We met Hari Raghavan in Toronto, Canada at the FIDE Candidates 2024. He silently supported many initiatives during the event. He helped with Sagar's accommodation during the first half of the event. He sponsored the Candidates Rapid and Blitz events on rest days. He organized transport for Vidit's team visiting the Niagara falls and he ensured that security was organized at a very short notice for Gukesh's fan meetup. Apart from this Hari supports Group e4 with his contributions. He aims to create a world class tournament in the country. Truly he is the silent supporter of chess not just in India but all across the world! Here's a short interview with the man himself.

  • Sagar, you have, what we like to say is a, “Nose for news.” You know where the story is. I want to express what I am sure is, the chess world’s gratitude for filling the important role of chess journalist. You really brought all of us to Toronto with you. I would love to shake your hand some day. Cheers.
