Learn more about the Edge of Space Flight: tinyurl.com/fly-to-edge-of-space
The famous MiGFlug MiG-29 Edge of Space flight (also known as Stratosphere or high altitude flight) makes the news regularly as it probably is the craziest and most surprising adventure available, worldwide. The Edge of Space Flight - or Stratosphere Flight - has several unique characteristics that can't be experienced elsewhere:
- It's the only possibility for everyone to break the sound barrier
- supersonic flying with a top speed up to MACH 1.9
- Altitude up to 20km/65,000ft altitude
- Insane aerobatics with G-Forces up to over 9g
- The only possibility to fly a modern 4th generation fighter jet
- MiGFlug customers can control the MiG-29
You will reach twice the altitude and speed of a commercial airliner. Up there, in the stratosphere, you can clearly see the curvature of the Earth. Countless stars can be seen, even at daytime - in a deeply black sky. And far below the Earth is wrapped in a blue fog - the Troposphere. A breathtaking - life changing experience.
But how does the MiG-29 climb to these altitudes? It is above the service ceiling of the beautiful fighter jet. The MiG-29 climbs at maximum speed in a huge parabola and "overshoots" the service ceiling.
After the Edge of Space part - on the way down, you'll get to learn the amazing agility of the MiG-29, and the G-Forces the advanced aerobatic manoeuvres in combination with high speed causes. You can experience up to 9.2g which is very intense.
You'll also be able to control the MiG-29 and fly aerobatic manoeuvres yourself - the MiG-29UB is fully dual control and you'll get to learn how to fly it before during the ground training.
This video features Canadian Ferrari racecar driver, Ferrari club president and entrepreneur Josh Cartu. He dreamed of becoming an Astronaut or fighter pilot, MiGFlug had the honour to make his dream come true. But you don't need to be as famous as Josh is - everyone can fly with us.

Of course we are talking a technical work environment. Russians are very smart people and have excellent schools and education system, far better than most western countries.

Just knowing that there aren't many other people on Earth that have travelled as fast or as high as you have. I've known about MiGFlug for years and thought, one day once I've saved up enough I will do it. Unfortunately I don't see any experiences like this happening in Russia for a while...

  • 5:06 this is the best thing in the video, you can see stars during a snowy daytime in Russia. For those who are interested you can see stars at high altitude because there's less air molecules that scatter sunlight. At low altitude there's more air molecules, and that scatters sunlight (specially blue light), this is why the sky is blue.

The altitude of 60.000 ft - 17Km is too low to observe the earth curvature and you certainly you haven't reach the edge of space as the Karman line is around 100 Km height. In this video the camera has just a fisheye lens that give you a false sensation. At 05:30 snapshot, you could see that the earth seems to be, convex instead of hollow, due to distortion of the fisheye lens. For sure any civilian passenger after a flight profile like this and 8 G's forces, couldn't be sure for anything.

    @ChemiiOneLegacy@ChemiiOneLegacy5 жыл бұрын
    • Things cost very little under communism when your citizens are slaves and don't mind living in terrible conditions. One of the greatest threats to the iron curtain was Russians learning how much better other countries had it. Let's also not forget that Russia is only 144 million people living on a landmass twice the size of the USA. So half the population, twice the land mass, equals plenty of resources to go around. Which begs to question why Russians live like they're the trailer park of the world. Russia's population growth is basically in the negative. They had 30 million more people in 1950 than they do today. Meanwhile, the US has 170 million more people than in 1950. The fact is, Russia was always dated and behind. None of these were a match for US craft. Never have been, never will be. Even Russia's new fighter jet is a load of crap that was made to look imposing on paper, but the reality is basically anything the US has made in the last 50 years could take it on. Russia is a paper tiger, and a weak one at that. Their S400 missile defense system? Jammed in Syria by the US when the US sent that huge barrage of missiles at Syria....after Russia threatened it would shoot down all the missiles then retaliate on any place the missiles came from. Hell, given Russia's aging everything, I'm willing to bet that not even 10% of their nuclear missiles are operational anymore. If the US wanted, it could invade Russia right now. Remember.....twice the landmass, half the people....with their most modern missile defense system shown to be completely jammed by secret US countermeasures. Notice how Russia went quiet after the attack on Syria? Because they realized that they're wide open. Then Putin came out with a threat that he's making a nuclear powered nuclear missile that can stay in the air and fly around for a long time. That was Russia knowing they had no defense against the US, and were cooking up this magic missile in an attempt to scare the US.

  • Flat earther takes the same flight... "Damn it, my eyes must have a fish eye lens."

    @azone123465@azone1234655 жыл бұрын
    • The Fish Eye lens (FE) was designed by a Flat Earther (FE) which distorts the image of the earth to be flat but not the aircraft that also in the image. Problem is, only a Flat Earther can see the effect of this special lens. Basically, when seen by an FE the FE causes the FE to see only a FE. Believing is seeing.

    • That is a fish eyed lence and if you look at the video as with all fisheyed videos ,when the camera is angled one way the earth look curve ,and when its angled the opposite way it beomes convex and in the middle of those 2 angles the earth becomes flat and there my friend it exactly what your eyes see wwhen your up theee ,flat and straight horizon brother ,if your eyes see something different then your either lieing about going up that high or your lieing about what your seing ,because the earth does not curve ....
