    • Ice sucked in both Dakotas last winter First year in many we didn’t travel to SD to ice fish from Fargo. But that did lead us to some new lakes past Jamestown even trade. Low water is killing the runoffs north of DL this year.

  • For a beer batter use Leinenkugel summer shanny. For it already has the lemon in the beer and it's so good. Also if you like crappie, and shrimp Scampi. Try doing a crappie scampi. Even better. You can thank me latter.

  • Bond-fire cook; tin foil, sliced potato, onion slice, fish slice, butter, wrap up tight. Place on bed old red coals. Sit back and enjoy a beverage and bond with the comrades. Enjoy; when beverage is finished, hopefully it is not a long drawn out story time, ie 7 minutes cook.( one of those turkey popper probes helps when wrapped up in foil to know cooking time)
