I suggest that you go to a physiotherapist and get a few simple exercises for your son to do every morning without fail. I'm tall and I do some exercises regularly and that has protected me from back-ache for decades. If I fail to do them, then suddenly my back spasms and I'm in pain. If I do the exercises, then I have no problems at all.

My 14 year old son is really tall as well. He can easily pass for a high school senior .My son is shy and doesn't like too much attention about his height. Couldn't imagine what it is like for Barron. Just let him be a kid.

My husband is 6'7 and my two sons are 6'4 and 6'7 and my daughter is 5'11 i am 5'1 so height doesn't faze me.

We shrink as we age, too. As we get older we still quote our height as what it was decades before without taking that into account.
