How To Eat with Glucose Goddess Jessie Inchauspé | A Bit of Optimism Podcast

It’s not just what we eat but how we eat it that counts. Eating the same meal in a different order can dramatically change how we feel!
Glucose Goddess is the viral Instagram account of Jessie Inchauspé, who’s inspired millions of people to change how they eat. With simple and easy dietary hacks, Jessie teaches people how to prevent glucose spikes - large influxes of sugar into our bodies that make us tired, stress our organs, and cause us to age.
Since adopting her eating habits, my energy has never been better. I was thrilled to talk with Jessie about creating Glucose Goddess and her personal story behind showing people a better way to eat.
This…is A Bit of Optimism.

  • I love how Simon asks her questions and not talk over her like some hosts.

  • The Glucose Goddess has a knack for simplifying science for her audience, which is commendable. However, while her supplement Anti-Spike might sound enticing, it's crucial for people to remember that optimal health goes beyond just popping a pill. Mindful consumption and a healthy lifestyle are key for long-term well-being.

  • Good to see Simon is integrating the healthspan / longevity space with his business leadership plateform. Bottom line, if your not healthy, you cannot be the best person/leader you can be.

  • Woow!! Im so proud of you on your journey, what a great inspiration! Losing weight is definitely not easy at all. One thing I realised after losing 50kg/100lbs in 5 months doing water fasting I realised that new goals don’t deliver new results, a new lifestyle does. This is a process not an outcome. For this reason, all of your energy should go into building better habits. Not chasing better results.

  • Thank you for this podcast! I heard you talk about your just cause and your vision before, but this time as you gave her advice at the end, it somehow clicked and I found my own just cause and vision. Thank you! And to think I almost didn't listen because the title didn't appeal to me, but the short clip made me intrigued and I enjoyed it from beginning to end.

  • Hi Jessie First day really trying vinegar in glass of water before breakfast plus some lettuce, still had my oats with a few cornflakes on milk and a little sugar, but no toast and marmalade this morning. Story is I had a stent fitted 3 years ago plus started taking the tablets associated with that procedure, and have been very tired every afternoon about 3_4 o'clock and not feeling much better until next morning, but today I was just very slightly tired about 4 o'clock then worked another 3 hours on the farm , and feel the best I have for years, so I'm going to take it further thank you very much indeed. Ps just bought 2 of your books today. 😊 Ray in Somerset GB.

  • You should try to get Dr. Sten Ekberg or Dr. Eric Berg on to actually break it down to the core of human physiology; down to the molecular level and why these concepts and principles help us as humans during our evolution. If you go to any of their videos there are literally thousands of comments per video of someone which saved their life or helped them when no doctor, or medicine could for years if not decades.

  • It is good to make health easy simple and practical. But to live healthy is much more difficult than doing hacks . Hacks are good but selling books to make money is also the goal covered with passion fun and repeating the same informations again and again.Always the start is pure then the head of business appears to make money. So be careful about quick success the fall is fast too.
