A Nissan 240sx wasn't designed to have half the cylinders as a Dodge Viper V10. None the less, that did stop me from shoe horning a Viper V10 into my Nissan 240sx. There was A LOT of cutting and rearranging to fit the Viper V10 into the Nissan 240sx chassis. That was just the beginning of the journey to get the Viper V10 powered Nissan 240sx road worthy!
For the ECU and wiring for the Viper V10 Nissan 240sx we turned to the team at FuelTech for our needs. The FuelTech FT600 is going to control the Viper V10 engine in the Nissan 240sx chassis. With the engine control figured out, its just simple as wiring everything else, right! Tim and I are in charge of connecting all the dots to finally get the Viper V10 powered Nissan 240sx running and driving!

    • I hope that bridge collapse isn’t as bad for you guys as it looks from a distance. The state (with help from the federal government) need to put up some type of temporary bridge that the military would use in a war, maybe some ferries for people with park and rides on both sides of the bridge.

    • @@bartmix8994thanks. It’s not “devastating” as far as day to day to traffic. There are several other ways around. The port closure is the major problem. For both state and national economies. And the local families with workers there.

  • That's crazy. When I was in school for auto tech, I had an instructor that got on to a kid for looping his hand through the steering wheel and turning the engine on. He pulled his arm out and turned to everyone and said never do that because the power steering system can have an issue and the wheel will snap around and has enough force to break your arm. I wonder if he had first hand experience...I've heard about it but never seen it in person.

  • The fuel pump is supposed to have its own relay and wiring preferably you should trigger the pump on by activating the ground on the relay. Essentially. It would be hot all the time if you had the ground attached to chassis ground. But with stand-alone it can energize the coil in the relay through the ground signal it was wired originally too. Risk burning out the ecu wired that way

  • Big engine in a little car makes it fun. I put a ZZ430 (350 cu in 430 hp Chevy Crate Motor) into a 75 Chevy Vega with a ZF 6 speed from a 94 Corvette. There is nothing more fun than driving a small car with too much horsepower and torque. Be careful in the rain. The torque will have you doing 360 degree spins from a start if you hit the throttle too hard. I did that too. This is a car you will need to respect. Oh and that grin on your face says it all, congratulations!
