  • Clayton, its appreciated when you are honest & say you went 2 days without catching/locating a single fish - It just shows us that you are just as normal as us watching! I fished Nipigon this last week & we couldn't find a fish if our life depended on it!!! They are all too busy spawning, plus... Lake Nipigon has ice still soooo LOL!

  • Love seeing videos from the Canadian prairies. I'm in Manitoba, and combing the riverbanks for walleye is one of my favourite hobbies. The only thing I hate about it is the snags. For those who are wondering, a lot of the time you can effectively free a snag by adjusting your angle to the object by as much as you can (try to get beside it or behind it if possible). This only really works if the snag is close to the shore, and with trees (like in this video) it's much less effective (I still try anyways because I'm stubborn and cheap). But if you have a jig caught behind a rock or something, it will work almost every time. Just my experience!
