Murder trial begins for Karen Read, accused of killing her police officer boyfriend
A murder trial starts Tuesday for Karen Read, a Massachusetts woman accused of murdering her boyfriend, who was a police officer, in 2022. Her lawyers say Read is being framed as part of a cover up involving multiple law enforcement agencies, and that someone else is responsible.

Your video is incorrect. You state at 1:42s that the defense has not stated who killed John as part of their third party defense. That’s not true. The defense has named Colin Albert (the 17 year old-old neighbor), Brian Albert (BPD officer, homeowner and trained fighter), and Brian Higgins (ATF agent), or a combination of the three, plus Brian Albert’s dog, as being involved in the homicide.
I believe what the media is stating is the facts they have at hand. I watched the court hearings and the defense has failed to submit any evidence proving another third party was involved. All they have is theories and while there’s truth to most theories. This will not hold up in court. Doesn’t mean she’s guilty or will be found guilty just means defense had to work harder or dig more for evidence to back up their claim of third party defense. I’m from Massachusetts and yes these cops are not always the most honest however it doesn’t mean their murders nor does it mean she’s guilty either. I can’t wait for trial to see all the evidence and what the jury will decide.

This woman will go free. With so many supporters and threats, the jury whoever they will be already made up their minds to finde this woman NO GUILTY, even if she is or maybe not. People say she’s not guilty, but they weren’t there when the murderer happened. The only people who really knows who’s the murderer is the police who was killed and the killer. The scratches don’t look like the dog did it. They look more as if someone use an object.
@@brianhowardmonroe this is just my opinion but from experience working over 8 years with different police departments I will tell you I’m sure there are skeletons in their closets that have nothing to do with this case. They probably don’t want made public or part of any public records.

Just look at the Autopsy Pictures! It’s Seriously %100 a Coverup..and not to mention googling “How Long Does It Take to Die in the Snow” the very same DAY!
That was actually disputed with turtle boy present 24 hours ago and prior by experts and evidence the search was made at 6:30am and it is alleged that Karen used Jens phone to search it. Doesn’t mean she’s guilty because god i know how untruthful officers can be however it does open up a lot of questions.

@@melyblazegardens1883 Not true on the background there is a deep investigation about everything in this case and the Fed had their own 3 PHD experts and they told the google search was at 2.27 Jen McCabe tried to hide that by writing it at 6.30 again, but the science is clear and the cat is out of the sack .. It really was 2.27 And they also told he ( John) wasn't hit by a car, and Karens car didn't hit him.. she is 100% innocent!
i have concerns with her actions....that she suddenly started to go looking for him. She knew what she did and felt guilty and she put on an act that she that she was concerned for him. She is very pretty and frail looking, making it difficult for the public to see her as a ki11er. She did use a vehicle and not another weapon. I suspect she be let go for lack of sufficient evidence. However, i am convinced she did it!! The people need to allow the process play out and not interfere in justice for this police officer. They look to be trying to influence the jury to make them to allow her to walk. This is wrong!

@@brianhowardmonroeDid you know the fbi investigation was based on evidence the defendants team submitted not the actual evidence in the case. I’m not saying the woman is guilty but what I am saying is there is a lot of speculation out there and in court it comes down to facts and evidence; however, I don’t believe the state has enough evidence to prove she did it.
How cushty for defendants in the US being able to sit alongside their council. They ought to try sitting in the dock.
