Dimash has operatically/Classically trained vocally for 25 years and will be 30 in May. He had had the offers, but is not interested, He did perform with Placido Domingo a few weeks ago, performing the Pearl Fishers Duet at Virtuosos. He is well qualified but opera in and of it's self is not his cup of Tea. Like the great basso Profundo, Avi Kaplan who is Classically and Operatically trained, but mostly writes and sings Americana, Folk, a little bit of pop and songs to help heal others.

Dimash is opera trained, along with many styles, & turned down a position in the opera company in Kazakhstan., He wants to be totally independent, to sing what he wants to, how he wants to, why he wants to, & when he wants to. He signs no contracts, & owns his own production company along with his parents, called Dimashali. He sings all kinds of genres, & often mixes more than one into a song.

Dimash's high range is what always grabs the attention but for me I prefer his velvety rich low range. It's like bathing in warm chocolate. I also love his sheer versatility as you never know what he's going to do next, in one month he went from doing a full operatic duet with the Maestro Placido Domingo to doing a blues/rock song complete with growls. Dimash is just genreless, it's just music and he fits in with whatever he's chosen to sing at that point. He becomes the music.

The song OlImpico (which became known as Ogni Pietra) was composed by maestro Igor Krutoy, with Italian lyrics by Russian poet Lilia Vinogradova and arrangements by Erlan Bekchurin. It was composed specifically for Dimash for the 2019 European Games. With this song Dimash won, on December 5, 2019, the Victoria award (Russian equivalent of the Grammy) for best singer of the year, in the classical genre ("Best Vocalist in Classical Music").

Dimash is classically trained and has performed many opera songs. Besides his recent duet with Placido Domingo, one of his most operatic performances was "Passione." He was long ago invited to be a permanent player at one of Kazakhstan's major opera houses but turned it down in order to do his own more creative thing.

Dimash has formally studied classical as well as other styles since the age of 5 yrs old. He is presently working on his PhD in composition. He was offered a position in the Astana Opera...but declined instead to pursue other creative directions.

He was trained for years in classical voice (bel canto), but didn't choose to go into opera as he found it too limiting. He doesn't actually sing with the true operatic technique even though we all think he does in songs like this! If you listened to an true opera singer it sounds different to his operatic style voice, it sounds more sharp than he does. This is because opera singers are trained to sing without a microphone so they can be heard over the orchestra at the back of the opera house and they have to use a special resonance technique to do that. Dimash probably could do it, but he doesn't choose to, which is one of the reasons why his voice sounds so beautiful to our ears when he sings this genre. I prefer his voice to an opera singers voice any day. And he can sing anything. He ticks all the boxes for me. Thanks for your great reaction! Subbed and liked!

Am not sure if you had the captions on for english but the lyrics for Olympico are very inspirational. 🤔 Dimash is commanding you to go forth and be the best YOU that you can be.😍 I use this song in my exercise routine.🤘🔥🤘 Dimash sings many Operatic songs but my favorite is "Ulisse" then Passione as second. I really had no interest in Opera before Dimash but the way Dimash Rock-i-fies or Pop-i-fies it sounds more acceptable to my ear. Another great reaction, thank-you👍 🥰🥰Much love from a Canadian Dear🇨🇦

It isn't just a head voice. It is a mixed chest & head voice, though he does go into his head voice on times. He does it all with ease. Yes he is opera trained & was offered a place in the Astana Opera House but had decided by then that he wanted to pursue a career in neo-classical/ crossover styles, which he does perfectly! Having said that he has sung Opera a number of times. He sang 2 Opera songs at Igor's birthday celebration which was held in an ice rink with ice dancers performering while singers sang! Spectacular show. He sang Ti Amo Cosi with a wonderful female Opera singer, Aida (forgotten her surname & Lara Fabian), and sang Ulisse with Aida too. He has also performed a duet just a few months ago with the great Placido Domingo when he was invited to be a judge on Placido's show in Budapest called Virtuosos, a talent show for young classical musicians. He also composed an operatic song that he sang for the first time in his live concerts in Almaty, Kazakhstan in 2022. His Spanish Dears had been asking him to sing in Spanish so he composed El Amor En Ti, a brilliant song. Thank you for another great reaction 😊🙏💞

Dimash is opera trained, along with many styles, & turned down a position in the opera company in Kazakhstan., He wants to be totally independent, to sing what he wants to, how he wants to, why he wants to, & when he wants to. Dimash's high range is what always grabs the attention but for me I prefer his velvety rich low range. It's like bathing in warm chocolate. I also love his sheer versatility as you never know what he's going to do next, in one month he went from doing a full operatic duet with the Maestro Placido Domingo to doing a blues/rock song complete with growls. Dimash is just genreless, it's just music and he fits in with whatever he's chosen to sing at that point. He becomes the music.

Dimash is classically trained and has performed many opera songs. Besides his recent duet with Placido Domingo, one of his most operatic performances was "Passione." He was long ago invited to be a permanent player at one of Kazakhstan's major opera houses but turned it down in order to do his own more creative thing.

He was trained for years in classical voice (bel canto), but didn't choose to go into opera as he found it too limiting. He doesn't actually sing with the true operatic technique even though we all think he does in songs like this! If you listened to an true opera singer it sounds different to his operatic style voice, it sounds more sharp than he does. This is because opera singers are trained to sing without a microphone so they can be heard over the orchestra at the back of the opera house and they have to use a special resonance technique to do that. Dimash probably could do it, but he doesn't choose to, which is one of the reasons why his voice sounds so beautiful to our ears when he sings this genre. I prefer his voice to an opera singers voice any day. And he can sing anything. He ticks all the boxes for me. Thanks for your great reaction! Subbed and liked!

It isn't just a head voice. It is a mixed chest & head voice, though he does go into his head voice on times. He does it all with ease. Yes he is opera trained & was offered a place in the Astana Opera House but had decided by then that he wanted to pursue a career in neo-classical/ crossover styles, which he does perfectly! Having said that he has sung Opera a number of times. He sang 2 Opera songs at Igor's birthday celebration which was held in an ice rink with ice dancers performering while singers sang! Spectacular show. He sang Ti Amo Cosi with a wonderful female Opera singer, Aida (forgotten her surname & Lara Fabian), and sang Ulisse with Aida too. He has also performed a duet just a few months ago with the great Placido Domingo when he was invited to be a judge on Placido's show in Budapest called Virtuosos, a talent show for young classical musicians. He also composed an operatic song that he sang for the first time in his live concerts in Almaty, Kazakhstan in 2022.
