    • I only saw Kobe once in my lifetime. It was on April 3, 2001 at Utah. The beginning of the historic 12 game ROAD winning streak (regular season including playoffs as well). They lifted the NBA trophy by not losing a single road game (April, May and June months). No other NBA team has ever done that including being undefeated on the road during the playoffs while lifting the NBA trophy. The Lakers didn't even had a 60 win season that year.

  • I still remember that month of January of '06 like yesterday being a die hard Spurs fan and the nba in general. I couldn't believe my eye's seeing Kobes 81 point score total in the bottom graphic banner while watching nba tv highlights on dish network....than i saw a repeat of the game they had stuck on nba tv all day. I still have it. I still remember fred carter saying it was better than wilts hundred because Kobes was mostly outside shots. Idk about that. But i knew than I had witnessed history....true story new orleans hornets during that time lossed to my Spurs 115-68 or something ridiculous and sean elloit had to point the fact Kobe outscored the hornets 68 points with his 81 all by himself...lol.

    • When Wilt scored 100, the league average was higher than it was when Kobe scored 81. Imo, his game vs Dallas with 62 in 3 quarters was even more crazy. If he wanted to, I think he could've actually scored 100 in that game.

I can recall another Spurs vs Lakers game that same season. I had recorded. Now, the first 3 quarters are the entire Spurs team hitting most of thier shots, in a 20 point plus blowout.. until Kobe caught fire out of nowhere....it was absolutely incredible...once again. You can see Kobe single handed devour this 25 point plus lead with three's. He must of hit like 6 of 8 maybe more, All the way back until the single digits....it was something I've never seen before..he did something similar In 2003 game five semi finals also. He'd nearly brought his team back to win all by himself. If it wasn't for Michael Finley hitting a dagger shot to finally finish them off. It was absolutely incredible. Kobes offensive game that season. Was unlike anything I've ever seen before since.

  • One of my fav game was when he played the blazers. Hit an impossible 3 to send it to OT. Then another impossible 3 in OT to win. Kobe would average 40+ in today's soft nba. Always lol when lebron fan boys only brings up stats for arguments. Kobe could of easily gotten 1-2 more mvp and scoring titles. Shit, imo his path to the finals is probably the hardest. The west was stacked.

  • Look, I love Wilt as much as the next, but lets state the facts. Wilt was not more talented than Kobe, he just happen to be “The Largest most athletic human ever” and play in the 60s. He also played against significantly inferior competition, with a significant advantage. Kobe p4p was the best Laker in any generation. Period.

  • I’m still shocked how you trade the best big in the game and only get Odom back as a consistent starter/role player. Butler decent but we only had him for a year or something.

  • I'm so grateful to be able to watch Kobe play the game. I assume it's similar to ol heads watching MJ play. Kobe did things I haven't seen done since he did. Every generation has their GOAT. Right now we're in the Lebron Era. These clowns love to put Lebron over Kobe. But in my opinion, it'll always be 1.Mj 2.Kobe 3.everybody 4.else

  • Lebron weaknesses are Kobe’s strengths and Kobe weaknesses are lebrons strengths. I’ll take Kobe because lebron is not as skilled he plays bully ball because he’s bigger faster stronger than the people guarding him but he will hesitate to take the last shot miss the shot against the nuggets after getting swept and then claim he might retire. What a cope out he knows he wasn’t retiring but didn’t want the media to bash him all summer

    • @@Coop0 I’m an nba scout buddy I watched 85 percent of nba players in high school I know nba players I went to high school with nba players. Lebron weakness is his unwillingness to shoot the ball in clutch time moments he gonna pass the ball to a player not a talented as him and then media says lebron needs more help. Kobe weakness was his unwillingness to pass to teammates. That’s all I’m saying
