As a diehard Buckeye fan , I am more happy for Michigan than the Big10 . Michigan deserved to win the game and the Big10 title. I didn't think Michigan was that good, until they dominated the Buckeyes. I don't think Ryan Day can ever beat Michigan and once again, the Buckeyes were outplayed and outcoached in a bowl game. Day needs to go .

Even if you take the rings and bonuses away from the coaching staff as punishment since they were aware of what Conor Stalions was doing that’s fine. The Harbaugh family is spoiled enough. Just allow the players to be at peace knowing they themselves did it by the book with their skillset, effort, and improvisation throughout the year.

Could you imagine the ticket prices if people knew it was? I was fortunate to be in Michigan Stadium for Bo Schembechler's final home game against OSU. We didn't realize it at the time. It's crazy thinking about that. If Bo announced before OSU, no way we're in that stadium. Same here. If Saban announces before the playoffs, half the people in that stadium won't be able to get tickets

As a Penn State fan it was tough for me to root for Michigan, but they really needed to win this game for all of us in the Big 10.

Just rewatching this with 3 months of hindsight. The late game drives almost feel like a movie. At least 6 plays that will go down in all time Michigan history: 1. The 4th and 2 pass to Corum, 2. The deflected pass that Roman had to leap up to catch and prevent an INT, 3. The TD to Roman, 4. The Corum won't go down TD run in OT, 5. Mason Graham really putting the pressure on Bama with the 4 yard TFL on 2nd down and 6. Milroe stopped short.

@18:17 Corum was already a Michigan legend and on the "Mount Rushmore" of Michigan RBs. But that play made him THE best RB in Michigan history. At least the best I've seen since I began watching Michigan football in 1990 as a kid. That run in OT just sums up this era of Michigan so well and will be replayed forever as an example of why this team is special.
He is like Juggernaut. Once he gets going he is so hard to bring down. Look at how many had their hands on him in that run and couldn't do jack until he got to the end zone and relaxed. Only then did he go down. I hope he makes millions in the pros

Michigan was able to still pull out this win despite an awful Special Teams performance (2 muffed punts (1 loss, 1 downed on the 1 yd line), 1 missed FG). This speaks volumes about this team’s character, and their tough & resilient culture. Go Blue!

Yea we dominated stat line in 1st half. 2nd half not as much but without 1st half mistakes we would've won in regulation.
Absolutely insane that they still managed to win that game. When considering the importance of special teams, I always refer to the 2010 San Diego Chargers. They were the only team in NFL history to have both the #1 offense and defense. They finished 8-8 and missed the playoffs, because their special teams were ranked dead last.

Michigan fan here. What bothered me so much about the last two years of playoff losses is the Michigan team they had been all year those seasons didn't show up in the playoff games. This game started with some of that with a shoulda been interception, a muffed punt, and Sainristil getting beaten for a 1 on 1 tackle. I thought oh here we go again (and it didn't exactly get completely clean the rest of the way). So so happy we won this game.

My only wish was this was for a national championship. It means so much to me to beat the standard of excellence in Alabama Football, after getting crushed by them the last two times Michigan played Alabama. They finally caught up to Alabama. I wouldn't rather have it any other way to win a national championship, than to go through the standard that's Alabama.
This is the game people will remember. The classic blue bloods going at it in an epic game for the ages. The championship game will be an afterthought. Just like the Miracle on Ice. Few remember that the gold medal game was USA/Finland. They only remember the USA/USSR game. This was the heavyweight game between two incredible teams that went down to the end. Instant classic

This game is an instant classic. The fact that it took a final drive by Michigan in regulation to tie it just to have the possibility of winning it after Alabama seemed to grab control of the game in the middle of the 4th makes this a classic. Not to mention how it came down to a 4th and goal from 3 yards in OT out to finally put an end to the game. This Rose Bowl is automatically right up there with Georgia/Oklahoma in 2018 🔥

@clemsonfox First of all I want to say I'm a diehard Michigan fan, and my second favorite team is any team that beats Ohio State. A few years ago Clemson and Ohio State played and Clemson won, I was so excited and while I was shopping one day, I ran across a stretch ring with the Clemson paw print and bought it and was showing it off to my o.s.u. friends as I would say " so! "How bout them Tigers?!" With a huge smile on my face, they'd reply " I don't want to hear it, or I don't want to talk about it! Then I'd laugh! It is all in fun. I was born and raised in Ohio and love the state, I just don't like the Buckeyes, never did. So I just wanted to share that story with you and say I like Clemson too, so I wish your team well also!🙂

As a bama fan I’ll be the first to admit I thought we would win today. This game was everything you could ask for in a football game. The scenery was that of a movie. Two of the best programs of all time slugging it out. I was very impressed with Michigan’s physicality and grit. The game plan defensively from Michigan was well thought out and executed at a very high clip. I felt that bama was out coached for most of the game, In particularly in the first half. Everyone on that field gave it everything they had. It was a game you didn’t want to end. Michigan made the plays when it mattered and dominated the line of scrimmage for a good part of the game. I am of course disappointed, but really enjoyed every minute of the game. NO excuses, Michigan was the better team and deserved to win. I tip my cap to you guys. I can’t imagine how you guys must feel after the last couple years, but you guys are going to the Natty and will be a force to be reckoned with.

A close friend of mine and a Forman at my shop was a huuuge michigan fan. He passed away from his fight with cancer this past summer and I can tell he was smiling over this win. He was even saying in the spring how good they looked this year for the defense prospects. He would have loved to see this one. I'm a psu fan but that was a good old fashioned ending. The trap/counter play to get the lead and then the ground game stopped at the 3 yrd line. That was awesome.

After being at the stadium for loss to App state, watching the bobbled kick loss to Michigan State and all the losses to OSU, and CFP losses, this nail biter brought me to tears. So many years of tough losses and now they pulled out one for the ages. It’s great, to be, a Michigan Wolverine.

As a life-long OSU and PSU fan - I gotta hand it to Michigan for some amazing heart on this win - special teams had some issues but they played thru it and turned things around. This is an amazing team and credit to Michigan - their hard work and heart has really paid off - they've had a lot of bad luck and bad breaks over the years and they over-came...they represented the Big 10 in a great way !!

Die hard Michigan fan here. I've been through it all. App State loss, muffed punt Michigan St. loss, several slaughterings from OSU and two playoff losses. This is absolutely the the most resilient game I've ever seen us play. And also, our defense is the best we've ever had. We're just built differently.

I agree. They say it was a bad call but Michigan defended it well. The linebackers covered both the right and left end of the line giving Bama no where to go but straight up the file. You do not beat the Big Ten by out muscling them. You need to out finesse them.
