Tech Tips: How to set up a Braava jet m6.
Welcome to the future of cleaning. Agent Bennet is here to help you set up a robot mop. You’ll need the robot mop, a smartphone with the mop’s app installed and your network’s login info. Agent Bennet will be using a Google Pixel 4 and the Braava Jet M6. Your steps might be a little different depending on your devices.

It also has the ability to link/connect with your select Roomba vacuums and start moping after the roomba vacuum finished its work to start automatically .

Mine is being a nightmare. My S9+ it came with in the combo is awesome and was simple to map mad set up. The mop hasn't gone through more than half my house and each time it maps the same couple rooms. I guess I can just take it to the room that's needed and just hit clean but I'd like for it to follow the vacuum after in automatic cleaning. The few rooms it has mapped allows me to put the thresholds in from between rooms where when mapping it treats like a wall. But when mapping new ones it won't go in just treats it like a wall. Same eith the whole other half of my house. Just maps living room and the 3 bedrooms. Won't even try and go to kitchen and lavatory and laundry room. I've run mapping probably 11 times. What sucks is the last time it got stuff in the mast bedroom by the threshold which it's never done and always got over the threshold after I helped it the first time and added a threshold box between the rooms. So I feel like it's getting worse ...

I would like to move the base to a new location in the house (same floor) . Do I need to erase the previous map (or the device) for it to do a new map, or can it find the location of the base of I put the base in a different room ? Thanks ! p.s. and thumbs up for naming yours Rosie ! :)
We'd generally recommend redoing the mapping to ensure the Braava jet can properly route with the new setup.

Can the irobot mop go across carpet to another room(,ie..bathroom)
Our understanding is that the Braava jet m6 is designed only for hardwood floors and would likely not be able to make the height transition from hardwood to carpet to hardwood again. This is due to the mop attachment. It will support multiple rooms provided there is no transition. Otherwise, it would need to be picked up and manually brought to the other room to start the cleaning process there after the other.
How do i change the dry sweep option to mopping with the water? I find it impossible in my robot app
Ensure you have selected an appropriate wetness level in the iRobot Home App by selecting Settings ➔ Jet Spray Amount, Wet Mopping Behaviors. If the problem persists, contact iRobot Customer Care at homesupport.irobot.com/s/contactsupport
How do I change from dry sweep to mop
The Braava jet m6 should automatically detect whether a wet mopping or dry sweeping pad is installed and switch to that mode when using compatible cleaning pads.

How do I send the Brava Jet back to its dock?
To then send your robot back to the Home Base, press and hold the button for 2-5 seconds on the robot, or press PAUSE -> SEND HOME in the iRobot HOME App and then follow the instructions to end the cleaning job.

Je suis déçu du fonctionnement du Braava, car il perd la tête et tourne en rond au milieu de la pièce. Le sol du lieu de l'utilisation est noir. Nulle part dans la documentation ce désagrément est signalé. Je passe avant et sans difficulté le Roomba i7+ la couleur du sol n'ayant pas de problème pour lui.
