I’m a buckeye and this one hurt but this is the 1st time I been proud of them in a loss . This game was a instant classic
Has anyone commented on the spot of the ball when Stroud scrambled to the 30? They marked it past the 31 going back to the 32. I have replayed and he landed down on the 30 and worst case the ball was "dead" between the 30 andv31. Terrible placement by ref, a full yard short.
@@KMK7355 just like in boxing or mma, "never leave it to the judges". The Buckeyes did a fantastic job competing against the #1 team, and they did it without a handful of offensive starters. They have nothing to be ashamed of.
@@KMK7355 I just watched it at .25 speed and it looked like a correct spot to me. Regardless, even if they spotted it 3 feet closer, does that mean the FG attempt would have been 3 feet less to the left?
They left nothing on the field, fought to the end.
As a Dawg fan since 1975, I can relate to these types of game not going "our way." Much respect to OSU.

The greatest CFP weekend yet.
Both games were nail biters right to the end.
Refs were deplorable in Fiesta Bowl. 3 calls stood out. TCU was flagged for "roughing QB"...bad call, but not reviewable. Real time I yelled "helmet2helmet" on UMs last play...and was pleasantly surprised when the refs went to replay. The announcer even said that this meets the definition of "targeting". Wrong call. But the worst call was on the TD, clearly he double clutched,and not only should it have stood, I would lean to TD confirmed. Then they mark it 16" back. What a pity that refs decided that game.

Watching TCU today, it is evident that this game here was the real national championship game.
As a buckeye fan I’m a little hurt but man I was at the game and I can honestly say for this to be the first ever college football game I ever been to, this has to be the best game I’ve ever seen and I am truly grateful to be in attendance.

Let me just say, I'm a HUGE, HUGE Buckeye fan since I was very young and this was one of the all-time great games in college football history, despite the loss. A team that was suppose to get stomped rose up and played an outstanding game! Congrats to GA on winning the national title!!
Ohio State's QB and WR communication are incredible. I've never seen such flawless communication in a game before. These are talented athletes. Georgia is just hard-charging, up-the-cut, in-your-face, behemoths they're an impressive team to watch.
It was great but LSU 2019 and BAMA 2020 flawless as well but Ohio St laid it out there in this one if Georgia had a bad day I think Ohio St caused the bad day and I was for Georgia.

This was a great game, unreal how closely matched these two teams are. This may have been the best college game I've seen since Texas vs USC in 2006. Marvin Harrison Jr. is one heck of a football player!

Even with those ints, all 4 teams still had over 450 yards of offense, 20 first downs, and 40 points...they did whatever they wanted. Unless they were dumb enough to throw it directly to the other team (lookin at you Bennett, that first half int was gross LOL) That's bad defense guy... The games were still entertaining. I'm just saying, dude does have a point...there wasn't any good defense being played. It was all about the offenses'.

For other guys it’s the highest level their careers will reach so their fighting with their whole lives to go out on top. All makes for crazy great games!

As a Georgia fan hats off to Buckeye Nation they totally outplayed us in every facet of the game but proud of my dawgs the way they continued to battle no matter what the situation was. Much respect to OSU in the future.
OSU defense could not stop the Dawgs, to me that was the difference maker. Also GA missed a couple long FGs too so that's just how it goes. Much respect to CJ for keeping osu in the game.

As a fellow lifelong buckeye fan.. I can’t help but feel a little shame at this loss. We gave up a 14 point lead TWICE and once in the 4th quarter.. the play calling the second half was horrible and Day seemed determined to do everything possible to make that kick for Noah as difficult for him as he could.. that kick could’ve been a hundred times easier. Yeah.. we made it a good game.. but we should’ve won this game :-(

as a georgia fan you explain to me how you can blow a play dead after OSU had a first down on the fake punt replay clearly showed the timeout came after the play started, explain to me how your targeting penalty gets thrown out because he didnt hit marvin harrison in the head (even though the replay clearly showed him leading with his helmet into a defenseless receiver at neck level) but MARVIN HARRISON IS BEING HELD OUT FOR A CONCUSSION LOLOLOLOLOLOL Did he get hit in the head for a concussion or did he not because it cant be both. ive never heard of someone getting a concussion from getting hit in the shoulder there is literally no explanation for multiple calls against OSU in this game other than vegas couldnt afford paying out after TCU went to the title game at 200-1. you have to actually be retarded or blind to think that this game wasnt completely rigged
I'm proud of Ohio State as well they played their hearts out unfortunately I wasn't able to see Ohio State beat Georgia for the first time in mark it off my bucket list but God has told me that there will be more chances for that in the future eventually I'll get to mark it off my bucket list we got a good defensive coach in Jim Knowles hopefully Stroud will have another chance of a championship next season if he stays and doesn't go pro

First time I've seen the OSU vs Georgia highlights. Wow! What an intense game.
After watching the TCU-Michigan game, I was wondering how this game would follow. This one was just as good if not better. Most fun I have had watching football this season.

What a game. OMG. When Buckeyes went up 35-24 I went ahead and started making my peace with the fact my Dawgs were probably going to lose. What an amazing comeback out scored the Buckeyes 18-3 in the 4th. Neither of the teams have anything to be ashamed of. I'm so happy we won and I honestly feel horrible for Stroud and the Kicker. Stroud needed to play the game of his life and he did, just to lose it on a missed field goal from a kicker(who as i understand) that is very good. Man Go DAWGS

@@nathanhenderson9350 When bowls are played in Neutral states, then and only then can the winners be pronounced with confidence. Northern state teams always have to go down and usually play at the apposing teams backyard or a neighbors. I was glad to see Michigan and TCU play in a generally neutral state and TCU winning legitimately. But Alabama, Georgia, USC, and more tend to always play at home or nearby. The NCAA know this is dirty and arrogant, but that is what they are proud of. The media and likely northern universities are being paid to not make an issue out of it. "Cry me a river" and other such dimwitted statements the stupid masses would say, but the end results would without fail change if bowls were played in neutral zones (apart from a few lesser bowls).
I thought it was crazy when everyone was counting out Ohio St after they lost to Michigan.. They were the 2nd best team all year up until that game and they showed it, great game. Go Dawgs!

As an OSU fan, man this hurts but I’m proud of my buckeyes for how hard they played. Hats off to Georgia y’all played great too. This was such a good game. I honestly was just hoping that this wouldn’t be a blowout and that OSU would make it competitive and they did. They lost and still shocked people. Also I appreciate the class. I’m glad both sides can appreciate how amazing this game was. Good luck in the natty Georgia and happy new year
Ohio St proved that they belonged. Gutsy performance on both sides. Tough loss. A true heartbreaker. But a game for the history books. Greatest day in college football yet.

As someone who thought Georgia and under 64 was a lock with Georgia playing pass first defense and knowing what was mostly coming and they still could barley slow them down carter didn't play like a motivated top 5 pick and kelee Ringo was the best Georgia secondary guy all night none of the 5 stars played like it but just good enough

The play of the game was not made by a player, it was made by a coach. The time out called when Ohio State had the fake punt saved the day and forced the Buckeyes to give up the ball. As a Buckeye fan, this hurt, but well deserved win by Georgia. Good luck in winning the championship.

@@HC-sb1ru Its the CFP, these teams are here for high powered offenses. Look at 2014-2020 Iowa and USC. Easily the best defenses in CFB but no play off appearances

After those 2 semi final games I'd say they picked the 4 best teams. College football at it's best.
I have a problem with strength of scheduling.....some teams play very weak teams. But, then play strong in the play offs. Amazing.....but if they actually played harder teams during the year like some teams, they maybe wouldn't be there LIKE OTHERS.
@@billbobagginsbonham9239 possibly, but they can't all help that their conference could have weak teams that season or just recently. And you play smaller schools to give them funding so they can have better facilities and all that good stuff. Most teams play at least 2 teams a year that have no shot. One team that NEVER deserves to go again though, is Notre Dame. Not until they actually play somebody, bc it's been UGLY the last few times they've been "good"

@@randomaccount4950 I would have made the seedings 1-Georgia, 2-Ohio St, 3-Alabama, 4-Michigan, based purely on how good the teams actually are. But I understand that the CFP committee had to look at losses during the season.

Ohio State is a force, they brought it all to the game and had a chance to the bitter end. This Georgia fan has much respect for the Buckeyes. They really had us beat and if not for the bad luck on the final field goal attempt they win. My hat is off to them, they have a great team.

A great, exciting game. The last TD drive by Bennett was a thing of beauty: precise , pinpoint passing under pressure. Two great teams but a great win for UGA and the SEC. And, I believe that Michigan has now lost six bowl games in a row. They always seem to choke in the postseason. I feel sorry for kicker Ruggles, as that missed kick will haunt him for a very long time.
It was a 50 yarder and if you watch all of his kicks, they were all hooks. Very easy to snap hook one from that far out trying to get enough on it and get it up quickly. Georgia has been dynamic blocking field goals since Kirby took over.
I can’t help but feel for the kickers that lose the game this way. That man’s gonna carry that moment forever. Go dawgs!
Former Georgia resident. Current parent of a UGA freshman and Bulldog fan. When the Buckeyes had the early lead and then again at 34, I was resigned to a possible loss for the Dawgs but they did what they do best, never say die. What a game!!! Both teams brought their best. Incredible college football today.

The missed kick really took the air out of the game. Ohio won but shanked the kick then again so did Georgia in the 1st half so all in all it was amazing.
