A flight to the edge of the earth is a great idea. I love how the Pilot was constantly communicating with his passenger. What a historical event!!!
Я был одним из первых молодых лейтенантов вылетевших на этом самолете самостоятельно сразу после училища. Это идеальный истребитель. Люблю его до сих пор.

@@retrogames7301 Очень просто. Вывозная программа на спарке (двухместный) МиГ-29УБ, а сам уже на боевом одноместном, когда получишь допуск.

Great absolute great video, very real very serious , also the fact that the pilot constantly asked “ how are you “ was really humble . Instead of making someone scared or sick this pilot cared for his passenger . And Gregori you have some ball,s stepping in such plane . I live in Australia and although 74 I would be over the moon to do what this chap has done, i just wonder how much it cost. My wife is Russian from St. Petersburg and we have been married a long time, we have been back to Russia as often as we can, a few weeks living in Tiger area followed by a flight like this would forfill my every dream. For those who have never been you dont know what you are missing, the people are real friendly and there is so much to see that really you need a year there, but what a way to end a holiday!!!!!!!

What a plane....what a pilot!
I love military aircraft, not because of what they are capable of doing in a war scenario, just the capabilities of what these aircraft can do, simply that nothing else. Due to the fact i have had eleven back surgeries, and i'm now doing well and about to hit 69 and am quite fit, the G's would not be great on my lower back, so i just enjoy watching these videos, and without envy or jealousy, at least i can get some idea of what it must be as a passenger in these wonderful aircraft.
I did the same thing in 1965 piloting an F-104G in Denmark. Except flying the "hammer" . The F-104 will enter into an unrecoverable spin. The Mig-29 is a fantastic airplane, that I would love to fly.
that's what's called a lifetime experience! BTW, the pilot is way more attentive than your regular flight attendant. 🤣😁

In 1984, I was 9 years old. I lived in Iran. In the Middle East, our country was at war with Iraq. Iraq, led by Saddam Hussein, always bombed our cities and homes with these 29 MiGs. The plane was flying so high that no missiles could reach it.

I think that Russian pilots and MIG-29 jet fighter are together is one of the best flying alternative on the World. Congratulate for Russian engineers, pilots, trainers, workers. I'm a Hungarian man and loved this video very much.
I know that each Aircraft is designed for specific roles and therefore cannot be compared, but imagine being a pilot in the SR-71 at 80 000 + Ft and can sustain that altitude for longer periods of time and no other man made A/C can touch you. Awesome capabilities and technology for that era.
