1型センサーを搭載したソニーのXperia PRO-I。カメラ性能をチェックするため、同じく1型センサーを搭載したLEITZ PHONE 1と、比較対象としてiPhone 13 Proを用意して、写真と動画を条件を同じようにして撮影しました。
同じ1インチセンサー搭載のスマホ同士でも、やはりメーカーが違うと、仕上がりが全然違いますね。
使用しているXperia PRO-Iは、発売前のテスト機のため、製品版とは性能や機能が異なる場合があります。

  • The stills coming out of the Xperia is very very good. The DOF on the yellow flower is very natural and the colors look more realistic compared to the HDR on some of the iPhone shots.

  • Leitz Phone、もといAQUOS R6がAQUOS R7にモデルチェンジするにあたって、R6のネガな部分をカタログ上はほぼ全て無くしたので、改めて比較したらどうなるか気になりますね 特に大きいのが、不評だったフォーカスが全画素を使った像面位相差AFによって改善されるのと、画素のピクセルサイズが更に大きくなるらしいです

  • Those who are surprised as to why video on an iPhone appears to be of high quality. The reason for this is due to video processing. Sony creates raw video files in the same way that professional cameras do, allowing you to color grade them anyway you like. The difference between a phone and a professional camera is this. Sony xperia Pro-i is not just a phone, but also a professionl camera.

    • @Tessoro Desoto more precisely a smartphone that is intended for professional users. Because even if it is given high specs but the user is not professional, it will only look ordinary. Like a track-oriented car but used by non-professionals, the car only looks like a car in general

Is it necessary for a professional when buying the product to tell you that? not necessary right? why many people do not buy the smartphone? because if you want good results, you have to know how to do it manually. If you think it looks pro because it says "pro" the rest is very average, then how about other smartphones like Leica and Apple Phone? are they very very average smartphones compared to pro-i ?

  • In general xperia is more accurate for pictures, and videos, just it have the same issue as all phone for video, the autofocus is doing some agressive AF search every second, that make the AF non usable for professional shot. Phone can do fantastic job when they are on gimbal with steady shot off, and manual focus. The iPhone is doing some good job as well but the sharpening process is somtime quite distracting, especially with the light reflexion.

    • Sony produces more raw results, while others are raw + assisted by AI, so the results are not very natural

    • Sony has for sure the best photos here, but the worst video in most samples. ESPECIALLY when panning. Maybe thats better in 60 or 120 FPS. But the video was the worst in this comparison. It might be better if he held the camera still and the subjects moved.

    • @@jamescohen UPDATE: I went to GSM Arena and looked at their video samples and they are excellent. It is indeed an improvement over the competing flagship phones. It falls short of a good Mirrorless, but for many many uses, the video is equally useful. I can't wait to get mine and try it out.

    • @@JamesCohenCaravan no trust me the 4k 30fps is choppy af on Sony Xperias. But once you start shooting 4k 120fps, there isn't a competition out there that could match that quality including latest iPhones. Just have a looks at James Matthews's and Sara Dietschy's videos for PRO-I. Mind blowing. Even Arun from Mr.Whostheboss who is a iPhone fanatic said the PRO-I video quality is unmatched at the moment

  • Xperia Pro i wins even though it's a pre-production unit and not the retail one... everything looks natural and true to life... no oversharpening or oversaturation like iPhone has. So, hopefully the retail version will do even better in stills and videos!

    • 自前で持っているのはiPhone 13 Proだけなんでｗ まぁいろいろ試してみましたが、Androidは大なり小なり熱で止めちゃう（低温やけどの心配などもあって）ので、長時間動画を撮るならAndroidはやめたほうがいいですよ。特にセンサーが大きいとそれだけ発熱も大きいので。 動画を長時間撮るならiPhone1拓です。iPhoneもめちゃくちゃ熱くなりますが、そんなの知ったこっちゃないと無視して動き続けるので。さすがに熱くなりすぎると止まりますが、センサーも大きくないし有利と言えば有利ですね。

    • Not really. The 4k 30fps on Sony Xperias are choppy for whatever the reason. But the 120fps 4k murders iPhone and every other brands. It's just that these people don't use that resolution because none of the other phones including iPhone has 4k 120fps 😂

  • 良くも悪くもライツが一番カメラっぽい色を出すね。サンドイッチの緑被りとかｗ画像エンジンよりも、光学的な部分に重きを置いている。 モノクロに関してはぶっちぎりでいい。 エクスペリアは万能型って感じ。コントラストも高く、色の乗りもいいけど、画像処理エンジン頼み感あり。 自分も使ってるｉＰｈｏｎｅはさすがにセンサーサイズの小ささのせいで、他の二機種とはちょっと比較にならないレベルです。 画像エンジンで無理やりシャープネスとコントラストを上げてる感じがすごい。実機を持ってる人ならわかると思うけど、やっぱりトーンジャンプ起きてるし。 夕暮れ直前の、青からオレンジへの空の階調撮影するとわかりやすい。

  • Nice piece, this is the ONLY comparison that matters today with the 1 inch sensors commanding all of the pricing and attention... to these eyes the iphone still destroys the field! The lack of computational photography in both Sony and Leica is a serious hand tied behind the back...

  • XPERIAの方が写真に味がありますね。 それにiPhone12〜14Pro Max持ってましたが写真撮影時にフレアやゴースト現象が気になりました。 iPhoneの写真は写真と言うより加工された絵って感じがします。 XPERIAの自然さには勝てないと思います。

  • 生の色って後々便利なんだよねー。 それにしても、この三機種全部SONYセンサーという事実。 各メーカー毎に描きたい画が違うから一概にはいえないけど、 この中で唯一のカメラメーカーであるSONY。 私はSONYの画作りが好き。 (En) The raw colors will come in handy later. Anyway, the fact that all three of these models have SONY sensors. It's hard to say, because each manufacturer has its own image that they want to paint, but But Sony is the only camera maker in this group. I like the way SONY creates images.

  • Leitz Phone 1の色味のエモさ。Xperiaは動画撮影はVideo Proでシャッタースピード固定しないとフリッカーが酷くHDR処理も下手な印象。HDR録画すると23fpsになる仕様もそのままっぽいな。iPhoneは安定だけど13になって草の感じとか動物の毛並みの表現が下手になったな

  • ポートレートメインならXPERIA一択な結果ですね。スマホはどれも色味が強く出過ぎて自然な仕上がりにならないのが問題で、その画像処理のために、被写体の輪郭がボケるのが気になってました。 さすが、ソニーです。

    • I believe this man didn't touch most of the settings. The sony phone need the user to do a lot of manual adjustment to make good photos or video. He is merely using auto i think.

  • 味がある描写はライカだけですね。あとの2台は味わいとは無縁の現代的な描写。iphoneはコントラストがきつくて不自然です。 なぜかライカの写真はシャープさがないのですが、なにか設定を間違えていませんか？ ipboneは逆行時のフレアがひどいです。もう少し保護ガラスを含めてコーティングを考えたほうがいいです。 動画ですが、さとるさんのパンが速すぎです。液晶モニターの残像もあるし、KZhead映像が圧縮されていることからくる残像もあるし、見にくいです。 もっとゆっくりパンして、止まった映像も混ぜてほしいです。
