Waterholes! Never know what you're going to see. When we arrived at this waterhole in Hwange National Park it appeared empty. However, we'd learned that patience generally pays off. And it did!
This playful young hippo, after the plastic water pipe doesn't respond he finds a live playmate... a crocodile. However, this croc is not necessarily happy about this. Watch what happens and who comes to the rescue. No blood and gore... just some laughs at the interactions of these two which is rather strange!

  • Imagine being a descendent of those who competed with the mighty dinosaurs only to get harassed by a water cow. Edit: I’ve edited my comment to clarify that Crocodiles are not descendants of the dinosaurs themselves, but rather lived alongside them.

Just like the other guy said, birds are the actual descendents of the dinosaurs and therefore, the modern day dinosaurs.

    • Only humans would catch animals that rival their own intelligence, force them with violence and starvation to do tricks for "entertainment" then when the poor traumatized animal retaliates, the poor thing is gunned down in the streets, in front of everyone.     • Max Power well of course were also animals but at the same time not like us at all. We have completely wiped out entire populations just for pure greed. Take the white rhinos for example, they are completely extinct because in Asian countries rhino dust is known to make you “last longer” in bed. We enslave orcas for entertainment. Shall I go on?     • There's a clip here someplace of an elephant that got angry at a buffalo, and gored it, threw it at least 5-6 feet up in the air . That's close to a ton of weight pitching it around like a loaf of bread. Apparently , the buffalo got too close to mama and baby elephant. If I remember , the buffalo died, then the small elephant group of three, had hyena problems as they wanted the dead buffalo.
