Beast mode for Raymond!!!!
beast mode was Cat all game, and Kane (on a trash line), Raymond was largely invisible all game until as usual he got put in a position to look great/like a hero at the end. i've never seen a franchise bend over backwards so much to manufacture 'stardom' for a young player or try so hard to make him look good. i hope they appreciate it when it's costing them a ton more $$$ this offseason for him AND chasing Kane away; bc it's all being done at Kane's expense, that's whose offense and opportunities they've stolen to make Raymond look better.
The Yzerplan is working just fine. Nice to see the WIngs and the Fans so excited about playoff hockey again!

Jets fan here, I was rooting for the Red Wings. Nothing against the Habs but I would REALLY like to see the Red Wings make the playoffs this year - it’s been a little while for them.
Thats why we love this sport of hockey. For moments like this,so specail. And im not even a wings fan, i just love exciting & emotional hockey.

Kane not firing that backhander for one of the coolest OT winners ever is just another sign of how gone he is. He thought about it then decided to give Cat the glory moment, bc Cat is going to be in Detroit for years yet and could use a moment like that to get over w the fans. And naturally he repaid this generosity by hitting the crossbar. Kane was also the last guy off the bench on the celebration, by a good margin. He almost didn't even leave the bench. Hope he stays healthy and finds a better and more deserving team and coach next year.

it is actually quite possible that that is the last pass Patrick Kane ever passes to Alex DeBrincat in the NHL. and he clanks it. just like he's clanked or shanked every other pass Kane's fed him this year. if Raymond or Larkin feeds him that he snipes it in. but not for his buddy Kane, who he's really betrayed and let down here at the end. not enough he's cost him 20 points this year w misfiring, but he now actually plays hard and makes shots now that he's off Kane's line and PK is stuck w trash. some friend. they will not be playing together next year, and i don't just mean on a line.

Every day I realize just how stupid people are. The RW have lost at least 8 games this year, that I’ve been able to watch, because of poor officiating. Please take your nonsense somewhere else. They shouldn’t even have to be competing for a WC spot when we should already be locked into the playoffs.
