I was going by a shipyard one of these days and I heard a ships horn…I immediately said to myself: “This is super yacht news with Esysman” 😂 All the best to everyone
INSIDER trading by someone other than the American Congress? INCREDIBLE!!!!!
Bingo!
@@HTHAMMACK1 They hate competition!
Nobody can touch congress it’s so blatant it’s numbing.
Take a breather there bud lol
@@Anonymous-pm7jf so says the anonymous clown.
This another fine Superyachts video and thanks so much my friend 👍 Old F-4 Shoe🇺🇸
The PTO/IPO technology has been used by Tesla from before 2012 with regenerative breaking. The same motor used to propel the vehicle is used to generate electricity. In this case, to recharge the battery while slowing the vehicle. Feadship has always been a leader in the marine industry and I am glad to see this technology finally make its way to yachts. Thank you for the info and congrats to Feadship.
The sailing yacht in casablance seems to be BADIS 1, a Perini Navi build, 70 Meters 887 GT
Owned by the King of Morocco
The sailing yacht spotted is a Perini yacht: looking at their website she should be the 70m S/Y Badis
This ferry that the last yacht spot photo was taken from @9:45 . Was is it hundreds of feet tall, and did it have trees growing on it? Just wandering.
THANKS ESYSMAN,🤗…WE LOVE ❤️ SEEING THE NEW TECHNOLOGY…EVERYWHERE 😎💚💚💚😊
Ngl Lewis sounds like a pro friend🎉
That’s the bit which gets me. It’s seems a strangely motivated prosecution. He wasn’t profiting from any of this just trying to do his friends a solid. Yes he was breaking the trust of his position in disclosing inside information. But Ffs, there are much more culpable fish to fry in the US political cabal who seem to think they can act with total impunity. Past Presidents included. They betray the public
The last 2 Yachts are amazing looking.
Your first intro starting at 0:05 has the template instructions, reading "LARGE TICKER TEXT UPPER CASE" as well as "Black ticker text case sensitive", FYI
Shaft generators are not new but using stored energy to run the shaft via the same unit certainly is. We had shaft generators in HMS Cordella in the Falklands War and they worked very well.
Thank you, keep working.
Feadship 1012 should be named - "Life's a Beach" 🤣
😂🤣😵💫🤣😂
Great job as always. FYI for some reason when my name scrolls by my name is shown twice, one after another. Time stamp 1:42 Greg Purinton Greg Purinton. I feel special 😂
9:18 Perini Navi S/Y 70m BADIS formerly Sybaris
the old dodgy health Card played with great success, noted.
The Judge made the appropriate decision. In prison the state pays his medical charges while on the outside HE pays for medical.
Do you have to pay to see the AIS data?
My home work port. Newport Among the things I do .. Program/reprogram AIS transponders. :)
QUESTION Yachts with support vessels like Wingman; is the support vessel where the staff stays, where they keep the toys etc so that the main yacht is mainly living quarters for the owner???
As someone who works for one of these fleets, I feel I can answer this for you, In general, no, the crew for the main yacht are based and live aboard the main yacht as the vessels don’t always stay together and the main yacht need all their crew onboard, Having the support vessel allows for extra crew to allow turnover and crew leave to be possible, and even alternating between the yachts, the support yacht will carry extra tenders and toys and do a majority of helicopter operations to allow the main yacht to not have the disruption of the guests
@@n-vital97 thank you so much. Bon voyage whenever you travel
@@n-vital97 Thanks for that !
That's right.
I watched Limitless squeak through the bridge opening to Simpson Bay in St Maarten while I was there on a much smaller vessel. (140’) It was a tight fit but she made it.
As the Actress said to the Bishop, "Its not the length that counts, its the width!"
Super nice
10:21 Am not sure the email address shown to send footage to is correct…?
Is there a specific name for the piece of metal on the bow at water line?
Sailing yacht Badis ex Sybaris. 70 meter perini Navi
YES!
Limitless was Malaga, it was my spot :D
I think the US attorney should leave the rest of the world alone and start prosecuting US senators/congressmen for insider trading. They have a $175,000/year salary, yet after 4 years they are all worth over $20 million. Its a fact their investment returns are 25% while 'regular' investors are 3-5%. The US government is corrupt af
You beat me to it, so true.
Big Mouth scores his Adderall from Barron
We’re talking about a a billionaire. No comparison with mere millionaires.
you sound like a Russian troll
No he shouldnt go ti jail or else ooen up the big doors for everyone from politicians to laymen who happen along into these tips. Some other form of securities surveilance must be installed in the future to avail a cleaner transaction system be adopted. Accountants are paid millions to find breaks in the welds of these issues.
"some other quick-fire-yacht-spots"- being a long tie follower of this channel, that actually made me laugh. I mean yacht fires are a frequent thing here.
Lithium ion batteries have entered the chat
There are almost no boats in Maui. Very surprising considering how many people and the amount of wealth.
He was one heck of a boxer.
Too sick for prison / too sick for cruising.
Lock him up with Leroy and Rastus to be their bitch. It will serve as an example to other "high net worth" dodgy dealers to watch their step.
An odd comparison!! I know which I'd rather have.
Many different laws works good a
Sounds like a fairly decent boss, sharing lucritive information with the staff knowing the risks.
Brain damaged. Imprison accountants/solicitors.
LARGE TICKER TEXT UPPER CASE
Kinda telling how this yacht seemed to never get waxed and the hull eventually got dull and oxidized
Thank you to all the people who take pictures and send them in. Awesome to see Yersin. That new yacht looks stunning
No prison
fyi - the intial ticker has defailt text values in it, something to watch out for
tell the 1 MW of lithium batteries go up in smoke!
Prison! money is not a punishment for these people!
Frail? Here we go again.
Confinement 24 hours a day in a self-funded private hospital room at the Mayo Clinic or Cedar Sinai for 3 years would appear to meet all the necessary criteria for both sides, not fresh air and total freedom.
Surely superyachts have brigs.
The legal system is really funny... I had a case in court against me once and appeared with a highly competent but unknown lawyer for the first hearing which was a complete debacle so I switched to an extremely well-known law firm (who didn't really care about my case because I am a nobody) and they simply repeated what my previous lawyer already had told the court and yet the judges reaction was a very different!
👍👍👍👍👍
Insider trading is wrong but it shouldn’t result in an effective death sentence. Plus the US selectively applies that law. Politicians engage in insider trading all the time. That’s how they get rich.
KZhead automatic subtitle translator says your name is Eismann.
That’s his Jewish name.
Hey up a small fine is not enough for this, loved the look of that sailing yacht
Mr Lewis.... He is slicker than a snake dipped in Vaseline....
There are plenty of old, ill people in prison. Cruising the med doesn't make this seem like the right decision. House arrest maybe, because if he's healthy enough to be yachting, I'd say he's healthy enough for house arrest.
I think they are setting a precedent for a certain fat ex-president.
The rich never go to prison.
It’s all just peanuts for this scoundrel. You could not fine these guys enough money such that it would even make a dent in their wallet. 3 years suspended. Wow!
He should be under house arrest, as well as the fine. Its just a slap on the hand the fine is big but he wont be bothered as the main one is the company's.
Maybe he's under house arrest. The house just happens to float.
"prison would be detrimental to his health" ? so what.. ive seen old men on Zimmer frames get prison term.. old men on oxygen masks getting sentences to prison... why is he so much better.... he is not sorry.. he knew what he was doing.. he is only ashamed that he got caught .. tell the lives he has destroyed that prison would not be good for him .. i would argue that prison would effect the health of 100% of the people who enter it i would even go further and say the rich and famous should be treated harsher than us mere mortals... they should know better... they have access the best (lol) legal minds on the planet.. those with the means should even be made to pay for there stay at the governments establishments
“The lives he destroyed”?
It’s ok Congress can insider trade with no consequences
I'm so ashamed and apologize for my behavior. Laugh I nearly bought my own drink. 😅
Thanks for sharing, shared. God. Loves us. Mysteriously. I..Swear.
0.007% of net worth as a fine, I am confident he’s all good.
What good are rules if they are not enforced. They should have taken the Yacht or a large enough amount to send a message. $5M for a man that owns a $100M yacht is pocket money. But 100% credit to Sysy for the coverage thank you.
That’s not constitutional that would be a excessive fining someone it’s strictly prohibited by the 8th amendment the punishment has to fit the crime not the person you don’t like
You think a hundred million dollar personal seizure is proportional to giving out stock tips
"The punishment should fit the crime" The punishment for insider trading is prison time. Yet this billionaire paid his way out of prison. Peasants protecting their handlers never ceases to amaze me.
The Court has decided. That's it, end of story: any other opinions are private.
small penalties for a large profits,,, good business again,,, why would age be a reason to scape punishment, and if so old people should not be allowed to make business or do anything that has a chance to commit mistakes if not a crime,,,
Of course, why would anyone like him get locked up. Ask Martha what she thinks about it.
a lot of people that have gone to prison should be onhis Yacht for health reasons.maybe the judge should be on his Yacht for relieving the tension of all of his Job.
Prison. And a billion pound fine.
these guys don't care about fines. Jail time is the way to go.
What about everyone who works at the US federal Reserve! Inside of trading all of them
I don’t care if he made money off information he received….. when the same scrutiny is applied to politicians let me know.
Isn’t that something. Members of congress can receive inside info and profit off of the stocks, and that is all ok.
works for Pelosi
Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. If you want rich folks to stop doing the crime then you absolutely have to incarcerate.
Or, as John F. Kennedy once said, where there's smoke there's often a smoke making machine. lol 😎
The ‘frail 87 y.o.’ should have been required to do 6 months of public service …
Aye and that fine should have been way more, how much do you think someone in this position would pay not to go to jail
A fine is just the cost of doing business.
Why did they charge his pilots with insider trading? In order to be guilty of insider trading you have to have 1. Inside knowledge, and 2. A duty to keep that knowledge secret. His pilots don't have any duty to the company to keep the info secret.
They had knowledge that the information was inside info and benefitted from it.
LARGE TICKER TEXT UPPER CASE. Black ticket text, case sensitive,.
I'm 80, do you have any insider information I can trade on? I will have to get the same judge though.
Prison for an 87y/o? No. NY only puts people in jail for financial crimes that are well known, e,g. Martha Stewart. Kidding aside, no prison
😅😂😅😂😅
The government gave the company called special privilege super friends who BlackRock ect 😂😂 they help friends 😮
in prison on a superyacht ............... world aint fair ............ bonkers ..../// lucky he wasnt claiming unemployment benefit and working on the side .... that would be ------------ go to prison do not pass go .... ///
LOL, the only insider trading allowed is the US congress.
Five million is a drop in the bucket for someone who has 7 billion. This is a disgrace.
55 million😊
No way that someone at that age should go to jail unless it's a capital offense. It would be a death sentence.
You must know by now billionaires never go to prison! Lets see if his pilots friends and girlfriends do.
Sorry was I meant was . . billionaires never, ever, ever . . ever, go to prison
No he should not be jailed. That would be a disaster for a lot more people than just him. How is the PTO/PTI motor when being used in PTI mode disconnected from the main engine. I know you can use electric clutches or hydraulic couplings. I am curious on what they have used.
The guilty always plead not guilty even if they have sh#t on their hands. Lewis is NOT ashamed so boo hoo to him.
Prison
If you can't take the heat stay out of the Kitchen! If you can't do the time don't do the crime! If you are rich these don't apply!
Given his wealth a slap on the wrist. Bet his health doesn't mean there is not a Hot Girlfriend on board and he is having a good time. Jail, screw his age, he can just afford a good lawyer.
No to prison but the fine was way too small.
I don't disagree with the lack of prison time giving the circumstances cited. However, Lewis should have been put under house arrest for the next 3 to 5 years instead of the silly-ass probation which means not-a-damn-thing.
Of course, he should have gone to prison.
House arrest might have been a better penalty…in addition to the financial fine.
Honestly unless he was in the southern district at the time of any of the trades or his employees where this is just another example of the southern district exceeding there justification to prosecute a case that will pay them out in fines and him not getting any time increases my suspicion of that because if there prosecuting him outside of there jurisdiction and they give someone a jail sentence the appeals or Supreme Court are likely to overturn it on appeal especially in this case where the person has the means and will to fight it
All of these guys are indirectly insider trading. He must have ticked off the wrong guy.
He should have been put on House Arrest and had a ankle monitor.
He should have gone to prison. End of.
The lesson here is don't own or have any association with a business in or regested in New York.
