The G-Monster is back - more 30 seconds at 9g!

Maj. László 'Szatyi' Szatmári renewed his qualification on JAS-39 Gripen. Eight years later of his first centrifuge training (see video on this channel) he is still in good shape. I present you this video with his own permission.
Here is a great article about this procedure:
www.unilad.com/technology/sho...
Szatmári 'Szatyi' László őrnagy ismét fárasztja a centrifugát. Nyolc évvel az első kvalifikáció után továbbra is jó formában van. A videót Szatyi engedélyével adom közre.

If you have this problem since you were child it’s probably a born condition, if it started after, you need to make blood test and check with a cardiologist that usually diagnose the problem causing this and give you the medication to fix it.

    • Kg isn't the measure of the weight, it's a mass. Mass doesn't change no matter how many Gz. Pounds do change though.

      @zyxwv5138@zyxwv51385 жыл бұрын
    • Ok... "He looks really fine for a man suddenly experiencing the mass of 720 kg in earths gravitational field." Better? A pound (lb) is also a unit of mass, used in the USA. There are only three countries left on the planet not using the metric MKS system, which is a standard in science. Liberia, Myanmar and USA. The USA realized the problem, that´s why the pound has been officially defined in terms of the kilogram since the Mendenhall Order of 1893, so the lb is just an extra step. The pound as a unit of mass should not be confused with the pound-force (lbf) which is a unit of force or with foot-pound, a unit of energy, or pound-foot, a unit of torque. The pound-force is equal to the gravitational force exerted on a mass of one avoirdupois pound on the surface of Earth. Since the 18th century, the unit has been used in low-precision measurements, for which small changes in Earth's gravity (which varies from place to place by up to half a percent) can safely be neglected. The 20th century, however, brought the need for a more precise definition. A standardized value for acceleration due to gravity was therefore needed. Often people are confused with the use of pound. Also scientists are sometimes. That´s why the Mars Climate Orbiter became a nice firework in the sky of Mars on Sep 22 1999.
