I did with the S23 Ultra. Use the cable to transfer. It made it very easy.
I just made the switch. The last Samsung phone I had was the galaxy s3, then went iPhone from there until the 13 pro max. While I feel iOS is super simple apple really tightens the screws when it comes to customizing, which is a shame. I’m loving the 23 ultra, I won’t be going back for way more reasons than just the customization. (Samsung makes a superior display also, but that’s not the only reason either, just a bonus) 3 weeks in and super happy.

The things I’ve learnt in this video from you, has made me realise just how easy and simplistic it is to use and I also found out something for myself by experimenting and that’s that if you hold down on your edge panel’s Clipboard’s copied content, some options like the delete bin icon pop up 👍🏼😀👌
I already did backup with the SanDisk extreme SSD 👌, don't trust clouds, so I have a clone SSD as a spare for my PCs. A tip for those who want to be connected to fixed Ethernet (LAN) for fast data transport or installation, I use the 8-in-1 usb-c pd hub from Anker or Baseus with the LAN port for my Samsung S21-FE or Tablet Tab S6 lite. Do not forget to disconnect correctly via the system menu, otherwise the device will ask for a restart. 😉

That multiple item clip board looks really handy! I've seen references to similar apps while using Chrome on the phone but don't really know how to take full advantage of it. I have copied items 2-3 times while sending an email or text, which seems like the place where it should be easiest to access. Having to go into the edge panel is out of the way. Of course there could be things that you want to hold on to for a long time to share.
When i saw this video i was a bit annoyed that he didnt show that you can acces the clipboard trough your keyboard when typing. Click the clipboard icon direct left from your spacebar, or if there is another icon hold it, and slide your finger/select the clipboard icon
@@rickboogaard1610 I didn't really remember this video well but have been able to access the clipboard simply by pressing the screen, holding it, and selecting clipboard on my S23 Ultra. It brings up quite a few of the last clipboard items! The key to the left on my space bar offers several options but not the clip board. Maybe it can be added as the other characters can.I like being able to press and hold right where I want to insert a clipboard item anyway!
My S23 ultra comes tomorrow. Number 5 is an awesome feature. A perfect way to make sure my photos are always backed up and saved. I dont care if I have access all the time. All I care is that my years of personal photos wont be lost forever. Coming from an Iphone XR and backing up photos sucks without a mac or icloud storage.

Great video! No new info to me, but it did remind me that I completely forgot to open and configure Bixby again after upgrading to the S23 Ultra from the trusty old Note 20 Ultra for those rare instances where I do want to decline or answer calls by voice.

Can you do an review or suggestions of what method (app) is cheaper or free to save pictures on the cloud? I was using Google photos app, but they started charging and we'd like to know if there is better options, besides saving pictures on a sd card device. Thank you. Great video by the way.....

I like your video, there are interesting options. I especially like the option to add wallpaper or video to contacts in the phone book, but that option is not available to me even though I have an s23 ultra and the latest update! My account has reached the 15Gb limit and i can't received no more emails, i tried to empty the google photo by dragging pictures and videos and it won't let me....do you have any tip, tricks or advice...thanks!

Hi there, if I set up the backup function with an extern ssd, will this entire ssd be deleted first to make a new backup or not? I have also other things on this ssd and I don't want to loose it.

Does the backup to ext drive copy everything? Is it any different from using smart switch from phone to phone? Smart switch doesn't work for all my apps, that's why I'm asking.

Question? Does the back-up to scandisk also backup all of the phone's settings? Wondering because when I get a new phone I have to go back and do all my settings over and most of the time I can't remember them all.

For the "offline" backup to an external drive, it has to be formated on FAT32, or it's possible to use with NTFS? Thanks
fat, but you can get an app on play store called exFAT/NTFS by paragon to solve this
@@TechnicallyAlex Well, thinking about it, it's pretty uncommon to have a file which size surpasses the limit of FAT. Regarding that app from Paragon, i already had it installed but it's a shame that we have to use Total Commander. Well, i'll search for a solution (one that I already had thought was that SanDisk you mentioned) but one of 512GB (I'm not seeing me reaching the maximum storage of my S23 Ultra but...) must be expensive. Just one more question: Is it possible to do this backup from 2 devices (S23+ and S23 Ultra) to the same disk, or it will be "locked" only to the bak of one device? Thanks

I lasted almost to the end xD Subscribed, bro. Nice features. I also discovered after 3 months of use my S20FE that in Samsung you can select the brightness of flashlight. All you have to do is to hold up flashlight shortcut, then menu pops-up where you can choose different flashlight power. Useful, when you want to spare some battery and light a way more discrete, or use full power for some time to get every last lumen from LED
It doesn't get much brighter than the default level but it does dim down quite a bit.
