I 'accidentally' bought an abandoned Dodge SRT10 Truck and 'acquired' a Dodge Demon engine, sooo...
Look, a 8.3l Dodge Viper engine in a Ram truck is cool and all, but it's not Demon engine cool.. So come along for the ride as we rip out this massive 10 Cylinder engine in favor of Supercharger noises and a LOT more room in the engine bay! After all, Dodge stuck a Hellcat engine in a truck and called it a TRX, we're just gonna do it better!
Have a wild Mopar build story of your own? Maybe you've bought a totaled Hellcat or Demon to turn into your dream car? Be sure to tell the story in the comments!

  • You guys really should put a hole in one of your forklift forks that you can drop a hitch ball in, lets you pull your trailers around plus it acts as a stop for when you use chains to move motors, makes for a nice little safety feature and can be pretty handy to boot.

    @gd1996@gd1996Ай бұрын
    • Same here! I like the idea but personally i would have restored and upgraded the SRT10 and found another truck to build into the Demon truck. I am not crazy about the V10 sound but a couple turbos would change the note enough to make it more palatable.

Fly cut the pistons, high flow, intake, manifold, delete the cats put on a course exhaust and some tuning and boy what a sound. @jeovanicorro@jeovanicorroАй бұрын
  • First off, always pick up the truck by the frame, that’s where all the structure is, lifting by the body will most likely result in it dropping on your head. Second, add some sort of rubber to that trans mount, hard mounting is never good, you always want flex especially in a truck application. Third, you can keep the leaf springs, especially for towing purposes, but highly suggest adding traction bars at the minimum. 4/5 link with coil springs would be the best application for the rear with what you plan, and has come factory on most 2013+ rams. Either way 4/5 link or even just traction bars will help minimize axle torquing/spinning away from the springs which can cause a lot of stress on the transmission, axle, and driveshaft.

  • For those folks out there who don't know, Dodge in its Infinite Wisdom made the four-door SRT truck only available in automatic the two-door available with an automatic or a 6-speed. Ergo the same with the Charger and Challenger. 4 doors automatic 2 Doors available with manual

    • Not as fun lugging around a CrewCab manual. High stall converter & 8speed swap much better in my opinion. T56 is great for the lighter RC setup.

  • Literally saw this truck or someone similar to it on Friday night or Saturday. I literally thought to myself. Imagine a whipple on it!! It was being driven by two young lads. Not sure if this is the same truck I saw in fountain valley , ca. But this specific model is my one favorite by dodge. BEAST ASS TRUCK! My step dad had one and sold it for a c5 blown at the time.
