I envy your mobility. My first Peet's experience was in Greenwich Village in the early '90s, I believe. I've never looked back. I think I've found it at QFC in Seattle, but I usually just order it by mail.

If you’re still in SF, check out Noise Records in the outer Richmond. Danny and Sarah are two of the sweetest people. Danny is also an absolutely phenomenal saxophonist, and leads the group at the jazz club Geelou

BEF I think stands for British Electronic Foundation and is tangential to Heaven 17, probably pretty good mid-early eighties dance stuff. Just for your info. Saw Jethro Tull and Blue Oyster Cult, one the first big arena shows I ever saw, 1979?

This may be a first where I know more about an album than you. Being a fan of Tull, I bought the album A when it came out. It's not among their best but it has a few memorable tunes like "Crossfire", "Working John, Working Joe", and "4.W.D. (Low Ratio)". Tull's first dozen or so albums are solid with a few that are superb, i.m.o.
