My dad is a big time TCU fan ever since moving to the metroplex back in the 70's from Central Texas. Dr's are saying we won't have him too much longer after being a Vietnam Vet and hard working man ever since. His vision and hearing are almost gone but he still was able to semi watch this game. Even if TCU doesn't win the national title, this is a game that he i know he'll never forget. Go Frogs. Thank you for giving some excitement to my dad's crazy life of nurses and Dr's.

It was literally the best Fiesta Bowl and Peach Bowl in decades! Maybe ever. Both were amazing games. What a great day of college football.

The two best teams were Georgia & Michigan I would have liked to have seen "The Game" playoff meeting then a UGA-Mich championship game

TCU deserves a lot of credit. They showed they clearly should have been there and showed just how good they are. They made Michigan play their game. And Michigan isn’t used to that. TCU looked like the better team today. Amazing what they have done this season.
I'll give TCU the credit on the win but hold on with clearly the better team...2 pick sixes and 2 touchdowns overturned on Michigan and you guys still struggled to win...let's not get ahead of ourselves...

@@my1rule I've said it ALL SEASON long that Michigan is an over-rated team who played one of the weakest schedules of all Power 5 schools. Definitely played one of the weakest non-conference schedule in the nation. NO WAY Michigan would have been undefeated if they played in the SEC. Any SEC school had a tougher schedule than Michigan had. Mississippi State played a much tougher schedule than Michigan did this year. They played a greater number of ranked teams, and they played BOTH Alabama and Georgia this season.
My brother played for tcu back in 2011, third string linebacker but he loved his team, he was lost in a drunk driving crash and can’t help but feel like he smilin big rn, been a tcu fan my whole life bc of him but I do live in Michigan so this game was a moral conflict

4 most deserving. Alabama can be debated as one of the 4 best based off how they beat the only team that beat TCU. They just weren't as deserving as the 4 that got in.
Well, I'm surprised that the VOTING committee voted TCU in the CFP. In a true playoff format, CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS entry Only. A non-Conference Champion wouldn't been in a real CFP...Just like the last national title game between two teams from the same Conference SEC vs SEC. CFP isn't a true format. Maybe some day...But congrats to TCU. This Win makes up for years of KNOCKING the title game door, even before they weren't in a PWR-5 Conference.

TCU seemed incredibly well coached. MI also good. Loved how both teams kept the iso celebrations and theatrics out of the game for the most part and just came to play. Great football game, hats off to both

Who is back here now, watching this as a direct correlation to what transpired, and winning the national championship in 2024? To me, it wasn’t the other 14 games. We won to get us to that game, but it was the lost of TCU and the loss to Georgia.

Anyone come here after the whole Connor stallions thing, this truly shows that tcu deserved to be in, and that this was the best Cfp game
TCU was an amazing team last year. I think the sign stealing scandal has almost attempted to take away from this team but they made Michigan’s defense look like they were playing on ice skates and as a Michigan fan, it has been a while since I’ve seen a team do that. That being said, I also have not seen Michigan’s offense look so potent. To know they were down by almost 3 touchdowns and came within a drive from winning the game is crazy. What a game. Looking forward to a Michigan team that learned from the past this CFP season.

That third quarter flurry of scores was bananas! I was trying to converse with family, but every time I looked up, there was ANOTHER touchdown in progress! It's wild that the Ohio St v Georgia game later on was just as great!

TCU had a response to everything Michigan hit them with. They never once folded. They never once felt like they were gonna lose that game. This has been a memorable playoff.
TCU wasn't in the top 20 to start the season and rebuilding with a new coach... TCU has had a storybook season. They just beat the best team in the nation in my books. I thought MI was the best all year. I'd love to see them win it all.
TCU wasn't anywhere near the preseason Top 25 & was expected to finish near the bottom of the conference and wasn't even ranked until week 5.

As A Michigan Fan, this hurts. I would like to say congrats to TCU though. You guys were great. Quentin Johnston did really well, the running game was on point, and Dee Winters tore us apart. We also fell apart because of terrible mistakes and terrible officiating, but beside that, you guys controlled this game. Nice job! I’m rooting for you!

Bowl season so far had some great games and this was definitely one of them. TCU keeps winning games there are not suppose to but seem to rise to the occasions. Happy New Year 2023 🎉 everyone!

The Frogs beat No. 2 Michigan 51-45 as an eight-point underdog in a wild Fiesta Bowl….Seems to me Michigan was suppose to win…the odds at the beginning of the season of winning the championship was 200-1…Seems to me that is in line with my quote. Don’t get me wrong, love the frogs and want them to beat Georgia. Everyone has them as underdogs since the beginning of the season. Does not mean that everyone is upset that they are winning! I am just so impressed with how tough and physical their defense was in the game …the offense performed but their defense also stepped up. It was like their team was firing on all cylinders. Shout out to Michigan for never giving up!

Johnston been doing this all season. I've watched TCU all season. Everyone knows he's a top 10 pick. And he still gets open. I knew TCU's speed and Michigan's youth would be a problem. But Michigan fans should be proud. Those kids honored that uniform with that effort.

TCU should still not be top 4. Michigan refused to let themselves win. TCU did what they needed to win but Michigan left 14 points on the field and gave TCU 21.

OU fan here. After TCU beat us and started making a run through the conference I started rooting for them. They played a great game as an underdog against Meeechigan and my hat's off to them! CONGRATS TCU!! Hopefully next year will be better for my team. At least Tbow didn't make the Playoffs lol

Absolutely, and as a Florida fan I never really see my team doing anything other than being good enough to go to a bowl game but I sure love a great underdog story. How fitting is this that it’s TCU against the defending champion Georgia? If they knock the Bulldogs off, this would be a perfect way to cap off a miracle season. Even more fitting would it be some game winning score at the end of the game. Heck, they’re holding the game in Inglewood at SoFi Stadium, only 10 miles away from Hollywood. Win or lose, TCU earned their right to be here.
Well, I'm surprised that the VOTING committee voted TCU in the CFP. In a true playoff format, CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS entry Only. A non-Conference Champion wouldn't been in a real CFP...Just like the last national title game between two teams from the same Conference SEC vs SEC. CFP isn't a true format. Maybe some day...But congrats to TCU. This Win makes up for years of KNOCKING the title game door, even before they weren't in a PWR-5 Conference.

I have been a UM fan since I was a little kid. 7 yrs old. My Father, his Uncle and I went to the Big House to watch Coach Bo lead the Wolverines in a win over the Spartans. In all these years there has only been a handful of times that I knew UM could beat any team they played. All of those times were before the playoffs and most were before 2K. I never thought UM could beat UGA but I did believe they could beat TCU in this game. Sadly, they only defeated themselves. This is something that all UM fans should be used to by now. Our team is its own worst enemy and has been since the days of Bo. Especially in the post season. 2023 can truly be our chance to win it all. Everything is aligned for our team to win every game it plays. Ive only seen this opportunity a handful of times in the last 50 years. Hopefully we wont prove to be our own worst enemy this time. GO BLUE 💙
KU fan here, was obviously thrilled with our season despite the rough ending after a hot start. But you already know I’m cheering for TCU on Monday!!! Don’t count the Big 12 out, toughest conference top to bottom in football AND basketball.

@@markross882 OSU was in cover zero on both those plays. On the first one he broke a tackle and on the second they were so far outside they had no chance. Edwards isn’t crazy fast to begin with. My point is that overall team speed can’t be judged by racing corners and DBs.
