. Pap is maize meal, hot water and some salts-it’s a workout to make it,” says the Grammy Award winner as she pulls out a hefty bag of ACE super maize meal. “You have to taste it, though, it’s really good.”
Other must-haves include a ‘bedazzled’ Vaseline and Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, plus a Baies Diptyque Candle to make hotel rooms feel a little more cosy. Watch the full episode of British Vogue’s ‘In The Bag’, as Tyla gives us a sneak peek inside her Givenchy handbag.

    • I'm filming with international Hollywood leads- 4 American and 1 British, an award-winning producer and the director of the highest-grossing films ever (both have Oscars). They're so awesome and Craft here in Cape Town serves Pap and Sous (mild, atchar and South African Style options). It was so much fun seeing and joking with these incredibly talented and lauded directors and producers to eat the pap with their hands. They got in and enjoyed it.

  • My girl repping South Africa because she's staying true to herself and what she actually loves and enjoys. I'm filming on set with several international stars, an award-winning producer and one of the most successful directors in history. They're American (two British leads) and love our Cape Town food. Craft serves Pap and Sous at every lunch. They also have certain spice levels for people to choose from ranging from mild, normal to South African. We need flavours here!
