  • Aryna probably turned the corner, so to speak, when she was strong enough to say to her coach ( who thought it was time for him to move on ) that " It's not about you ( she probably meant, It's not you , it's me ) and we just have to work through this". She TOOK RESPONSIBILITY for her falling short at times because she knew that her coach was giving everything. This I believe was a GIANT STEP toward her success. You could see in this match some of the improvements that she has made; most notably, not beating up herself when she made an error but instead staying in the moment and focusing on the next point. Congratulations. Well deserved.

I hope Jabeur, Garcia, Contaveit, Pegula and Sakkari also get their hands on a major title (we all know some of them need some changing in their game). I would have added Badosa, Collins, Keys, Pliskova, maybe a couple of others but I can't see them winning a major. It's my view.

Nothing to do with men's tennis, if we are equal, play 5 sets, that's all.

  • I used to say, why hasn't this girl (Sabalenka) with such strong hit to the ball and plays very well won a GS? I say that God's times are sacred and respectable and only he is the one who decides when one takes a step towards progress or not. The time has come for this girl. The current issue with women's tennis is that none of them remain dominant even throughout the year; I say that today the AO was won by Sabalenka, then the RG comes and another wins it and so on, the opposite thing happens with men's tennis and as long as there are some of the Big3, that situation will continue.
