Underdogs every step of the way. What a fun post season this was.
It sure was. The comeback against Toronto was the turning point.
Congrats on getting pinned 👏
@@Grassss Thanks!
It meant nothing. ZERO. Stanley Cup Finals was a snooze fest. Would've loved to see Vegas and Tampa. Maybe we don't see a repeat.
@@Dave-oz9qh well guess what, Vegas wasn’t good enough to go against Tampa and might’ve been even more of a snoozefest. Sucks huh?
If they pulled the reverse sweep on Tampa it would’ve been the greatest sports underdog story of all time!
Habs biggest nightmare is having to play The Bolts 6 times next year in the same division.
@@chriswong8262 not really lol
@Star Traveler man you need to find your way back home, your family misses you!
@@chriswong8262 nah after douchitoff's Habs fans bashing, I think it's gonna be the other way around.
IKR!!!
Grateful that some of the french commentating has been included.
Pierre Houde is the 🐐
“Un cadeau du ciel.. Merci Fleury!!” I’ll never forget that.

un fan de Castrato? lol
Watching them beating the Leafs never gets old.

Watching them basically get swept by Tampa doesn't either

Not bitin' on it buddy. Have a nice day.
Briar Smith hahaha what do you know about other rounds then the first???
Ill be grateful for this run forever, hopefully it doesn’t take another 28 years to get another shot at lord stanley!
It will with Bergevin running the organization into the ground.
@@chriswong8262 ?
@@chriswong8262 Wtf? Bergevin is the third best gm in the league after Sakic and Yzerman

My dad recently passed away, I'll always be grateful we experienced the 2021 playoffs together. We watched every single game together and I'll forever cherish that as one of the best bonding moments of my life. 💙🤍❤️ Habs fans forever.
My dad also passed away last year, and the 2021 Habs run is some of the best memories I have with him. You're not alone, these moments truly are special. Stay strong ❤ GHG
Im starting to move on from that loss. What a run! I am proud of my Habs, I'm proud of the Flag that flutters on my car window. #GOHABSGO
I was sad the day they lost, but they've learned a lot this year.
Agreed 100%
trying being a leafs fan, all we do is lose
🤣🤣🤣 go bolts go
yeah i was crushed after the loss to tampa
Boy what a fun ride this was! Loved it. Especially the first round against the leafs alone was just complete joy. Hope the boys like Suzuki, Caufield and Kotkaniemi can get even better and guys like Perry and Armia can be resigned. Price was the man and hope he continues his hot play into next season.
Bye bye Danault.
@@chriswong8262 Danault is 100% resigning
@@ogdentaylor7473 i heard he wants above 5M wich is a joke for him. One of the best defensive center, but the guy has al ost no offence.
@@MuhhLesT dude shut down Mathews and Stone he deserves it
@@bdush0936 Doesn't even matter lmao. Danault replaced Pleky, the habs have Evans and Poelhing they can groom into that role. It isn't a problem for them. How's your top line center? Dude was a 4th liner for the caps lmao.
considering they only lost to a team 18 million over the cap, i'd say that was a hell of a run
that Lehky goal is one if those “i remember where i was when…” moments for me. what a night.
Best Celly award goes to Bergervin
Glad they included a split second of Count Dracula Petry
5:14 Was that Steve dangle yelling this kid is unbelievable!? Steve did a fantastic job calling the games and cheering fair and unbiased and even wore a habs jersey which made my day but this was a crazy unbelievable run and regardless of how or why we lost we learned how this team can play together and we can play with any team in this league! Congrats habs!
Yeah it was him, it was in his live stream of the game “ Watch a Habs game with Steve Dangle”
Disappointing cup final but this year, Montreal proved they can play with the big guys. They took down possibly the best Toronto team since the 90s and then beat a hot Vegas team in just six. The problem was that Tampa was just a really good team. They beat Carolina in only five games as well. I feel like they can be back here in a couple of years if they play there cards right. I’m proud of this team.
And we gave them the most embarrassing playoff loss if that’s even believable since 2013
@@slipperynodd578 Who is we?
Nah habs are gonna crumble, their vets taht carried the team are injured and on the way out
@@thebacc2087 What? The Suzuki line was just as influential if not more so than the vets, and they're all in for next season.
@@mikeamber2528 by vets I meant Carey Price pretty much
Love the Montreal C's. What an honor to play them in the Final. It is a beautiful city and the people of it are passionate and kind.
I think the lightning were interrogated about the #86 injury (the entire 4 part series) along with the cap maneuver...and for the silent russian type... who channel hate into productivity....reaching the pinnacle was letting out the assault he had received.
I'm proud of what they have done, even tho they did not win the cup. Hopefully next year we will win it.
They won’t come close.
Won’t even make the playoffs next season
@@dium2276 y’all say that every year. and look who made it to the finals this year🤪
@@chloemaccormack1088 they wouldn’t have even made the playoffs these past 2 years if it wasn’t for COVID. If you honestly think they’re making it next year, which team are they beating out?
@@dium2276 they can easily beat out Boston or Toronto. The guys in Boston are getting old, I think next season won't be as good for them as this season.
Proud of the Habs. They've exceeded our expectations. They'll be stronger next season for sure!
This didn’t age well:(
No
Yeah…about that
Fast forward to us missing....I believe 12 players currently to either moves, trades, or injury. Idk I lost track
@@julien7337 12 injured players=$52.925 million. The cap hit is $81.5 million, that leaves $28.575 million. The Canadiens are currently working with a $28.575 million team, 23% of a complete, healthy roster. (Price, Weber, Gally, Petry, Anderson, Toffoli, Edmundson, Armia, Byron, Niku) 3 who have worn the A, + the captain.
Goosebumps and tears while watching this! Not tears of sadness but tears of joy and pride of this amazing run!
I hear ya...I was born into the Hab fan franchise...married a die hard and that year was magical... One thing I'll say though...is the maple laughs will never get close to the cup.....EvEr.😂
@@tracesmith4966 let me know how the habs have been doing ever since that lucky run
I cried watcging this, best postseason in my lifetime so far
Even as a Leafs fan outside of losing obviously...seeing the Habs run made the playoffs enjoyable still. I will go back to rooting against you next season but you got a fun team to watch for sure.
As a Toronto fan you were rooting for Montreal?
@@bradleye1964 I was getting through the depression of being a Leafs fan during the Jets series but yes I rooted for them during the Vegas and the Tampa series. (Probably would have rooted for whatever Canadian team won the division tbh but Montreal ended up actually being pretty fun to watch).
Alrighty then!
@@bradleye1964 are you a Montreal fan confused at me or are you a Leafs fan disappointed in me?
@@bradleye1964 Imagine that, or don't you have the capacity to comprehend how that works?
I used to watch highlights of the 2014 run when I was sad, now I have this for the next 5-10 years
I hear you, man. I've also watched the 2010 run countless times.
better get used to watching these ones because just like that their back in poverty and a bottom 5 team in the league, right where they belong
Vegas vs The Habs was just magical. Nail biting series for me! Go Hawks and Habs!
this run will go down as one of the greatest runs in canadian sports history.
If we had won... so far, I think the Raptors got it.
I’ve watched it a least 20 times. Gives me chills every time. It is, in my young life, one of the greatest sport moment
Does watching them sit at the bottom of the league ever since this lucky run give you goosebumps too?
sa me fais monter les larmes aux yeux quand je revoit ça ... c'était le plus beau scénario que j'ai jamais vue depuis 1993 ...

We are so proud of the Montréal Canadiens
Forever proud. This was the most memorable series and the best early 20th birthday gift

I can watch this video 1000 times and never get tired of it.
The one video that has always and will always cause me to break down. As a Habs fan living in Toronto, this was extremely emotional, I had never had someone come up to me and say something NICE about my jersey
watching the final clip of weber hits different now
I admit it..I have been critical of your coverage of the Montreal Canadiens at times. In this vid you captured the essence of why we celebrate them. They not only brought us joy after a tough year but they brought Canada together, And La Belle Province with our linguistic woes together. I wish all our Canadian teams much success in the coming years...Cup needs to come back home.
Man this was incredible, the best playoffs run I’ve seen
So proud of the boys!
I've been a fan more close to 40+ years. After the 4-0 loss to the Leafs I wrote them off and the management. Then they put the kids in in game 5 and the whole thing changed up and there was a huge spirit in the team and game play. What a magical run, will remember it for a long time! Very, very proud of this team and they should be proud of themselves as well. It's gonna be super tough to repeat that magic again. But hopefully someway, somehow they can do it again!! Great Season Boys #GoHabsGo !!
hands down the best moments of my life
Ive been alive for 28 years and this the happiest this team made me thank you
Contributions from everyone, amazing goaltending, electric fanbase. Here’s hoping a Canadian team can go deep every year
I'm a Bolts fan but I give major respect to Price. I always knew how good he was but it was Suzuki who surprised me, what a force!
Don't say electric after we got beat by the lightning.
This aged like milk.
"Sensationnel"
Proud of the boys and excited for the future
Same from a Canucks fan and I’m excited for the future for the Canucks as well
dont get ur hopes up bud, these past 3 years of no playoffs will continue for the poverty habs minimum 5 years LMAOO
ive have re watched this too many times, i just get to feel something when i watch this. i just keep cutting off after they say the Stanly cup is in the building, i just cant watch my team be so sad. great montage!!!!
better keep watching because this poverty franchise is gonna keep disappointing like usual for a minimum of 5 years bud, so get used to it
I’m sad, I’ll go back to this video once and a while
these series were riveting to watch why doesn't the NHL sell season video packages for each team for any year?
The news about price makes this just so so much more painful
What an amazing and fun run to watch, so sad they lost in the finals :(
Also, really cool to include a few screams en français haha! Merci ♥
Goosebumps. Can’t wait for this season, ohhh baby !!!

@@coreywilliams8865 SCF is pretty close.
you're delusional buddy, this was the luckiest playoff run in history. Enjoy poverty for the next decade bud
got chills watching this...
Still breaks my heart love you habs love you Carey
Every time I watch this, I still get goosebumps when the announcer says “And Montreal are going to the Stanley Cup Final.”
Most heart I've seen in the last decade. Spearheaded by Shea Weber and Carey Price. I missed the Stanley Cup round vs the Tampa Bay Cap Circumventers while I was fighting wildfires in British Columbia, but what a ride and what a great spirit! People talk about the tank, but you need the winning spirit, and the Habs will always have it!! GO HABS GO!
Price pulling off those incredible saves as always! 🙌
I knew that the Lightning had a greater chance to win at the final. But if the Canadiens were able to win the second game, maybe the progress of the series would have been different though. But Vasilevskiy did his Vasilevskiy things. After their second win in overtime against the Leafs, the Habs were not the same team at all. They were spectacular to watch and they surprised me, specially against the Golden Knights. The dream almost comes true. Congratulations for the Habs for their performance!
The Habs simply met a brick wall. His name was Andrei Vasilevskiy.
That amazing run for the Hubs.
I graduated highschool in 2021 Honestly best year of my life so far
They will get better....they will be back. I am impressed that this organization unlike other organizations does not hang up banners that indicate finalists....they only hang up Stanley banners
they wont be better, and they wont be back. Bank on it.
