  • In Vietnam, Well, the Prime Minister borrowed the 787-9 of Vietnam Airlines which Registration VN-A868, or VN-A871 for his transport from Hanoi to many other meetings if the international meetings are a shorter range, he can just lease an Airbus A321 or A321neo fly there. Last time, but first the chairwoman of the National Assembly from the country used an Airbus A350-900 from Hanoi to Paris to participate in the delivery of the final Vietnam Airlines A350-900 in Toulouse. Also, Germany will be replacing the aging A340s with brand new A350-900s

  • Most of these planes are flown by the air force of their respective countries. Leaders can usually hop on any aircraft of their air force, so saying that Putin has 130 aircraft is meaningless. What's interesting is dedicated VIP transport. Also missing is the French presidential A330 with baguette oven.

    • China almost had a designated plane back in early 2000s when they brought a special ordered 767-300ER from Boeing, and somehow they found bugs planted all over the plane just before it was actually used for presidential transport. The plane ended up joining Air China for commercial operations instead and never saw a day with Chinese leadership on board.
