Evolutionary Horror will always be a genre that chills me to my core
Do you have any other recommendations similar to this?
@@Spaceman972 Snaiads by C.M. Kösemen (the author of All Tomorrows) is definitely worth checking out. The creatures are so weirdly designed and I love its world-building. This is deeply terrifying, yet so interesting to me. I feel like there's an alternate world where this has actually happened somehow.
I see, we have to re-look our understanding when it comes to folklore and true history, i so happened to be Christian growing up but then learned it’s lies and it’s truths, we must know what the truth is to God, why then Noah was perfect in his GENEarations? Noah walked with God, could this be WHY the flood happened? Gene tinkering….? And so I’m not really exited that people are curious about something that will bring man to another extinction.. so called gods that give us knowledge and understanding, but never lead to peace or true life.
If the universe is infinite, then it definitely happened
if you feel like it is the truth, it probably is.

I don't think I've ever heard a more terrifying body horror story. This is fantastic.
But it is also an inspiring tale of humanity rising up against all odds not just horror. And speculative evolution
even though this is terrifying, it's also kinda comforting knowing that it's never truly over. change will always happen
Exactly what I thought. I like this side of speculative evolution. Even though it's full of misery and is surely terrifying, in the end it gives us hope, telling us nothing is over yet and your willpower can overcome what you are struggling against. All Tomorrows and Altered States are my favourite examples of this.

*shits* translation: Dark matter is a hypothetical form of matter thought to account for approximately 85% of the matter in the universe and about 27% of its total mass-energy density or about 2.241×10−27 kg/m3. Its presence is implied in a variety of astrophysical observations, including gravitational effects that cannot be explained by accepted theories of gravity unless more matter is present than can be seen. For this reason, most experts think that dark matter is abundant in the universe and that it has had a strong influence on its structure and evolution. Dark matter is called dark because it does not appear to interact with the electromagnetic field, which means it does not absorb, reflect or emit electromagnetic radiation, and is therefore difficult to detect.
Can't imagine becoming minecraft bricks just because some aliens named after a single letter wanted us to be less smart
and instead now becoming living walking colonies
it sucks, but whatcha gonna do?
@@Nobddy If you dont have genes, you can't get memed
I don’t believe this will happen to us. My usual temperament of the future is of humanity being a grand contender of the stars, fuelling envy from other alien life, and watching this kind of stuff always humbles me to realise that we could very very easily be reduced to ash by entities infinitely better than us. But I still refuse to believe it, my hopes for humanity are naively high, I will die countless years before we could rule the galaxy (if it is to occur) so I feel better living my years dreaming of our far descendants as gods rather than slaves 😛
@@DonRoyalX maybe god isnt protecting people in their day to day, but it is protecting us from these things... so long as we stay in the garden :P

Lol yeah
And if the developers were 80% more disturbed in the head

I'd play the living crap out of that spore.
Absolutely, and cheers from your 510th like!
My favourite part is how the Qu engineered these posthuman monstrosities to be either nonsapient, or sapient and suffering eternally, and in a few million years so many of them were like "WELL GUESS WHO'S BACK MOTHERFUCKERS".
yeah thats the problem the Qu never expected they never though another species COULD be as great as them and master intergalactic travel but when some did what do you know all the neighbouring galaxies had a common enemy they all hated more then any other what better way to create a galactic federation
"Forcefully evolve me ONCE, shame on you. Force evolve me TWICE?? Shame on me. FORCE EVOLVE ME TWENTY TIMES, NOW I'M MAD

Fuck the Qu. All my homies love The Reapers.
@@ThatCreeNative1 The Reapers are actually pretty fair. Let life take its course, reset it, and watch it go again anew. Because eventually, one single species would come out on top and enslave/destroy the rest of the known universe. The Reapers are benign gods in the grand scheme of things; something none of the ME species could understand (obviously, no one would just sit and let aliens exterminate them). At least the Reapers never had any hatred or need to be superior; they WERE superior and never wanted anything during the quiet eons, dudes just hibernated until it was time.
the indomitable human spirit always shines
The fact that the Qu probably went though the same thing they did to humanity hence their weird form

I have no idea how this video was recommended to me, but what a fascinating story and artwork! It’s been a long time since I felt this tremendous sense of wonder.
i just imagine symbiote school like "Yo, your host looks rad" "Yeah, yours too, wanna trade?" "Hell yeah!"
Modular school: "hey wanna trade eyes" "Sure bro"
It be like, "Yeah I found my host face facing the ground. However he visited the Colonials, so it's pretty cool"
Bug Facers schoo lunchl be like; Hey, Samson, is that a fucking Symbiote parasite? Man, I've been wanting to try one of those for a while!" "As I wish I got the chance to try one of those tarantulas from earth. You've been holding out on me. Wanna trade? "Yes!"
killer folk school: killer folk teacher: ok class, let's learn how to use a gun- killer folk 1: *suddenly shoots a random prey outside the window* killer folk 2: bro, how did you do that? killer folk 1: I already know how to use a gun, ok? so may I leave class? killer folk teacher: of course you can! :D
Pterodactyl peoples class would be like Teacher: Hey kids I’m gonna teach you about death and how we are all going to inevitably die
The Symbiotes are just a civilization of Ratatouille, holy shit
Holy shit, never thought of that
there must be a good gaming host for them to speedrun minecraft tho
That was an inspiration.
Ratatouille's true ending.

I keep coming back to this ... its like going to your granny for a new story every night .. so you could fall asleep listening to those tales.. So good to be a child in your 50s :0) ..I always thought that time is gone forever. But i think technology is bringing it back.
OH MY GOSH I LOVE HOW THIS IS GETTING MORE POPULAR ON TIKTOK CAUSE NOW I GET TO TALK ABOUT THIS AKA A MINI HYPERFIXATION OF MINE MORE CASUALLY 👍👍👍👍
This is probably one of the most distressing “dystopian future” works of fiction I’ve ever heard of. It isn’t as simple as “humans nuked each other and they all died the end” it’s way more complex. Humans would survive….maybe too long. Survive to be enslaved, morphed, and tragically would become unrecognizable, physically and mentally.

Perhaps death IS better in this case...
Isn't it strange that utopian reality is only experienced by a communistic order of modular creatures.... mindless and careless beings. We are doomed.....
