For me the most dominant champion ever... his record is all freaking killers, he is the most active and there is no doubt that he won all his fights, he has insane wrestling, grappling and now boxing. I’ve been saying this. I had a guy on here tell me that I was being disrespectful to Matt Hughes and that Hughes would whoop Usman. Lol 😂 these people are delusional, Usman turns himself mentally and physically into something more than human in preparation for his fights. Look at the moments after the Gilbert Burns fight, he had to turn himself into a killer for that fight. Every champion has something that is a puzzle. Anderson Silva, Jon Jones, and Israel Adesanya can lay claim to their elusiveness that helped them. Khabib, Hughes, and DC, it was their wrestling. I would put Usman in the same category as Stipe. Both have sound fundamentals. They are not dominant in one thing, but they have a good base when it comes to boxing and wrestling.

You can see that Colby had his jaw open when he took the hit. It's an error on Covington's part rather than a credit to Usman.

@@Ashmoke I dont think its impressive at all that Usman broke someone's jaw while their mouth was open. I think its pretty easy. Open your own jaw and feel how loose it is between open and closed. I think anyone who can swing their arm could break an open jaw. If it really was that strong of a punch it would have been a KO.

Every champion has something that is a puzzle. Anderson Silva, Jon Jones, and Israel Adesanya can lay claim to their elusiveness that helped them. Khabib, Hughes, and DC, it was their wrestling. I would put Usman in the same category as Stipe. Both have sound fundamentals. They are not dominant in one thing, but they have a good base when it comes to boxing and wrestling.

Usman is the best wrestler in the ufc atm, so i would put him in the grappling category. Now that's not to discredit his striking, but his wrestling is a cut above imo
