    • It’s easy to be gentle when you know you could cripple someone who took that option from you. But more importantly, he started martial arts because he was bullied as a child, so at his core he would never want to become the very thing he sought refuge from.

      @Berserk_96@Berserk_967 жыл бұрын
    • Albert Wesker, from what I understand GSP never said that he retired. He just said he was taking an extended break from the sport... He seems to be in a good relationship with White now... I can see why he wanted to remove himself from that kind of environment. There were way too many cheaters taking PEDs. Now, the cheaters are getting taken care of and he wants to make a return. Makes sense to me... He seems to be eyeing a return for 2017 since 2016 did not work out. Hopefully, he will make a successful comeback this year. The Welterweight and Middleweight divisions could benefit from adding his name to their roster again... I think his first fight back should either be against Nick Diaz, or any available opponent out of the top 15 contenders in the Welterweight or Middleweight divisions. I think throwing him to a champion would be a huge mistake as he has been out of action for quite some time. A few tuneup fights will benefit him, and hopefully cement his comeback. I would hate to see GSP comeback, receive a title fight, lose, and then retire. That would be a shame. I would like to see this guy go for an official title run, hopefully claim the title, defend it, and fight a few super fights. If he loses his first fight back, I think he will just retire, and I hate to see that.

      @wildcountingdayswithourcan2519@wildcountingdayswithourcan25197 жыл бұрын
    • He has a terrible relationship with the ufc what are you talking about he's basically started a rebellion against the ufc with all big fighters in the game because they aren't getting proper benefits or pay. Thats the reason he hasn't been able to get a contract this year is because they can't come to an agreement. The ufc are straight up crooks when it comes to pay.

    @sebc2s@sebc2s10 жыл бұрын
    • Someone has problems in math... 5 x 5 DOES NOT EQUAL 30... Its 25 minutes... Besides GSP does A LOT more than just "lay on people"... You should study up on what constitutes as ground game and what is going on when fighters are on the ground as it seems you are having problems in that area too.

    • xgenerationvideos117 I didn't say it matters, but boring is boring. It's sport yes, so as long as he utilize the rules and win it, good for him. But it's sports that simulates a fight. Extremely dangerous moves like eye gauging, groin kicks should be banned, but like in the good old Pride FC, if ground kicks and knees were allowed, wrestlers wouldn't feel too comfortable to keep shooting for take down again and again and again. Traditional martial arts keep their upper body upright because it is dangerous to low their head low in real fight. If it was Pride FC, George wouldn't be able to take down as much. Entertaining performance is big part of the business, without business, there is no sport. Also, his last win against Hendricks was a joke. He doesn't have my respect as a fighter. He does have my respect as UFC PLAYER.
