The 'Water' pop star tasted jam tarts and showed off her perfect British accent before comparing her childhood cereal to a UK classic.

As a South African who now lives in Britain and who enjoys both South African AND British snacks (and has eaten all of the above) I totally agree with all of Tyla’s picks (except for koeksusters - I LOVE koeksusters). I do think they could have got a better example of a sausage roll though 😂

They are! Yes, ok, £7 for a box of those Easter eggs is ludicrous, but we can get them here. I'm about to have some biltong now (again, very expensive, but really good!). You can get koeksisters, milktart, peppermint crisp, etc, but yeah, it's expensive.

No one can beat South African food. Anywhere. I have friends and colleagues in the US, all over parts of Europe, have family that's in Australia and the one thing that everyone agrees on, is that no one comes close to South african food or snacks. It's what they miss most.
